Upon entering the Chi O house Beth quickly realized that she was
kidding herself if she thought that no one had noticed her
disappearance.

Beth acknowledged that they were right and proceeded to tell them all
about Aaron. She was hoping that would end the conversation and she
could go upstairs. It just led to more questions.
"Who is it going to be Ron or Aaron?"

Beth thought to herself, "That is a good question. I have often
wondered why did old Beth choose Brad over Ron?"
The comments and questions went back and forth for another 15
minutes. Finally, Beth shouted, "Enough! I had a good time tonight
I will admit it. I don't know what I will do. I need to sort things
out. I love all of you good night my sisters."
Beth hurried upstairs hoping that Leigh was still awake. She entered
their door and called out, "Leigh you are....." She stopped because
she realized that Leigh was not in their room. From wat she could
tell Leigh had not come back from the mixer. Beth didn't see leigh's
purse and the clothes that were on the bed when they left were still
there.
Concerned for Leigh's safety she called Leigh, no answer. She then
sent Leigh a text.
Beth "Leigh it's Beth. Are you all right?"

Beth "Where are you?"
Leigh "I am still at the Pike House?"
Beth "What?"
Leigh "I am with Scott, the guy you saw me with at the mixer"
Beth "You didn't go upstairs did you?"

the side of the house."
Beth sighed she knew what that most likely meant.
Beth "Are you coming home tonight?"
Leigh "Not until everyone is in bed. The last thing I want to do
is face the interrogation. By the way how was your
interrogation?"
Beth "What how did you know about that?"
Leigh "Everyone saw you get all made up and leave with Aaron and
not return."
Beth "I survived. Make sure Scott walks you home. Ok"
Leigh "I will"

Now that she knew that Leigh was safe, well mostly safe, it was time
to deal with her other messages.
She listened to Ron's voicemail:
"Hi Beth. Just thinking about you. Hope you are having fun with all
of your homecoming activities. Looking forward to next week when we
go to Sonnys Bar B Que. Miss you at work and miss walking you home.
Give me a call when you are free."
Beth had forgotten all about next week's dinner. She was wondering
if she should cancel. She couldn't decide about that right now.
She went to Aaron's text message.
"Hi Beth Wow I cant remember the last time I enjoyed a mixer.
Enjoyed our time at the ice cream shop. Plus the walk and the kiss.

Beth was trying to get her head around that she had two guys who were
interested in her. They were both great guys. But she wasn't sure

A that moment her phone announced that she had another text message.
"Beth--Aaron again. Are you going to the game on Saturday? I have a
ticket. I am sitting with our church and I would like to have you
join us. After dinner some members of our church are hosting a
dinner I would like for you to come. Let me know."
Beth already had a ticket to Saturday's game. She had been planning
on sitting with the sorority. If she ditched the sorority to sit
with a guy, well she wouldn't be the first Chi O to do that.
She sent Aaron the following text:
"Aaron sounds like fun. I am looking forward to sitting with you and
the members of your church. Pick me up at the Chi O house @11.
Night Beth"
Beth closed her phone and muttered this is not going to be easy, but
she said it with a smile.
