Making Melanie an offer – Jeremiah Winslow
As we arrived at the office, Melanie Johnston greeted us with hugs and smiles. Her staff was waiting for us in the conference room, most of them looked a little nervous, but a couple of them were all smiles.
I thought to myself, “The ones with smiles are the ones that Melanie relied on most as her inner circle.” As we entered the conference room, it went silent.
Melanie looked at me and then Aimee, “Which one of you is going to be speaking to my staff?”
I stepped up and said, “Since I was the one who approached and spoke to the board of directors with this plan, I will present their offer.” I looked around the conference room and saw that there were eight people plus Melanie.
Melanie took a seat at the left side of Aimee. I smiled looking at them and wondered if this meant anything.
I turned to the room, smiled and said, “I see some apprehension around the table. I know that change is a little unnerving and some, like me, try and avoid it. Here is what Aimee presented to Melanie, just last night.”
I explained, “You may have heard, we had some issues in our legal department that required me stepping in and assisting our board of directors. When I sold the company to them, I agreed to a five year contract to be available as a consultant. That issue has been resolved and now Aimee has been appointed manager of the legal firm by the board of directors.”
“This was not my choice. I requested her to turn in her resignation as this was all going down. But, since all of the fifteen remaining people were polled for their choice of a new manager from their ranks, 11 votes went to Aimee and the remaining four went to the dismissed manager’s number one, Aimee was offered and temporarily accepted the position. Turns out the four, are loyal to the manager due to lifestyle choices, they were told that they could apply for the jobs they currently had and could join the other interviewee’s for the selection process.”
“Aimee made the decision not to include them in the process and not even interview them as they were just as abusive as their manager had been. So here we are with the plan I worked out with the board and approved by the same board. Last night Aimee outlined the plan to Melanie and she accepted with the agreement that all of you, her existing staff, accept our offer.”
“Here it is, Winslow Industries is requesting to purchase this legal firm and merge your legal office with ours. Melanie will be the new manager and Aimee will step down as soon as Melanie is up speed with what is already in work. I just made Melanie the cash offer for the purchase of her firm and she has to accept it, again, pending your approval.”
“I will go around the room for your responses and any questions you may have. I started with the person to Melanie’s left. She said she would accept, the next four said they would accept number six had a question.”
She asked, “What about pay and benefit packages.” I looked her in the eye and smiled. She followed up by saying, “I am a single mom and don’t want to disrupt or place a burden on my children, they are in high school and very plugged in socially and athletically.”
I smiled, looked back at her and said, “What about a very high possibility of a pretty substantial raise in pay and full medical coverage as offered to all of our employees.”
I asked Aimee, “Which medical plan do you have and what portion of your medical package do you pay for and how much.”
Aimee said, “I have the PPO premium package and pay approximately $250 per month as my portion.”
I thanked her and looked back at the questioner and asked, “Is that acceptable to you?” I noticed a real smile that reached her eyes.
She said, “Really, a raise and lower cost for top of the line insurance. I would become your companies slave for that.”
Melanie broke out laughing hysterically. When she regained her composure, she said, “You had better be careful what you ask for. You never know when you will get it.”
There was relaxed laughter all around the room.
I looked at next person and he nodded his head and the last just said, “Sign me up.”
I looked at Melanie and said, “Winslow Industries would like to offer you eleven million dollars for your firm. This offer is to include your existing case load and the intellectual property of your staff, do you accept their offer?”
Melanie’s chin fell to her smallish chest and nodded her head.
I then asked, “Melanie, do you have anything to say to your staff?”
She replied, “I accept the offer if there are checks cut for one million dollars to each of my staff and the remainder to me. All of them less taxes of course.”
For a moment, you could hear a pin drop, and then as what she said began to sink in, everyone in the room started to laugh and ask questions over each other. They couldn’t believe what they were hearing. I slammed my fist on the table as a gavel and said, “This meeting is adjourned. That is for everyone except me, Aimee, and Melanie.”
The woman who offered to be a slave for the package offered came over and sat next to Melanie and asked, “May I talk to you in private.”
Melanie replied, “Unless it is very private, they really don’t need to leave.”
Melanie introduced her, “This is Morgan, please feel free ask me or us anything you would like.”
To Melanie, Morgan said, “When I jokingly said something about becoming a slave, you said that I should be careful what I ask for. What did you mean when you said that?”
Melanie smiled and said, “I can give you a better answer if you explain where your question comes from. Then I will be able to fully answer your question?”
Morgan shyly said as looked at me, “My husband was under the influence of that bastard you guys exposed and had arrested yesterday and was pressuring me join them, but I wanted nothing to do with it. When he become abusive of me and our children, I told him if he didn’t back off, I was leaving him. He started yelling at me and slapped me across the face and said I was his property and not going anywhere. Then he added that I was also to be his master’s slave. A couple of days ago my children and I moved into a hotel and my attorney is drawing up divorce papers as we speak. They aren’t even going to school right now so he can’t show up and take them.”
“When his master was arrested, he went nuts saying he was going to get even with the bastards who put his master in jail. I was thinking about that and it kind of just slipped out. I am real sorry for even bringing it up.”
Morgan turned to me and asked, “Would you mind closing the door?”
I closed the door and returned to the table sitting in my original place.
I said, “Melanie, everything we discuss here is for our ears only, no one else’s. Do you agree Morgan?”
Morgan nodded her head.
Melanie said, “Master, would you like to explain or should I?”
I answered, “Please let Aimee explain it to her.”
Aimee looked at me and said, “Yes Master.”
With that Morgan’s eyes turned into saucers. Aimee reached out and touched her arm saying, “Morgan it is not as you think. Your husband and the man he was owned by, and I mean that in the strictest since of the word. This man you say your husband was infatuated with, actually controlled your husband through fear and threats of abuse, which he doled out at his whim. To us, a Master is someone we please not because we have to, but because we choose to and want to. Can you look at my collar and read what is says.”
Morgan did as asked and audibly gasped, “It says you are Property of Jeremiah Winslow, if you are not his slave, how can you be his property?”
Aimee, “I wear this collar because I want to or better yet, I chose to wear this collar. The real big difference is that I can remove this collar anytime I want too. The deal is that he may use me anyway he wants, anywhere he wants, anytime he wants. And if I don’t want him to, I have the right to say no. But, if I say no, I may have to take off his collar and give it back to him or accept some sort of pre agreed to discipline. If I decide not to take the discipline, then I am no longer his by my choice, I am my own person and only responsible to myself. It also means I don’t trust him anymore. Our bond is now broken. Everything we do is based on trust and respect, not fear and intimidation. In other words, I trust him to know exactly what I want and have the respect for him to do whatever it is he asks me to do. There are times that I don’t even know what my desires are until I do what is requested of me.”
Aimee continued, “If I tell him no, I am telling him that I no longer trust him or his judgment and our relationship is now over. Do you understand what I am saying?”
Morgan nodded her head and said, “Yes.”
Aimee asked Morgan, “Do you any other questions.”
Morgan asked, “Why all the use of Master and I suppose Mistress.”
Aimee answered, “We are part of an organization that issues franchises so that people will be required to follow a strict code of ethics within the BDSM environment.”
Morgan leaned back in her chair and said BDSM to herself as if it were a bad word. Morgan said, “Aimee that is some pretty disgusting stuff and a horrible way to live.”
Aimee explained, “Morgan, you are quite right in the way your husband and his Master choose to live it. There is also a way to live it through choice with trust and respect, and that is how we choose to live. The way I look at it is more like the love we have for our children. When they are doing what they are expected to do or go beyond what is expected, you reward them. But, if they disobey and disrespect you, then you have to punish them. Morgan laughed and said, Oh ... my ... god yes.”
Aimee smiled at Morgan, “And when your husband asks you to do something and you do not do it, does he punish you?”
Morgan replied, “He better not. But, right now he probably would like he did the other night. That was not in a very nice way and one of the reasons we are in a hotel.”
Aimee smiled and said, “That was a pretty bad example, I’ll just say that our lifestyle does allow for discipline to be used. But, not like you would think. It is agreed upon between Master / Mistress and the one collared.”
Morgan asked, “Can you be a little clearer in regards to what you are beating around the bush about.”
I then inserted by asking Aimee, “Tell Morgan about Sunday afternoon.”
Aimee asked, “In how much detail are you insinuating Master.
I suggested, “Aimee, you don’t have to get all graphic, but I believe Morgan is mature enough to handle an overview.”
Morgan looked at him with questioning eyes and Aimee intercepted his answer by saying, “Morgan, my girls and I got our asses whipped with a leather paddle. Actually the way it happened was the Master whipped mine, I whipped Lily’s and Lily whipped Natalie’s.”
Shocked, Morgan asked, “Really, you’ve got to be kidding me.”
Aimee laughed and said, “I am not kidding you, but I will tell you that we all dissevered it.
Morgan laughed and asked, “What did you do, rob a bank?”
Aimee smiled, “Not really, but you need to understand, at the time I took his collar I agreed to do as he wished me to do. Remember anything, anytime, anywhere. I won’t go into specifics but I will tell you that after my ass got whipped he took care of me so well that I had an orgasm so strong and enjoyable, I passed out completely. Aimee is in the process of putting a team of security experts together for her protection and that of the organization. I want to be a part of that too. I will be her legal counsel and one of her submissive’. The Master demands this of everyone on the team.”
Morgan asked Melanie, “And you would go with this anything, anywhere, anytime philosophy.”
Melanie smiled and replied, “I will gladly go along with it. You have to see they way Aimee’s girls look at her and act toward her leadership. When I arrived at their house, Aimee called her girls and asked them to take their positions. They immediately removed what little clothing they had on, folded it and kneeled down in front of the fireplace. An empty place directly front center with Lily, then Natalie, and then Traci lined up to the left of the empty space.
Morgan asked, “Why highlight the off center positioning?”
Aimee replied, “The empty place is mine for when the Master asked us all to assume our positions.”
Morgan shook her head in wonder, and then asked, “Everything is based on trust and respect.”
Aimee spoke up saying, “Morgan, it is something you need to experience to fully understand. When you get things settled with your husband, please take an evening and come visit us just to see how we live. It may interest you enough that you want to learn more.”
Morgan replied asking, “Aimee, you won’t tie me up to the bed or something like that, would you?”
Aimee smiled and replied, “I could if you want me to tie you to the bed. Other than that, I won’t tie you to the bed.”
Everyone laughed and then Jeremiah stood and told Aimee, “We need to move on as I still have to meet with the Board of Directors. I need to let them know that everything has been agreed too and that it would take about a week to document and approve everything to bring this merger together. I also suggested that Melanie bring her staff over to Aimee’s office for a meet and greet. We will provide lunch and let everyone sit around, talk, and start to become comfortable with each other.”
Morgan then asked, “Aimee is your offer to come over and visit real?”
Aimee answered, “It is, you and your children are also welcome in our home anytime you would like to visit.”
Morgan said, “I can visit anytime and you are willing to let me. My children are seniors in high school. They are twins and already 18. I don’t really worry about them, but my husband was getting on my son about being more in command at home and treating our daughter like some slut at a club. We really had a very loud argument one night when he wanted to take our daughter with him to one of their gatherings and I told him no, no way was she going with him. That has a lot to do with why we are in a hotel, hiding out from him.”
I received an email on my phone and after reading it, picked up my phone and called the commander of the Navy Seals. When the Commander answered I asked one question, “I have an urgent need for the two people Aimee selected to be at my home tonight, can you make that happen?” I listened to his answer and explained to him, “We have an urgent security issue at this time and if you get them leave until Friday, it would solve an issue that just came up. We talked some more and he said, “I will call you back within the hour.” I thanked him and hung up.
Aimee asked, “What was going on?” Though I could tell she already suspected what was going on.
I looked at Morgan, “You need to move into my house as soon as possible?”
Morgan asked, “What about the way you live?”
I explained to her, “Your children aren’t children anymore and should be able to handle anything that happens. Their safety is more important than anything else. I just received an email that your husband’s master was released from jail a little while ago. One of his people posted his bail and he is not a happy master.”
Your husband picked him up from the jail. He was overheard saying, “Master, I have a family problem and need your help.”
I stated, “This guy is a really bad person with deep pockets and a long reach. The home I live in, was bought by me, but is being rented by me from a friend of mine back east, for confidentiality purposes. It would be impossible for him to track me down because all utilities are also in his name. I send him enough money every month to take care of everything for me. He will know where you are within an hour or so after he starts to help husband find you, if he hasn’t already done so.”
“You need to leave now and get your children to my house for all of your safety. Do not take the time to check out or gather your stuff. Turn off your phones and leave them off until I can get you new ones that are not traceable back to you.”
Aimee asked, “Morgan, do you understand what could happen if they find you?”
Morgan replied, “I left because I overheard him tell someone on the phone that he was going to make us his slaves.”
