What an unfamiliar ceiling.........
Joey had awoken, his eyes fuzzy at first before revealing a stark
white ceiling with a off-center fan rotating slowly, as if in slow
motion. He took a moment to glance right then left, with his head
still laying on an off-white pillow. He was alone in a hospital room,
but why he wondered. Last thing he remembered was going to Prom with
Chloe, a wonderful girl he had met at school. But once again, he
wondered, why I am here?
Luckily, a nurse had just opened the door to his room and exclaimed
"Oh good, you are awake now, dear," flashing a neat smile to Joey. He,
in turn, started to get up but then he felt a pang from his stomach,
forcing him to only be able to lift his upper body with his shoulders.
"Heh, thanks, say where I am?" Joey asked, cracking a weak smile. "Oh
well, you are at the County Hospital. It appears you got stabbed quite
deeply in the side there," the nurse, pointing to his right side. "It
took a bit of time to stop the blood, you were bleeding out quite
heavily, nearly slipped into a coma on us." Joey looked at the nurse
with shock. "...... I...... almost died?" "Oh no, dear..... it wasn't
too fatal, the staff quickly dressed the wound and got you to this
room for rest and recovery."
"Say, how long have I been here?" Joey asked again to the nurse. She
paused at that, twirling her pen in one hand while holding a clipboard
in the other. "Hmmm, I think 5-6 days, there about. I was just
assigned to you the other day. You have spent the time passing in and
out of consciousness." "Oh I see then. " Joey responded, rather
despondently. But then the nurse stated "Oh yes, you have had a
visitor come by the past 2 days, but you were out of it, but she said
that she would return...." when a knock at the door was heard. What
does she mean by her, Joey wondered. "Oh that must be her, perhaps.
One moment, young man," the nurse uttered as she walked over to the
door prying it open a bit, speaking to the person on the other side in
hushed whispers. Nodding softly, the nurse spoke up. "Alright I'll let
her come in, young man. She has been wondering about you."
The door opened as the nurse shuffled back out to the hallway. Joey
looked up to see who was coming in, and was shocked to see who it was.
A tall mature woman, wearing an elegant business outfit: a white
blouse under a dark blue jacket with navy skirt. Her legs encased in
dark sheer hose, with high heels adorning her feet. But the part Joey
made the most attention was this woman's face: Her shoulder length
dark blonde hair and deep green eyes, he had seen this woman before.
"Mrs. L'Amour...... what are you doing here....." But before Joey
could finish, Vanessa strode over to the bed quickly to place a finger
upon his mouth. "Hush now..... Joey, you must be tired, dear."
Joey, his eyes wide open, realized who this person really was.
"Chloe..... is that you?" he asked calmly towards this older woman.
Vanessa, for a moment, stood back, looking around carefully.
"Yes.....in a manner of speaking, Joey," she replied, giving Joey a
slightly cold and stoic expression. "I take you are remembering what
occurred on Prom Night, I take it?" Joey nodded, as he felt a tinge
from his forehead. "Ah yes, it is coming back to me...." Joey spoke
up, then had to stop as his head began to ache, the memories coming
back to him.......

Joey felt like he was being dragged slightly away from the gym. What
is this pain I am feeling, Joey pondered as he opened his eyes to see
Chloe pulling him along out of the gym towards a safer place, his feet
being dragged slightly along. At least, this person calling themselves
Chloe as he could see her exposed flat chest, with one of her
succulent breasts hanging off her body, her dress torn off from there
but still hanging on around her waist. He could feel Chloe's heavy and

"Say, what is going on...." Joey asked before being stopped by Chloe.
"Stop, Joey, Christ, you are bleeding out. We need to get away so as
to tend to the wound, quickly," Chloe replied back tersely, in a cool
monotone, quite unlike she would talk to him usually.
"I remember your dad coming into the gym, shouting some nonsense about
my dad....then he fired a gun (!) and then the gym went dark."
"Why yes, Joey, and now we are running away for the moment. Not sure
why Morton...I mean Daddy would do that....." Chloe spoke as they made
their way to the main school building.
The two got to the lobby of the main office, where a single light had
been left on. Chloe propped Joey against a wall, as she grabbed a part
of her dress, turning it into bandaging for Joey's wound. Joey looked
down to see a small but deeply red spot on his right side. Oh, he
realized suddenly, that's what the pain is, but how did I get that he
wondered. Chloe walked to him, wrapping part of her dress around his
wound. She cracked a small smile to him, but then she clenched her
chest. "Owww, damn it!" she exclaimed as she grabbed part of her
stockings, tearing it off to wrap around her chest. Ah, whatever
happened, Chloe is hurting as well, Joey thought to himself.
"So, who are you?" Joey posed the question flatly, looking straight at
Chloe. She stared back in shock at first but then her face relaxed.
"Well I suppose there's no hiding anything from you now, Joey Kurtz,"
she remarked casually as she grabbed a chair nearby to sit down next
to Joey. "Oh don't worry, we have time......Katt and Morton should be
holding them off for a bit," Chloe spoke up as she sat down. "Well, to
put it simply, I am not Chloe L'Amour-she doesn't exist, a mere shell.
I am M, a master of disguise unit for the Agency," she spoke up, in a
clearly androgynous voice but with a hidden deeper tone beneath. "Your
father is a well known criminal, as you heard yourself, and I was put
on assignment to find him. I was sent here, by mere chance it would
seem, posing as a foreign transfer student, based on a flimsy hunch.
Well turns out it was more than a hunch," as she looked to Joey who
looked a bit puzzled at what she just told him.
Calming down a bit, Joey asked another question, "So what's with that
getup?" pointing to the loose breast hanging barely from Chloe's
chest, with a torn part of stocking tied around there, to keep it in
place. Chloe glanced down, then sighed. "Yeah I was hoping that you
wouldn't find out..... basically its a skin suit, from head to toe."
Chloe stated plainly. "Another lie eh?" Joey asked, tears in the
corners of his eyes. Chloe noticed, then looked away with a glimmer of
shame on her face. "Yes, it is. I am sorry, but this...." motioning to
her whole body, "is one large forgery." Then cracking a smile, Chloe
continued, "But its part of the job for me, you know?" Joey was
shocked at that comment, so this was all just a job for her...or is it
him?, Joey pondered, he wasn't sure. His feelings were quite blending
together in this moment in a confusing manner.
Joey then replied back, softly but tinged with sadness, "So..... it
was all a lie, a means to an end? Chloe's feelings for me and our time
together?" trying to holding back his tears. Chloe/M then spoke up
again, in a reassuring tone, "Hmm well I did lie about Chloe's life, a
mere fabrication, but trust me when I saw that my feelings for
you....are real," as Chloe/M placed a hand lovingly on her own body
while extending a hand out to Joey. "I remember that wonderful
afternoon in the music room.....that was when I felt we are....in a
matter of speaking..... kindred spirits" as she sighed wistfully. "But
now, we have to find some way to get your father and Roger away from
here, so they don't harm the student body....." before hearing a small
crash.
Chloe looked over to see Katt and Morton striding over to them. Morton
breathing heavily while coming behind Katt. "Try to keep up,
slowpoke!" Katt yelled at Morton as she got over to Chloe and Joey "Oh
dear, what happened to him?" Katt asked to Katt, pointing to Joey.
"He's wounded a bit, but I dressed it temporarily, Katt," Chloe spoke
back and then resumed, "Where are Kurtz and Roger? Or the mophead
twins for that matter?" Katt responded tersely. "Hmmph well the twins
I knocked down with a good judo chop to the face; they are still in
the gym. Be sure to contact the police on them tomorrow, Morton-I am
sure they will love to get those two felons in custody," finishing
that statement off with a laugh.
Morton on the other hand, caught up to them, and speaking with
desperation, "Why did we run? I nearly had my chance there with
finally getting him in my grasp..." as Morton ended up putting his gun
back into his hidden hip holster. "What's he on about?" Joey asked in
a whisper. "I'll tell you some time later but now we......" as they
heard the door open, revealing Kurtz and Roger, who was still in his
Renee disguise. Kurtz was holding the bag of money stolen from the
school, with Renee/Roger in front of him, brandishing her bolt cutter.
But Kurtz also had a gun in his free hand, with some smoke emanating
from it. Ah so that how's Joey got injured, Chloe figured; that Kurtz,
in the confusion of the lights, fired off his gun and accidently shot
Joey by mistake.
Kurtz looked around, spotting Chloe, Joey and their two comrades.
Renee/Roger was just a step in front. "You, bitch!" Renee/Roger
screamed as she strode out with her bolt cutter, ready to take another
stab at Chloe. But then Katt kicked the bold cutter of her hand, then
punched her in the crotch, sending Renee/Roger spinning out onto the
floor. It took a bit of time for Renee/Roger to get back up, as he had
'equipment' down there that a normal girl wouldn't so that hit hurt
more then usually. Still Renee/Roger got up, slowly and with some
struggle. Kurtz wandered over to Renee/Roger, helping up the obviously
fake girl, then handed her his gun. "Here, you might need this,
Roger," as he looked sternly at Chloe and her posse, now standing in
front of the door leading out to the parking lot of the school.
"Now, now, if you let us leave, there will no trouble," Kurtz stated
plainly, laying down the terms it would seem. But Morton spoke up
defiantly, "Hey, how about no-you turn yourself in, and return that
money that would be nice, and it would likely be the better outcome,"
though as he ended that statement, he was feeling a small twitching in
his knees. Chloe inwardly groaned at that, dang it Morton don't be a
hero here, she thought. Katt stood at the ready, perhaps to kick
Kurtz. Heh, that would be like kicking a brick wall, Chloe noted to
herself jokingly.
But then Joey stepped, though hobbling, in front of Chloe and the
others, standing between them and Kurtz. "I don't know much, but Dad,
please...." But he was struggling to get the words out; he was fading
fast. Chloe, noticing this, made sure to keep him steady. "Huh, never
thought that you would turn on me....son," Kurtz stated gravely. Chloe
looked on with shock, but then Joey responded, "Well, I can't say I
ever was on your side, Dad. All those times you and the guys would go
on 'trips', leaving me to fend for myself. I didn't say anything,
never bothered to ask, but then on Black Friday I did hit me, quite
literally in a sense," eliciting a sad chuckle from him. Chloe smiled
at that remark, oh good she thought the better nature of Joey shone
through.
"Hmm, well then, I guess we have no choice then. Roger......" Kurtz
spoke again but before he could finish a gunshot rang out briefly.
Chloe, Katt and Morton watched in shock as smoke fizzled out from a
gun, which ended up in Roger's other hand. "Oho, now where did this
come from, I wonder?" Chloe noticed that Renee's purse was slightly
opened, revealing just enough space for not just a hand bolt cutter
but also a gun. But it was Joey who stared in horror as he spoke
softly, "Dad...." as he saw, just as the others, a big gaping hole in
Kurtz's chest, right near the heart. Blood was a trickling stream down
his chest, and he only remark with a 'Oh....' before collapsing to his
knees, then a brief sudden thud as his body hit the cold hard floor,
slumped onto one side.
"Yeah, he was just a means to an end, for me....and my client," Roger
stated coldly as he held the gun in Renee's smooth hand, smoke seeping
out from it. Then as he started to withdraw it back into Renee's
purse, Morton shot back, Roger's gun falling into the floor. "Ow, that
hurts, you bastard!" Roger uttered as he clutched that hand, now
dripping with some blood. He then ran out, pushing the door out to the
front parking lot for the school, while Morton tried to fire off
another bullet but missed. Roger dashed out quickly, as well as he
could in Renee's high heels and dress. "Morton, that's enough, look
the money bag!" Katt spoke up, pointing to the bag lying down by
Kurtz's body. "Let's not worry about Roger, we got other issues."
Morton, looking over, sees Chloe struggling to keep Joey up but it was
clear that he was fading fast. Well, that and Ed Kurtz's body was also
another matter to tend to.
Katt walked back over to Chloe and Joey, and whispered into Chloe's
ear, "We need to get this cleaned up.....quickly and discreetly."
Chloe nodded. "Alright, do what you must, Katt." Nodding back, Katt
commanded, "Alright, I will be heading back to the dance, make sure no
one noticed this. Morton, call up the Agency-we needed a cleanup crew
here like 5 minutes ago. Chloe, tend to Joey-get him to a safe place
soon."
"On it, Katt," Morton stated as he pulled out a phone, punching in a
call to the Agency. "Hello, yes, this is Renard-we need cleanup here
ASAP.....yes I will get you the address...." as Chloe tried to keep
Joey up. "Joey....stay with me.....please......" as his eyes fluttered
open and close before finally closing......
"So, it all came back to you, eh...."
Joey then jolted himself back to the present, where he was still
laying in the bed with Vanessa (really M) L'Amour standing by the bed,
looking concerned. Joey shook his head a bit, taking some time to
register it. "Ah yes, it is."
"So what happened after I went unconscious?" Joey asked as he didn't
remember past that point. Vanessa looked back and forth, then sighing
heavily, replied, "Well Katt went to make sure the dance continued on,
which thankfully it was. Morton called in the 'Cleanup Crew' to deal
with Kurtz's body and return the money back to the school safe."
"But what about Renee...and Roger?" Joey asked again. "Well we did
find Renee in a warehouse outside of town, barely alive it seemed.
Roger, regrettably, fled the scene and we don't know where he went,
but I am certain 'they' will find him. Not sure what he meant by 'his
client' but I reckon he was part of some other nefarious scheme that
your father was involved with." Joey nodded back, then said "Well
about me....about us?" in a pleading tone towards Vanessa. "Well the
Chloe suit got damaged, so I am wearing this one. If anyone asks, you
can say I was just some visitor," Vanessa shrugging her shoulders a
bit. "But....." Joey began but got interrupted by Vanessa. "I placed a
call to the school, explaining Chloe had to leave to go back home to
France. She will get her diploma in absentia." Dang they have all the
bases covered, Joey thought. "So, I won't see Chloe again, right?"
Joey asked, despondently. Vanessa looked at him again, and spoke back,
"Yeah.....the mission is over, time for me to move on to the next
case."
"Oh.... I see then...." Joey replied back, trying to hold back the
tears. "Oh cheer up, Joey, you will that special someone, some day,"
Vanessa offered as consolation advice, even pulling out a tissue out
from her hand purse, giving it to Joey. "But I won't ever forget you,
Chloe. I truly enjoyed my time with you," Joey stated, beaming a weak
smile. Vanessa/M was taken aback by that, but responded, "Yes I did
too," smiling back at Joey. Vanessa leaned in, only to give Joey a
peck on the forehead. "Maybe, some day, we shall meet again....."
Vanessa whispered, almost seductively, into Joey's ear.
She then started to walk out the door when Joey called out, "Thank
you, once again, thank you." Vanessa looked back, then beamed a clear
smile and gave a thumbs up back before walking out the door. It was
then that Claire entered, nearly pushing her way into the room. "Oh
Joey are you OK..... oh sorry ma'am," as she rushed to Joey's bedside.
"Oh I am doing alright, Claire, thanks," Joey replied as he watched
Vanessa walk out of sight down the hospital corridor. I am sure things
will work out, Joey thought as Claire asked him, "Say who was that?"
Joey waved it off, stating, "Oh just a representative from school.....
nothing more, Claire." The two continue their conversation. Vanessa
briefly looked back, and smiled. Yes indeed, things will work out in
the end, she thought.
Vanessa made her way back to the car where Katt was sitting at the
wheel, waiting for her. Vanessa got back in, then Katt leaned in for a
surprise kiss. "What the...." Vanessa exclaimed only to be stopped by
Katt uttering the words, "Well then that's a surprise eh?" before
chuckling. "Anyway, you said your goodbyes. Now perhaps we can get
down to business..." as Katt patted Vanessa's bosom, eliciting a
slight moan from her. "Oi, stop that, Katt," Vanessa shouted. "Well we
need to find that Roger guy....." But then Katt stopped her again.
"Nah that can come later, I am sure the Agency will follow up, heard
from Morton they are on that now." She then glanced at Vanessa and
stated, "Say, don't we go down to the south of France? I am sure my
parents would love to see me and.... my girlfriend." Vanessa looked at
her with some shock, but smiled and stated back, "Well I am sure I can
accomodate that, Katt," as the two drove off.

A cargo van driver was driving along the highway just outside of
Robertsonburg, trying in vain to get back to the warehouse in the next
city over in time to get home. But as he was pulling out onto the next
exit, he spotted a young woman. An attractive one, he noted. She was
wearing a crimson silk dress, exposing a bit of skin, much to his
delight. But he noted her lovely face-long flowing auburn hair and
sparkling green eyes adorned her lovely face, with impeccable makeup.
She was noting with a gesture indicating she was hitchhiking, so he
stopped and pulled over to the side of the road.
"Say, lassie, whats wrong?" he asked with a note of concern, but
leering over her body. The girl noticed him, then after cracking a
smile, adopted a look of panged fear and confusion. "Oh why, I am a
lost little lamb," she uttered sadly in a southern accent. "I was at a
party some days ago but I must have gotten drunk and winded up out
here. I have no phone and I must get back to a safe place. Think you
can help me, dear sir?" she asked in a pleading tone, giving the truck
driver the puppy eyes treatment. Oh man she is hot, but she needs
help, the driver thought, well might be good for a quickie, he grinned
to himself. "Why sure, miss....."
"Oh my manners, I am Rori.....Rori Scarlett." She extended a hand to
him, prompting him to get her into the passenger seat. He noticed her
other hand was bandaged up.
"Oh, pardon me, it seems my hand got scraped up in the time I have
wandering around, sorry," as she winced a bit in pain. "Oh that's
alright, I got some proper wrapping for that, miss. Come on in." As
she got in, she flashed a malicious smile. Oh I swear, she thought, I
will get my revenge. But once she got in, she stated to the driver,
"Say where's the nearest hotel? I think I may need a shower.....and
some relaxing pleasure." He was taken aback by that, damn she must
have kind of mind reader. "Well if you are legal...." he stated before
one of her elegant fingers placed on his mouth. "Oh yes, sir, I am
perfectly legal," as she laughed with him as they made their way out
to the port city. Oh yes, she thought it will be pleasure alright, but
not for you, she grinned evilly.
