The good thing about LobsterTube.com is that it makes it super easy to browse a bunch of porn sites at once. All the videos have thumbnails previewing what kind of shit you’re getting yourself into, but once you click on the link you’ll be sent to a whole different website that actually hosts the videos.
This can be really fucking annoying, which is why Lobstertube tries to keep things as simple as possible. First, you’ll see no ads around. I think Lobstertube only exists to try to promote other porn sites in their network, so it’s great to browse without having to deal with popups and other bullshit.
Another good feature is that Lobstertube always shows you where the video is hosted. It won’t suddenly send you to a place with a thousand popups and virus download request buttons like some of the shitstains out there. Generally, the videos come from popular and reputable places.
Overall, Lobstertube is a great option for browsing porn and finding content from throughout the web. The site features hundreds of categories, casting a wide net across all the different types of porn out there, while also having enough videos to support them all.
It’s colored like a lobster
Lobstertube has a pretty standard layout that is similar to other tube sites. The main page features the search bar, plus the main categories which include Mom, Young, Beauty, Wife, and a whole lot more. On the left side is a list of the most popular sex categories, starting from 10+ Inch Cock (nohomo).
One link to check out on the left is “Most popular videos”. You’ll find videos of some truly fine ass bitches on this list. Again, keep in mind though that all the videos link outside of Lobstertube, so you may have to deal with some bullshit on the host site even though Lobstertube is really clean. I got more mileage from the most popular videos section than browsing the categories, personally.
The mobile layout is just as good as the desktop version. It’s basically the same thing, with a main search bar and categories to browse at maximum speed. The search bar also lets you conveniently pick between straight, gay, and shemale content, so you don’t have to filter through some bullshit just to bust a nut. You don’t have to worry about ads on the mobile site either.
The Google of Porn Videos
The content is just as good and plentiful as all the porn sites combined, which is basically what Lobstertube is. You’ll find a ton of porn from sites such as Redtube, Xhamster, KeezMovies, etc.
As I had mentioned, one good feature in Lobstertube is that each video thumbnail also shows what the host website is. This is important because it lets you dodge the shady sites or sites that you don’t like for whatever reason. Having said that, I will say that most of the links are to reputable sites that won’t give you viruses and other bullshit like that.
I never really worried about Lobstertube hosting some shady virus site, especially because Lobstertube seems to be a very professional operation. Lots of government regulation notices and shit like that. It’s also part of a pretty big porno network.
There is a ridiculous number of categories…actually too many to properly navigate. The “popular sex categories” is actually like 300 fucking categories! You have to appreciate a site that categorizes “urethra” videos, which uh…I absolutely do not recommend you check out unless you are truly in a dark place…
What I Like
Sites like Lobstertube are great for their selection and lack of ads. Over 46 million videos means that even I won’t have enough time to jerk through them all. The videos cover a big range of categories, and it definitely beats browsing other porn sites individually.
The beautiful thing about Lobstertube is that it actually has zero ads, unless you count the links to other members in the network. This makes it a fantastic “home base” of porno to browse from, and the site does a good job of featuring great content in the front page of each category.
The layout is very simple and easy on the eyes. The color scheme and logo look a little cheap and outdated, but also doesn’t get in the way of you and your porno.
The main page also features a menu bar, although I found this thing utterly useless. It includes links to the popular videos and the new videos, followed by thirteen links to all of the other porn sites on the network. Don’t even bother with the menu bar.
I do, however, have to give a ton of credit to the site’s overall performance. Everything is clean and lag-free, which is just too rare in the porno internet world. I never got frustrated or annoyed, even when forced to go to the host site for my videos. Very crisp.
What I hate
Obviously, the main issue I have with sites like Lobstertube is that they don’t host any actual content. We come to Lobstertube not because it has great videos, but because it leeches great videos from other websites. Since Lobstertube doesn’t have any ads, I’ll consider it a public service.
Another issue is that the videos are just too broad. Sure, there are millions of videos, but if you cut out the gay and shemale shit, how many are left? If you are into something specific, you may be better off finding a porn site that specifically caters to what you like, rather than this kind of “catch-all” porn site that just shotguns a bazillion videos at you and asks you what you want.
I think the categories could also use some trimming. A “popular sex categories” section shouldn’t list every goddamn category known to mankind (and some unknown). Do people seriously search for shit like PAWG (Phat Ass White Girl), or “penis pump”? I fucking hope not...
The Lobster needs some grooming
Like with so many porn sites I review, I think Lobstertube could use an update to its layout and logo. The Lobster mascot is so fucking….who the fuck thinks about lobsters and porn at the same time? Lobsters are one of the most unsexiest creatures on this cursed planet. Those pinchers will chop your dick off for fuck’s sake.
I also think Lobstertube would benefit from organizing its videos by most viewed, as well as implementing a community and rating system. The only way to know what the best videos are is through the “most popular videos”, but the website doesn’t really show you how many views there are. I have a feeling they just get paid to feature certain videos on this page.
Typically, a site like this would have a user registration system that lets people favorite videos, rate videos, and leave comments. For LobsterTube, I guess this doesn’t work too well because every video thumbnail links directly to the host website, rather than providing a portal. But a user community could help a place like this.
Another thing is that there isn’t anything truly “special” about LobsterTube. Obviously, the site doesn’t have unique content, but it also doesn’t really stand out in any way. The owners may want to cook up some unique features that keep users coming back other than just 3rd party porn.
Conclusion
Lobstertube is the Mandingo of tube sites, with videos collected from across the internet. It’s annoying that every video is hosted off-site, meaning you’ll be opening a new link every goddamn time you want to watch a video, but Lobstertube tries to make up for it with zero ads and easy navigation.
As I continue to grow as a black belt of porno, I find these types of mass aggregator sites less attractive. I find that sites specializing in specific niches usually have better content, and this kind of place is better suited for a quickie or emergency session rather than a nice thorough jerk.
Lobstertube is part of adultwebmasternet.com. This is a traffic network for tube sites where other porn sites actually buy traffic from Lobstertube and other sites on the network by linking their videos. I don’t get how effective this really is since the user can just search the videos they want but it’s worth mentioning.
At the end of the day though, Lobstertube is a great option when you’re looking for new videos and don’t have time to browse a bunch of different sites for that perfect nut. But seriously, why the fuck did they name it after lobsters?
