Of course they were located in another rather large group of Parallels like First and Second Home. And Exile Sanctuary was at its center as well. I knew that like our own Bio-Ships, the O'shawi could send communications over that great a distance. But I also knew that without relays it could take months even years to get a response. And Tangie needed to contact Second Home in case those groups were hostile and moved in that direction. Also there were still Skecksies out there. Skecksies and a few Loki that might not have heard that Cylon was dead. My brother's ships who already knew the area were unarmed as was Icarus. If we were to establish any kind of reliable communication, we needed relays, but I wasn't prepared to send unarmed ships that couldn't defend themselves.
