Part 5
When Mom left my room she went over to Thomas and Larry. They were
playing a video game and drinking sodas.
"Larry, you better go home now. Thomas and I may have to go shopping,"
said Mom.
"Okay, by Thomas, bye Mrs. Turner." Larry laid down the controller and
walked to the door.
"See you Larry," said Thomas but his eyes were on Mom.
When Larry was gone Thomas spoke again. "What you mean Mom, Shopping?"
"I am thinking that you may be feeling left out, Thomas. I spent a lot
of money on clothes and stuff for your little brother but you didn't get
anything." Mom was going somewhere with this but Thomas didn't know
exactly where.
"I'm okay Mom, I don't mind that Jimmy got all those girl's clothes,
unless you want to buy me that cool drone I showed you the other day."
Thomas went on, "it's not too much money and then I....."
"No not a drone, Thomas," Mom interrupted, "I was thinking that you must
feel left out since you didn't even get one dress of your own. You have
been mean to your brother since I made him wear girl clothes. It could
be you're jealous. Maybe this family should become all women."
"No Mom, I'm fine, I'm not j-j-j-jealous. I don't feel jealous at all.
And I don't even need a drone," Thomas stuttered.
"What you did to Jimmy introducing him as Jennifer to Larry was uncalled
for. I think Jimmy was feeling a lot better about his situation today
until that happened." Mom went on, "So, unless you would like to be in
dresses and skirts you had better change your thinking. To help you do
that, you won't be going out for two weeks. I'm not sure that will be
enough time for you to get a learning experience, so I will re-think my
decision after school ends. It will depend on how you treat Jennifer."
"Sure Mom, okay, I will do what you said. I am kind of big to wear
dresses and look like a girl." Thomas had that smirk on his face as he
tried to appease Mom.
"Oh there are many big girls, so don't let that worry you. And your
smirk just might cost you a nightie to sleep in for a while," Mom
threatened. "Shall we go to Missy's now or see if you can change?"
"I didn't mean to smirk, Mom. I will change, you will see. I just
meant that Jimmy makes a cute girl and I wouldn't." Thomas was getting
himself in deeper the more he spoke.
"I want you to apologize to Jennifer, tell her you will be a lot more
considerate in the future." Mom got up and turned back, with one more
comment for Thomas. "I think you would be a very cute girl. A Tomboy
perhaps but not all girls act girly. There are even some girls that are
great at sports. You could change from football to softball and still
be a star."
Thomas gulped realizing that he was very close to skirts and panties.
Later he apologized to me and he even sounded sincere. He told me what
Mom had said and that he was being grounded for two weeks. He didn't
mention the part about him going shopping to Missy's.
I asked him what Larry said after I left. He told me Larry, at first,
didn't even know Jennifer was me.
But yes, Larry did soon enough. Thomas explained that I was being
punished. Fortunately Thomas hadn't told him why I was being punished,
or at least that's what Thomas told me. Larry said I look just like my
sister, Elizabeth. That made me smile on the inside.
I made it the next two weeks changing from Jimmy at school and Jennifer
at home. And Thomas survived staying at home every day and he was even
a lot nicer to me. I was now going to be Jennifer full time until Mom
decided I had enough, punishment, oh I mean a learning experience.
I wonder if Mom really meant my learning experience was learning how to
be a girl.
None of my friends knew anything about my situation. I told them that I
was being punished for two weeks and I couldn't go out, so none of them
came over. But now the two weeks were done, what do I say now? That
problem was soon solved by my Aunt Becky. Of course every girl/boy
story has an auntie. And I had Auntie Becky, for good or bad.
The second day after school was out for the summer Mom told me that Aunt
Becky was coming to visit. Becky was five years younger than my Mom.
She had two daughters near my age. Aubrey was a year older than I was
and Kelly was my age. Aunt Becky's husband was a long distance truck
driver the last I knew.
Aunt Becky was one of my favorite relatives. She had a nice house in a
small city about an hour from where we lived. We used to visit and play
in the woods or go to a stream that everyone called the swimming hole.
But, I sure didn't want her to see me this way, as a girl.
"So, when Aunt Becky comes, is it alright if I wear boy clothes again?"
I asked, excitedly, thinking that even Mom would be embarrassed if Aunt
Becky found out about me.
"No. A deal is a deal." Mom blew my hopes straight out of the water.
A deal, how can one person make a deal, when I never had a voice in the
negotiations. "Besides Becky knows all about your situation, that's
part of why she is coming."
"Mom," I complained. "Why did you tell her? I am going to have a heart
attack if this keeps up." Then a sudden thought flashed into my brain.
"Are Aubrey and Kelly coming too?"
"No, the girls are not coming and you are not going to have a heart
attack," Mom said shaking her head.
"Well it may not be a heart attack, maybe a stroke." I felt my wrist to
check my blood pressure.
"So tell me do you like being a girl?" Mom asked.
"It's too much pressure for me, Mom. Maybe I should take a week off
from wearing girl things; just to be sure my health is good." I put one
hand to my heart to make sure it was beating normal.
"Do you realize that this is the first day that you got dressed all by
yourself without me telling you too? Not only that, but your hair is
perfect and I smell your perfume," Mom said observantly. "You also put
on your training bra and you have some boobies?"
"Mom! That's disgusting to say. I knew I had to whether you were there
are not. Yes I put on my bra and the socks in my bra cups, just like
you wanted," I told her.
"Well I can see them! And you put on your blue short shorts and the
kitty t shirt. That is really a great match," Mom said proudly. "How
about panties?"
"Yes Mother, I am wearing my panties." As I answered her and I realized
I sounded just like Elizabeth. I smiled.
"What's funny?" Mom asked.
"I sounded just like Liz when she answers you." I said. Then I tilted
my head to the side, thinking about how girly I am becoming. These damn
clothes.
"Do you at least like some of the pretty clothes that you get to wear
now?" Mom asked.
"Honestly Mom, I'm not sure. I liked wearing girl clothes when no one
knew. And my new clothes fit me great and are pretty. But now the
entire world knows!" I exclaimed.
"Don't be so dramatic, the entire world does not know. You're right,
you do sound like Elizabeth." Mom laughed when she said that and that
made me laugh.
"Why don't we go see a movie today, just the two of us?" Mom raised
both eyebrows expecting I would be thrilled. "Popcorn and soda will be
my treat."
"It will be dark in the theatre, huh? Can we go to the Riverside
Theatre; it's not where my friends hang out?" I asked.
"Sure, no problem, we will have fun." Mom seemed happy that I agreed.
"And Goobers, Mom," I guess it won't hurt to ask for more, Mom is in a
great mood.
"Goobers? Oh alright sure, popcorn, soda and goobers it is." Mom
hugged me.
We found a movie that sounded good online. It would fit our time line
and seemed to be interesting. Mom bought the tickets.
When it was time to leave for the movie I grabbed my purse and followed
Mom to the car. I also grabbed my sweater sometimes it's cold inside.
Once we got to the theatre Mom bought a huge box of popcorn to share.
We both got a soda and I got Goobers.
The movie was good. It was very funny as well as long. I was actually
looking more at the women's clothing than the movie itself. Yikes that
is not good. I had almost finished my soda when I realized I have a
problem.
"Mom, I have to pee," I told Mom. I had been squirming in my seat
hoping I could hold it.
"Alright, let's go," she answered.
"Where?" I asked knowing the answer.
"To the bathroom. Oh!" Mom caught on. "We are going to the ladies
room of course. There is no other choice. Let's go, don't forget your
purse."
On the way to the ladies room Mom gave me the rules women follow. "When
we enter the room, if it is crowded we stand in line. When we get to
the front, we take the nearest open stall. And we always sit down.
When you are finished don't forget to use paper, even if you only pee
you wipe.
There was only one lady in line and all four stalls were in use. It
didn't take long for my turn and I moved to the open stall. The young
lady that vacated the stall smiled at me and then went on past.
I did my business, fixed my panties and short shorts, oh yeah, I didn't
forget to use paper. When I came out Mom was over by the sink as I
joined her.
"Everything okay now?" she asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks Mom," I said and I smiled up at her.
"Do you feel alright if you go by yourself next time?" Mom questioned.
"Yes Mother, I am a big girl. I can go potty by myself next time," I
quipped, and we both laughed at that.
After the movie as we were walking to the car Mom said, "On the way home
I want to tell you why Aunt Becky is coming here tomorrow."
While in the car I heard Mom and Becky's crazy plan for my summer.
The plan was that I spend the summer at Aunt Becky's. Being Jennifer
for the entire summer. Mom and my siblings would visit. Maybe
Elizabeth would stay a few days after I got comfortable. Mom's thinking
was that I could get away from my school friends and not have to worry
about being seen as a girl. Not to mention getting away from Thomas and
Larry. That part was great. But what about Aubrey and Kelly? It would
be embarrassing for my cousins to see me as a girl.
Aunt Becky had told Mom that her girls would be fine with me being there
as a girl. Yes it would take a few days getting used to me being a
girl, but it wouldn't be a problem. Becky said the girls would love to
show me around and have fun together. Becky said they have grown up a
lot since we visited last. They miss seeing their cousins. Besides
they hardly have any kids around their age.
"But Mom even if I said alright to this plan, the entire summer? How
did my punishment, oops, my learning experience get extended?" I asked.
"Okay honey, here it is." Mom slowed down driving trying to find the
right words. "I think you like being a girl. You don't yet realize
it." She looked over at me as she continued. "I want you to have
enough time to make your own decision. It will be too difficult to stay
home and still have a fair opinion about your situation. I mean you
won't even want to go outside at home. At Aunt Becky's no one but her
family knows you're a boy. You will be free to be yourself and have a
great summer. It also means you will get more clothes!"
I thought it over and it seemed reasonable. My only concern was my
cousins accepting me. Oh gosh then there is my uncle, Glenn. He will
think I am gay or something.
"May I pick out a lot of the clothes?" I said, which was another way of
saying I accept.
"But of course sweetie," Mom said happily patting my knee. "You may
want to consider a teeny bikini."
With those words I looked at Mom and raised one eyebrow. "Mother!"
That night at home Mom told me I had two appointments tomorrow. "The
first appointment I want to take you before Aunt Becky gets here. But
Becky will take you to the second one because I have to work," Mom
informed me.
"What are the appointments?" I asked.
"Well," Mom paused and she was smiling, "I think your hair is long
enough to get a new style and some cool highlights. I have an
appointment for you and Elizabeth, tomorrow morning."
"That sounds pretty good; I don't enjoy wearing this wig very much," I
said to Mom. "And the second appointment?"
"Aunt Becky is going to take you to a store that sales forms," she said.
"What are forms?" I asked.
"They go in your bra, to make you look like you have some tissue like a
girl your age. Not big, just something better than socks." She
laughed. "And I think they have something you can wear down there to
make you smooth. That will be important when you wear your bikini."
"I still am not sold on a wearing a bikini Mom," I frowned.
"I think when you start having fun with your cousins you will love
wearing a bikini. Aunt Becky told me the girls almost live in their
bikini during the summer. And the forms are completely waterproof and
won't lose their shape."
"Wow, that's like the most important thing to me, I need my boobs to
keep their shape," I said sarcastically.
"I know you are being a wise guy but maybe someday, what you said will
be very important," Mom said sounding like a wise guy. "Tomorrow while
you are out think about what other things you would like to take to Aunt
Becky's for when we go shopping.
I nodded okay.
That night I thought about all the changes I have gone through in the
last month or so. I looked down at my pretty nightie. Tomorrow I am
getting a girl's hair do, oh my. At least I will look so different than
my cousins remember. That should be good to get them to think of me as
Jennifer and not Jimmy.
