Hi I'm Veronique Dubois age 23 Lead singer of the band Veronique and
Purple Haze but this was not always the case I was formerly Eric Walters
aged 53.
Please read part one and 2 for the story of how my change came about in
part 3 my journey continues. As I said at the first chapter Grammar and
Punctuation are not my strongest point so I will apologise now.
As we left chapter 2 Rowan had just taken Veronique into the Faerie Realm
to find the reasons behind the crystal he had given her turning midnight
blue when she came within close proximity to a women when it was only
supposed to turn blood red when she came into contact with men who had a
tormented women's soul crying for release. He needed to see the Faerie
Queen as he thought something had gone terribly wrong with the
transformation.
Chapter 3
As we walked away from the where we had entered the Faerie realm through
the portal Rowan had summoned while we where still in the Human realm, I
could not get over how beautiful and ethereal the Faerie realm was and I
told Primrose I had never seen anywhere as beautiful as this, "Aye little
one, this area is as you say, but in this realm there are places even we
Faerie will not go, for you see little one it's not only us Faerie who
live here, yonder over there 3 realms pointing to the East we have the
Goblins and Hob Goblins realm, 6 realms to the north we have the
Werepeople and the Vampires and to the very very south we have the ogre's
and rock people and to the west we have Warlocks and witches all places
we avoid, and the realms in-between are either Faerie, Pixie or Elven,
don't you have conflicts I ask her? "we used to have wars amongst the
clans about 17-18 hundred years ago and thousands were killed, then the
elders decided enough was enough and a better way of settling disputes
and conflicts was called for instead of going into battle just to shed
the blood of someone you perceived as your enemy so the elders came up
with the idea of the grand gathering to be held every 12 months, where
the leaders of each race and clan could meet in safety, as no weapons
were allowed at the grand gathering, the leaders would meet in the great
clearing, air there grievances, local disputes and conflicts over a 2
week period thrash out deals that suited every bodies situation since
then we have had no wars as everything is sorted by negotiation" it's a
pity we cannot do that in the human realm just think how many wars would
have been avoided,"aye that be a fact little one,Rowan shouted "come on
you 2 catch up we are approaching the portal for the inner realm or royal
realm to outsiders" Rowan why am I getting a very strong feeling I have
been here before a very long time ago "I cannot answer that Veronique but
the queen maybe able to, as we approached the portal 2 guards came to
attention "welcome back Lord and Lady Rowan and who is your companion"
"This my friends is the beautiful Veronique Dubois who we must see the
Queen about as soon as possible "very good we will inform her Majesty
that you are approaching, you and your party may pass Lord Rowan "thank
you lord Oak, Lord Elm" with that we were allowed to enter the portal, as
we stepped through the portal we found ourselves in the palace of the
Queen, Lord Rowan you are to see Queen Eolande in the small council
chamber "thankyou could you see that Lady Rowan and our guest are looked
after Lord Willow while I see the Queen" "Very good Lord Rowan ladies if
you will follow me please" Primrose and myself were led to a small ante
room were we were offered refreshments.
In the meantime Lord Rowan had made his way to the small council chamber
on entering he saw that the Queen was seated at her bureau he bowed low
and greeted her "your Majesty" welcome Rowan to what do I owe this visit,
your Majesty it as to do with the last transformation I think it may have
gone wrong" Explain very well your Majesty.
As you know your Majesty when a transformation is performed the
transformee usually receive limited powers empathy,low level healing,and
foresight and with the aid of the crystals they sense tormented souls but
not much else, can I ask a question of you your Majesty "certainly" have
you taken a special interest in Veronique and given her extra powers, "as
is usual I sensed a transformation had taken place and as is only right I
did not get involved or give her any extra powers as that is against our
laws of only helping mortals find there true selves"
In that case I regret to inform your Majesty this transformation as gone
very wrong as Veronique has more magical power than she should have
received, when we scanned her magical Aura it went off the scale, its
even greater than yours your Majesty, "Rowan how old are you" I will be
576 years old next birthday your Majesty, "so you are still a youngster
compared to my 1200 years" yes your Majesty "were you taught the story as
a child of the very special human who would one day come to the Faerie
Realm could this be that human" I don't think so your Majesty No human
has ever had this amount of magical ability it would be unprecedented,
"could it be? could it be? could it be what your Majesty,"before I was
born.
one thousand three hundred and fifty years ago my elder sister Orlagh
(Gaelic for Golden Queen)was kidnapped by the wizard Wolfbane before she
reached her first birthday and she was never found, it was said he had
cursed her to walk the human realm for eternity, or till he was killed in
magical combat, as he was never killed, and died of old age if I remember
rightly he died when he was 1474 years old, 500 years ago, I am beginning
to wonder whether Orlagh found her way back to us using her own magical
abilities you must bring this child to our realm immediately and
introduce me, for as soon as we both touch the other, we will know that
we are sisters" your Majesty as we speak the young lady in question is
with my wife in the ante room having refreshments I will go and get them
this very minute, as Rowan turned to leave the room he suddenly
remembered, Majesty when we came through the palace portal, Veronique
said she had a very very strong feeling that she had been here before
could this be true "if it is the memory must be from before she was
kidnapped" I will go and get her your Majesty.
While Rowan had been with the Queen Primrose had been teaching me the
basics of palace etiquette how to curtsey to the Queen how to shake hands
if it was proffered using only finger tips and how to drink my tea and
eat the food that had been brought to us while we waited for Rowan to
return, 45 minutes later Rowan returned say "Veronique I am to present
you to the Queen, Primrose will you join us please" as we walked the
corridors of the palace to meet the Queen Primrose said "Veronique these
clothes will never do for meeting her Majesty with that she waved her
hand over the fuchsia skirt suit I was wearing and it turned into the
most beautiful high necked gown of purist silk in the same fuchsia colour
my suit had been she then did the same to herself but Primrose's dress
was lemon in colour much better she said we are now presentable.
As Rowan knocked on the door and we waited to be bid entrance, I said to
Rowan I have that feeling I have been here before again but before he
could answer we were bid to come in, as we entered Rowan went into a deep
bow and Primrose and myself curtsied deeply to the Queen take a seat and
Rowan who is this lovely young woman "Your Majesty may I present Miss
Veronique Dubois our latest transformee, the Queen came forward holding
out her hand to shake mine Veronique welcome to the Faerie Realm as our
hands came together in a handshake it was as though I had been hit with a
thousand volts of electricity but I could not let go, Eolande I said,
falling into a deep curtsey Eolande said "your Majesty you have returned
to take your rightful place as the Queen of the Faerie" Sister I cannot
do that, you have ruled the Faerie realm for the past 450 years since the
death of our mother, while I have been fighting my way back to the Faerie
realm for the past 1350 years, compared to you my magic is weak and
finally I do not know how to rule so you should stay as Queen.
Orlagh/Veronique "I hear what you say and I can understand your
reluctance as for your magic being weaker than mine you can forget that
little notion your magic being first born is far stronger than mine will
ever be its only because you have not been taught how to use it properly,
"Rowan can you make sure she is thoroughly coached in its use" "it will
be my pleasure your Majesties"but Orlagh/Veronique why don't you want to
be Queen as you are entitled to be,as I have just said I do not know how
to rule and I do not have the experience that you have Eolande, in the
eyes of the Faerie I am but a child and to be honest with you Eolande
over the 1350 years I have tried to get back to the Faerie Realm I have
seen much suffering in the human realm and I think I can be of more use
there in helping the humans through my music and compassion for them and
by helping them get a better insight into our world and how we through
compassion and negotiations do not have wars "if you put it like that I
understand even better your reasons for not wanting to be Queen, But can
you tell me Orlagh/Veronique how did you manage to get back to us after
all these years" when Wizard Wolfbane kidnapped me all those years ago he
knew that he could not afford to be caught so he took me to the human
realm were he had my body killed as my Faerie spirit was about to leave
my body he trapped it and when he sensed a human female had just
conceived with a baby girl he transferred my Faerie spirit into the child
and cursed me to walk among the humans for eternity as the child grew
into a woman and eventually died my spirit was forced to find another
woman who had just conceived a baby girl and my fairy spirit would be
transferred into this child, this happened 24 times and it should have
happened on the 25th time, My spirit transferred into a just conceived
baby girl but by a quirk of nature the foetus developed an extra X
chromosome and a Y chromosome so the baby was born a boy, later in life
this was diagnosed as XXXY Kleinfelter syndrome hence the tortured female
soul in a man,s body, the rest you know through Rowan, when I was
transformed the curse was broken and it would seem with a lot of coaching
in the use of magic all of my powers will return, Rowan ask "but why did
the crystal we gave you not behave as it should have done" I do not know
I answered, Eolande said I can answer that "Orlagh shares a power that
mother had,not only can she can sense female souls crying for release
from male bodies, she can also sense male souls crying for release from
women's bodies in Orlagh's case the crystal only confirms what she
already knows and as long as she does it discretely she will also know
how to transform them and change there time-line so it would appear to
them and everybody they know that they had been born female or male.
So we now know the truth about Veronique formerly 53 year old Eric
Walters what will happen when she returns to the human realm and who will
