The cold Chicago air was a jarring but welcome feeling for Chloe Bennet. Chloe had slept for almost the entire length of her four hour flight, LAX to ORD. “That’s me!” Chloe said, her voice kind if not a little groggy from her long nap. She was quickly aware of the stark difference in dress between the two of them. Chloe was wearing comfortable sweats and a hoody for her lengthy flight, and didn’t bother with makeup. While the energetic blonde before her wore a pencil skirt, heals, and a cute sweater. “I uh, love your outfit,” Chloe said with a hint of embarrassment.
Lindsay was beginning to open the trunk, and looked back over Chloe’s leisure attire with a smile, “Girl, I’d be wearing the same thing if I had a long flight.” Chloe smiled back, and the two shared a laugh as Lindsay quickly loaded Chloe’s many bags into the trunk.
Chloe took her seat in the back and the two young women set off toward her destination. She was visiting her parents at their home in the suburbs of Chicago. In the first few minutes of their trip, Chloe noticed that the slender blonde liked to keep her car quite toasty. She decided to remove her hoody instead of bothering Lindsay to change the heat. As she pulled it off over her head, Chloe revealed her tight, black tank top underneath. The actress had forgotten her decision to go braless for her flight in an effort to achieve maximum comfort.
Lindsay noticed her tanned passenger stripping, and eyed Chloe’s slightly bared, athletic upper body through the rear view mirror. She noticed the woman’s lack of bra quickly by the sight of her perky nipples poking through her thin tank top. Lindsay caught herself mindlessly biting one side of her lower lip at the sight of the oddly familiar looking beauty, and quickly snapped her eyes back to the road. “So, what do you do, Chloe? What brings you to the Windy City?”
“I’m an actress actually, on an ABC show, Marvel’s Agents of Shield. I’m celebrating my birthday with my family this weekend! Set wrapped sooner than expected so I decided to come home early to surprise them.” There was excitement now in Chloe’s voice. She hadn’t seen her parents or brothers in a few months now because of her busy schedule.
“Oh My God! That’s where I know you from! You’re amazing!” Lindsay’s eyes widened with her realization. “I have one of your shirts! Fight like a Girl!” The young blonde struggled to keep her eyes on the road. She couldn’t believe the woman she had just shamelessly ogled was a famous actress.
“Oh wow! Thanks so much!” Chloe’s million dollar smile stretched across her face. She still wasn’t used to people recognizing her. The young actress sat forward in her seat, excited to talk to a fan of her work.
Lindsay perked up further, nearly bouncing in her seat, “God, with that face of course you’re an actress. You’re stunning! And your body… I bet you have to train pretty hard for the show. There isn’t an ugly inch on you!”
Chloe blushed and looked down at herself. “Thanks,” she squeaked, a bit embarrassed of the compliment. “Ugh, I didn’t realize building muscle would shrink my boobs, though.” Chloe cupped her hands under her breasts and raised and lowered them slightly with a frown. “I swear they used to be bigger.”
“Come on Chloe, those are perfect.” Lindsay looked back momentarily to get a better look at the star. “I bet they’d fill up a set of hands nicely. There’s nothing wrong with being a little petite. Besides, you more than make up for it with that booty. Don’t think I didn’t notice earlier.” Lindsay stole another glance at her celebrity passenger through the rear mirror.
Chloe’s cheeks turned a deeper shade of pink and she laughed a bit awkwardly. Surely she wouldn’t be having this conversation with a strange man, but she felt comfortable enough with another woman roughly her age. Though, she didn’t really know how to respond. “I bet the boys line up down the street for a look at you.” Chloe admitted to herself that Lindsay had a great body.
“Oh, I’ve received a few free drinks in my time. From guys and girls, believe it or not.” Lindsay met Chloe’s eyes in the mirror with a sly smile.
“I bet,” Chloe broke her gaze away. She was beginning to feel a bit awkward and uncomfortable. Was this girl hitting on her?
Lindsay read Chloe’s shift in body language and decided to change the subject. “Uh, so tell me about your family, Chloe.” She tried hard not to look over at the gorgeous woman in the back seat.
“Well, my parents are pretty successful. My dad is an investor and my mom is a doctor. They’re involved in some pretty great charities. I have three biological brothers and three foster brothers. You can imagine how crazy it was, growing up with six brothers in the house.” Chloe relaxed a bit and tried to enjoy the conversation with the focus now off of her body.
The two young women chatted for the next thirty minutes or so until they reached a rather nice part of the suburbs just outside the city. “We’re getting close. Thanks for the ride, Lindsay. It was a lot of fun talking with you.” Chloe began to gather her purse and hoody in the back seat.
“Oh course! No problem. If you’re going to be in town for a while I’ll be driving, so maybe I could drive you somewhere again.” Lindsay pulled the car up to the curb next to a beautiful, large house. “Wow, you weren’t kidding Chloe. This place is gorgeous.”
The bubbly blonde Uber driver stepped out of the car and came around to let Chloe out of the two door buggy. “Thanks,” Chloe got out and the two walked to the trunk to retrieve her luggage. Lindsay was kind enough to assist her with bringing her bags up to the front door. “Hey, thanks again Lindsay. You’re probably the best Uber driver I’ve ever had. Why don’t you just give me your number and I could call you directly if I need a ride this week?”
It took all of the young woman’s energy to just remain standing she was so excited. Lindsay couldn’t believe that Chloe Bennet liked her enough ask. “Ye-Yeah of course! That’d be great!” She tore her phone from her back pocket with shaky hands. “Can I get a picture with you first?”
“Yeah, sounds good.” Chloe leaned into the elated blonde and smiled wide for the camera. Lindsay held her phone at a high angle in an effort to see down as much of the olive toned star’s shirt as she could before snapping the picture. The Uber driver was grinning ear to ear as Chloe gave her her phone number. “Hey, before you go…” Chloe reached into her purse and pulled out two, one hundred dollar bills and handed them to Lindsay. “…for being so cool.”
Lindsay just stood there and gaped for a moment, “Oh my god. You’re the best Chloe.” She took the generous tip and quickly wrapped the star in a big hug. “Call me any time, you hear. I’ll be around.” The bouncing blonde stepped away from her moment-too-long hug and smiled, “Happy Birthday by the way.” She turned and nearly ran to her car in her excitement.
Chloe waved and turned to the front door with a smile. Her vacation was finally getting started. No more work. No more busy schedules. It was her birthday in three days. Over the next week she planned to relax hard and party harder. Chloe couldn’t wait to see all of her old friends and her wonderful family. She withdrew her key from within her purse and slipped one into the door and turned the key.
