"So what did you end up buying for dinner tonight, Mr Chef?" Alice said excitedly
"I got us a couple of steaks and thought maybe a nice steak dinner with all of the trimmings, chunky steak cut chips, mushroom, tomato, onion rings and peppercorn sauce" He replied

The kitchen began to fill with the smells of cooking and it was doing nothing but causing the pair to have a rather heated argument with their stomachs. "The rate that our stomachs are going, I think they will be packing their bags and heading home" Charlie said with a laugh.
"You are right about that, but I know that it will all be worth it in the end. I will be honest it feels really nice having someone else cooking for me, I am so used to only cooking for myself that I end up getting lazy and having ready meals more than I would like to admit" she said feeling rather down.
"Don't be hard on yourself, I imagine you working your arse off everyday at your job and I know that the last thing you want to do when you come home is cook, especially if it is just for yourself." he replied
Alice got up and headed over towards Charlie. "Are you sure that there isn't anything that I can do to help?" she asked
"No it is okay, I have everything pretty much under control. You chill out and enjoy your holiday" He laughed
"I think I need something to distract me or else my stomach will start eating itself" She laughed back "I know that there is something that I will be looking forward to after the main course" giving a squeeze on Charlie's crotch.
"You are such a tease" he grinned to her "trying to get me all worked up whilst I am trying to cook us a lovely meal"
"Anyway dinner is nearly done, how do you like your steak done?" He asked

Dinner was finally finished after what seemed an eternity and the plates were stacked to the brim with food. Enough to feed the five thousand in some peoples eyes. Charlie didn't care though and it certainly seemed that Alice didn't either.
The pair sat down at the table and tucked into their meals. Needless to say that the food didn't last all that long and before the blink of an eye both plates were spotless and the pair looked like their were about to burst.
"That... was such a good meal" Charlie said leaning back in his chair, a rather visible food baby formed in his stomach.
"How was it?" he asked her
"It was amazing, that is one of the best meals I have ever... *BURP* had..." she said looking visibly shocked at the sound that came out of her.
Charlie started laughing "Oh my god... haha... someone certainly seemed to like it"
"Excuse me... I am so sorry for that" she said turning rather red
"No need to say sorry, I'll take it as a compliment to the chef" he said through his laughter. "At least I know you will be having a least one good meal before you go home"
"That I will" she replied "Once I have let my dinner go down I will do the washing up and you can put your feet up, only fair since you cooked"

After around thirty minutes of being in a food coma, Alice finally had the effort to get up and begin to clear the table and wash up.
Charlie got up and collapsed on the seatee, getting up rather quickly due to being violently probed by a remote control.
Alice couldn't help but laugh at this and nearly ended up dropping the plates on the floor. Steadying herself she turned the hot water on and waited for the bowl to fill up.
Charlie turned the television over and saw that a film was about to start. "Oh nice, James Bond. Love these films" he said
"Which one is it?" Alice asked from the kitchen
"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" he said back
"Oh okay, I don't think I have seen that one. I won't be long" she replied
Charlie got comfortable on the seatee and reached for his obligatory evening cigarette, he got out one and called out to Alice. "Do you want a ciggy?"
"I am okay at the moment, I will have one when I come back in" Alice replied
Charlie grabbed his lighter and sparked his cigarette and laid back watching the film.
Alice had finished the washing and put everything back where it lived.
She slipped into the bedroom and looked in her bag, rummaging around she found what she had been looking for. A bottle of wine, she was keeping this to have with her sister but that wasn't going to happen so she decided why not now? The timing seemed right.
She put the bottle on the side and continued to rummage through. Digging deep into the bag she found a small tin, she grabbed it and placed on the bedside table.
Entering the front room, she placed the bottle in Charlie's lap. "Thought that we could have this since I am not going to drinking this with my sister" Alice said
"Very nice, I will grab some glasses" he replied "Feel free to take a ciggy, lighter is on the table"
Alice took a cigarette out and lit it up, relaxing on the seatee waiting for Charlie to get back. This didn't take long, Charlie poured two rather healthy glasses and handed one to Alice.
*Klink* "To an unexpected weekend" Charlie said
"To an unexpected weekend" replied Alice
The pair snuggled up and watched the film although they both would be lying if there wasn't something else on their minds.
Alice would slowly slide her head down from Charlie's stomach to his crotch, complaining that there was an awful lump stopping her from getting comfortable. "Call me when you get home" he said sternly "I'll come and pick you up from work Friday".
She kissed him back and squeezed him. A small smile creeping on her face. "See you Friday" she replied.
Charlie looked on as Alice got on the train and waved her off. He returned to his car and sat in the driver's seat holding the steering wheel. A small tear fell down his cheek before he wiped it away. "You'll see her Friday" he said to himself.
He started the engine up and drove off back home.
He opened the door and threw his keys in the dish and sat down on the seatee. Reaching for the packet of cigarettes he took one out and went to grab the lighter.
One problem, it wasn't there. He looked around for it but couldn't see it anywhere. He remembered giving the lighter to Alice.
He decided to call her to check.
*Ring Ring* *Ring Ring* "Hello?" answered Alice
"Hey beautiful, do you have my lighter?" he asked
"Maybe..." she said trying to hold back a laugh
"Oh, you are the worst type of person" Charlie laughed "You owe me big time on Friday"
"Is that an order?" she quizzed
"It is" he replied back
"Then you better be looking forward to Friday" she said
"Let me know when you get home, yeah?" he asked
"Will do, speak to you soon handsome" she replied

Epilogue
Alice returned home safely and called Charlie as soon as she was through her front door. She was sad to not be with him but knew that she would be seeing him on Friday and that was enough for her.
She felt that she may have found the man for her.
A few days after these events Alice was on her lunch break when she went to get a pregnancy test. Both herself and Charlie worried about the implications of a pregnancy when they weren't even together.
To the relief of Alice the test came back negative as did it on a second test. She messaged Charlie not long after finding this out and told him the news.
For Charlie this was welcome news, as much as he wanted to be a father, he knew that it was too early in their relationship to be thinking about children.
He decided to pick up some more supplies for the bedroom in case something like that were to happen again.
For now we leave these two new lovers and maybe we will revisit them in the future. -->
