After their marriage Nikki the estranged daughter of old world nobility
and David a successful app designer have fallen victim to Old World
Forces when Nikki's father and brother are killed in a mysterious car
accident. Nikki, now Nike, due to an ancient family spell, must take his
place as Duke Luga while David, now Bree, assumes the role of submissive
trophy wife. The happy couple are soon swept up in a 500 year old war.
Magic and romance abound as Bree must learn not only how to be a woman,
but how to survive in a world she never knew existed.

Nike and Bree's flight arrived on time at Charlotte Douglas Airport and
as they were exiting the plane a man entering the aisle pushed between
Bree and Nike just as the attendant was saying goodbye to the Passengers.
Bree noticed how the young woman leaned over saying goodbye to Nick and
realized she was giving Nick a good look at her breasts. Bree then
thought 'we need to get his wedding ring resized soon.'
Nike then waited for Bree and put his arm around her in front of the
attendant. Bree thought, 'Nike is telling little miss booby flasher, "No
Thanks, I have what I want!" I love Nike so much'. As Nike and Bree
walked to the to the end of the concourse, Nike let his hand slide down

As they exited the gate Bree spotting the restrooms and told Nike she
needed to freshen up while Nike looked for Laz, and she would meet him at
the Luggage pick up. Nike went and saw one of Laz's people standing
holding a sign saying, "Georef Luga." A look of panic ran over Nike's
face and he ran back to the restrooms. He looked around for Bree and not
seeing her knocked on the door.
"Bree are you all right?"
Bree yell, "Yeah, just a minute Nike!"
She finished applying her lipstick and quickly put her compact back in
her bag and then heard the African American woman next to her say, "Fuck
gurl, you don't need to rush! As good as you look, he'll wait."
Bree giggled, "You haven't seen him."
The other woman moved to the door and peeked out preventing Bree from
exiting. "MMMM UNH gurl you right, that is one of the best looking white
boys I've seen."
Bree laughed, "Ain't he now!" and exited the restroom.
Nike saw Bree coming out of the restroom and went to her and took her arm
walking quickly away from the luggage area.
"What's wrong?"
Nike just shook his head and led her into the airport coffee shop and sat
her in a booth before sliding into the seat across from her. Nick in a
hushed voice said, "Bree, we've got a problem. One of Laz's people is by
luggage pickup holding a sign that has "Georef Luga" on it. "Georef Luga"
is my family's secret code to hide and be ready to fight or run. Laz is
warning us that there are people here "Shrooms" looking for us."
Bree remembered what Nick had told her about the war that was going on
between the Vines and the Shrooms and asked, "Should we be out here in
the open then?"
Nick shook his head. "No, think about it, they could not know what we
look like since our transformation. They're probably just watching to
see who Laz picks up." Nick looked down at the table and mournfully
spoke. "Bree I am so sorry to make you a part of this, the Shrooms have
not come after my family in over 500 years. They were always afraid of
our retaliation against their leadership. Both sides know who the other
side's leaders are, and for centuries fear of mutual destruction has kept
my family safe. Something must have happened to heat it up. The battle
has been more like the Cold War influencing governments, economies, and
media. I never thought that a daughter, disowned by her Duke father,
would even be on their radar."
Nick looked up from the table and was shocked at what he saw, his
submissive little trophy wife had morphed into a very angry she-tiger.
Nick felt a hard painful kick to his shin and Bree hissed, "If I ever
hear you say you were sorry for marrying me again, I will kick you much
higher. Right in those new balls that you're ignoring right now. My

Nike was surprised at the force and subdued intensity of his wife's
scolding words and he actually thought he saw sky blue electricity arc
from her eyes. Then Bree in an even and controlled tone said, "Okay, so
they don't know what we look like, so what do we do? Do we call Laz for
instructions or do we just walk out and catch a cab? And if so where?
Nick, you were always the leader in out relationship, even when you were
the woman, so your loving wife wonders why, you just don't, FUCKING
LEAD!"
Bree's words were like a drug to Nike they put his mind and emotions in
hyper drive. He quickly assessed what their options were, and what
dangers they faced, and their best course of action.
"You're right. My mind wasn't in the game because I was worried what you
thought and not what I know. Here it is, the Shrooms don't know what we
look like and neither does Laz, but Laz is smart he'll contact us."
Like on queue an announcement came over the PA, "The person that has the
gold Kia Soul license number S I G - O N E please report to passenger
pick-up area D 2."
Bree looked at Nick and said, "That's my Kia."
"No, that's Laz."
Nick and Bree walked slowly out of the cafe acted like a couple killing
time before a flight. They made it to the gate and bolted out the door.
There at the gate was a security team with Laz holding the doors open to
a black limo.
Nick said, "Get in the limo, quickly!"
The couple and Laz jumped in the back of the limo and the security team
got in the front and scratched off.
Nike and Bree in the limo watched and listened as Laz talked into his
radio.
"Coronet and Tiara in route."
"What the hell's happening Laz?" Nick asked.
Laz held up his finger and listened as two black SUVs took up position in
front and in back. Bree thought it was like in the movies or the news
and looked at Laz waiting for him to respond. Then Laz lowered his
finger and breathed a sigh of relief and focused on the couple.
Speaking in an even tone he said, "The Shrooms killed you father and
brother it was not an accident. They were after you Nikki... Nike."
"Okay, why? What's changed? Why are they risking retaliation?"
Laz looked at Bree as if seeing her for the first time and his face took
on an air of amazement.
"Laz why now?"
Laz answered in an even tone still gazing at Bree, "The demons sensed the
seed of The Transcendent would soon take root and he will be a Vine."
"The seed of the what?" Bree asked.
Nike turned to face Bree. "The Transcendent is a prophecy about the next
evolutionary step for the Human Race. The prophecy says that when man is
condition enough by magic, a human will be able to marry and breed with a
supernatural being. The supernatural being is known as The Transcendent
will be born of the union and the faction The Transcendent is born into
will destroy the other."
At this, Nike paused, and Laz jumped in to explain to the couple that the
Demon king and the Elf queen two months ago, had felt the coming of the
union that will result in the conception of The Transcendent. Both
simultaneously the King Demon Astrof and Queen Willow felt the coming
of The Transcendent and they foresaw ,if the birth is not prevented, it
would be a male born to the Luga family.
Bree then looked at Nike and said, "I thought you were the only one left
so am I going to die or are you going to leave me for an elf?"
Laz answered, while Nike sat there looking stunned, "No, Bree, all the
Vines would down their life for your safety and Nike would not and in
fact he cannot leave you. Bree you were married in the old ritual and
the spell worked on you both when Nike became the heir. So magic
sanctioned the union."
"But you said he would marry an elf?" Bree said, in confusion.
Laz nodded. "He did."
