I left the teleport room and headed back to the command post. When I reached the doors we once used to keep Ruth and Manuel away from our homes, they were shut tight. Each set remained closed until I was no more than ten yards away and then opened, allowing me into the colony.
Once I passed the third door, I ran to the command post. The tapestry had moved to conceal the door, and I had to lift it away from the wall in order to enter.
Inside I found that Candi and Randi had relieved my sister concubines. James was standing next to a display, chatting with Timothy and Linus. I walked over to touch him.
He put a hand on my head without turning. "Linus," he said. "We need to get this ship turned fast. Tam and Tif are sleeping right now, so I thought I'd call you. Timothy suggests that we can complete the repair in one day, if we go with a full replacement of the port side rather than stripping out the damaged sections and repairing them."
Linus gave James a look of surprise. "We could do that," he said. "I'm not sure we can salvage much though. We'll be burning through quite some of our supplies. Is turning the ship quickly that important?"
James nodded. "It might be nothing, but the communications we've had with the captain of Sahara haven't been very pleasant. I'd rather not have him around if we don't have to."
Linus shrugged. "I can have the repair units start fabricating a new port side for the ship. We won't know for sure how long it will take until the ship is in the dock and we can start cutting away the damaged area. Right now it looks like its mostly the armor and communications that are out, but we can't tell how deep the damage has penetrated."
"Do it," James said tersely.
I looked up at James. Worry lined his face. "James," I said softly. "Please don't worry so much."
"Sorry," he said absently. The hand that had been resting on my head dropped down to my shoulder and pulled me to him in a one-armed hug. "It's much job to worry. But this time we have everything under control. Why don't you work on your tapestry? I'll be leaving here in a few and then relaxing with a book."
"I could cuddle with you," I replied pulling his hand around me.
He laughed. "True, but you got to cuddle with me yesterday, so I should find Tina and give her a bit of cuddle time. I think she wants to show off her reading skills for me."
I giggled and kissed the palm of his hand. "Good idea," I said before lifting his arm from my shoulders and dashing off.
I was almost to the door when I heard Timothy say. "So that's your trick. I wondered how you could keep them from becoming jealous of each other. It's hard enough with two."
James' response was muffled as the door to the command post closed behind me. I sighed that he had sent me away. Maggie was walking though the hallway and noticed me. "Hey Meiko! Where are you going?"
I looked back at the door to the command center. "James suggested I work on my tapestry. I guess I should."
"Let's go together!" Maggie suggested. "I wanted to practice a bit on the violin."
I nodded and turned to walk with her. "Why the violin?" I asked.
Maggie giggled. "I don't sing well, and my dancing is terrible, so I'm not in the play much, but I see you, Mickey and Cleo sitting in front having a wonderful time playing the music. And I noticed that the AI is having to add in violins quite a bit, so I figured, I could help."
I smiled. "That makes sense."
"Yeah," Maggie replied. "So how's your tapestry coming? I saw the artwork and it looked spectacular. Simple, but spectacular."
"Tina didn't tell me how long it takes to set up the loom. I spent three days just getting all the yarn loaded properly and the various pattern cards set up properly. Even with the help of the AI that took a while."
Maggie nodded. "I know, and you only have four colors in your tapestry. I had fourteen."
"Is that why you didn't start another one right away?" I asked.
Maggie giggled. "No. I just thought that it would be nice to allow others to try for a while. Tina spent all her spare time in there and it still took her almost four months to complete her tapestry. I knew I'd be spending a lot of time on other things."
"But, I'm still practicing the flute daily as well as helping with everything else," I said worriedly. "Should I have allowed someone else to take a turn?"
"How big is your tapestry going to be?" Maggie asked.
"Well ... After looking at some real paintings in the style of the art I'm trying to do, I realized that most were made so they were taller than they are wide. I'm going to make a smaller tapestry. It will be six feet tall by four foot wide," I admitted.
"The loom can make something up to six feet across. Did you set it up so you only have four feet to weave?" Maggie asked.
"Yes," I admitted. "It made sense."
"Good idea," Maggie said with a nod as we reached The Refuge. We entered together, but she then broke off to head for the music room as I made my way to the weaving room.
I spent the next four hours adding about six inches to the tapestry. Robin and Zenita were also working on new tapestries. This helped the time pass quickly as we gossiped while working.
I was still concentrating on working when someone touched my shoulder. "I turned around to look and found Jillian standing behind me. "James is heading home," she whispered. "Bethany suggested that all of you go and cuddle with him."
"Are things bad?" I asked.
Jillian shrugged. "Kitty stopped by the school after Candi and Randi relieved her in the command post. I guess Captain Narvaza was rather abusive to everyone. James has been worried."
"I noticed that when he recalled me from the teleport room. I had hoped it was just nerves with that scientist coming," I whispered.
Jillian nodded. "I know. But he recalled Tam and Tif and asked that they handle the final docking of Sahara. And he sent Brad to handle the teleportation of the crew. He even had Xavier, Debby and Amanda in battle armor waiting in the teleportation room."
I gasped and stood up. The AI quickly pulled the shuttle I had been handing while weaving the tapestry to the right, securing it. Jillian gave me a quick hug and then pushed me toward the door. "Go, and take care of our leader."
I dashed out of the room and ran for home. As I passed the school, Bethany stepped out and waved me to stop. "We need to take the babies home," she called.
She led me into the school. Bren and Rene were just putting Tolwin into a dual carriage next to Joy. I moved to help them secure him as Bethany brought over another carriage containing Madoka and Astrid.
"You put our daughters together," I observed with a smile.
Bethany giggled. "They get along great," she said. "But once we get home we should feed our babies. They are probably hungry."
I finished getting Joy and Tolwin buckled in with Rene's help and then got behind the carriage. "Yes, but let's find James. He always seems to turn into a big baby himself when we feed our children."
Bethany giggled. "Sounds like a plan."
We pushed the carriages through the hallway. We reached the intersection that led to the twin's home and found Brittany standing in the passage leading to our home playing with her ponytail.
"Oh good," she cried. "James wants some time with his babies."
"How is he?" Bethany asked. "Is the stress getting to him?"
Brittany giggled. "Not at all. He was actually laughing with Timothy at some of the things Captain Narvaza said."
"I thought the Sahara had communication problems," I said.
"They did," Brittany said as we walked down the passage to our door. "He could hear us quickly thanks to our repeater stations, but the only transmissions Sahara could make were low power and could only be picked up by our main antennae on Astarte. It could take quite a while before we received a response from him."
"Tough to deal with," Bethany replied as we entered our home.
"Joy!" Janice cried as I pushed the carriage into the room. My sister concubine dashed over to give me a hug before kneeling down to unbuckle her daughter. "You must be hungry."
I giggled and removed my top before stepping over to the carriage Bethany had pushed to unlock Madoka. A moment later I had my daughter in my arms and pressed to my breast. She quickly started suckling. I sighed and walked over to the couch to sit down.
Janice joined me on the couch. Tina and Bethany chose the individual recliners as they fed their own children.
"Eeew," Kitty called out. "You didn't change their diapers first."
"Actually, Bren and Rene were giving a childcare class in school today. They had their diapers changed just before Meiko stopped by to help me bring them home," Bethany said.
"That's nice," James said. "But what if I wanted to change a few diapers?" He was stepping out of our bath area.
"James!" I cried. Tina, Janice and Bethany cried it at the same time. My master walked over with a chuckle and sat on the back of the couch.
He was right behind me and I felt his gaze rest on my daughter for a moment. He then looked down at Janice and Joy. "You all seem a bit worried." He observed.
"We heard you are trying to keep the crew of Sahara away from us," Tina replied. "I thought problems like this weren't going to happen anymore."
James laughed and reached down to pat Joy on the head. "It never was a guarantee. There was always the possibility that we'd run into a few crewmen or captains who had trouble accepting our rules."
"What will you do?" Janice asked. She reached out with her free hand to stroke James' arm for a moment. "Will we be safe?"
"Definitely," James said. He bent down to give Janice a kiss on the cheek. "The doors are secure, and Captain Narvaza and his men are going to be met by Xavier and Amanda wearing battle armor. They will keep the peace while we start the repairs on Sahara."
I was going to say more, but Terrence's voice rang out in the pod. "James, Captain Narvaza is asking about making a report to Borneo."
"We sent a preliminary report based on what Lieutenant Cassidy told us four hours ago. Admiral Himmel was happy with that. The only additional reports need to be the turn around time for Sahara, and the readings from the battle recorders. I believe Barbara was going to download the battle reports once we have the damaged sections of the ship cut away so we can estimate the real repair time."
"I need to see if my orders have changed," a voice growled out. "Being stuck on this rock means I'm not killing any Sa'arm."
James rolled his eyes and looked up at the ceiling. "Tiffany, can you see if Admiral Himmel is available? Captain Narvaza you can wait in the teleport room, we will patch you in the moment we have communications established. Or you can have Xavier lead you to a room and rest. There is no way your ship will leave the dock for at least twenty hours."
"It looks like at least four days," Tamara called out. "The weapon the Sa'arm used warped a lot of metal. We can't just cut it all away and pack in a new port side. Louis, Timothy and I are still finding more deep damage."
James put a hand over his face. "Captain?" he asked.
"I'll take the escort to a bed," the captain of Sahara growled. "But I want to be talking to the Admiral in twelve hours."
There was a long silence and then Terrence sighed. "He's competent. He's clearly got control over his crew. But man is that man abrasive. I'm surprised you got him to back down."
"I didn't," James said. "All I did was point out that he can't really add anything to a report at the moment. I guessed he'd be professional enough to see that a delay isn't always a bad thing."
"Thank god," Tiffany said. "Talking to Borneo uses a lot of power, and right now we need all we have to get the repairs of Sahara expedited."
"How bad is it really?" James asked.
"The ship was lucky," Louis replied. "No critical structures suffered more than minimal damage, and the engines are intact. But the portside of the ship is a mess. Every point defense station will have to be rebuilt, and there isn't any armor remaining. Your earlier idea to build a new section and patch it in is basically what we have to do. There is nothing viable from just behind the bridge to just in front of the engines. I'm actually surprised their casualties were so low."
"The main armament of the African class is their forward battery. The sides just contain the defenses and structure. I expect most of their crew was forward of the area that was hit," James replied.
"How do you always know things like that," Tiffany asked.
"I study," James replied. I could see him smiling. "It's something to do when my concubines aren't all demanding attention"
Janice grabbed James around the neck with her free hand. "If you want us to continue demanding your attention, you'll never say something like that again," she hissed.
James sat on the edge of the couch in shock, but then Janice spoiled the scene by giggling loudly. She pulled James off the back of the couch and into her lap. "Kit, Brit, take this citizen of ours and ravish him."
My sister concubines waddled over to James and grabbed his arms. They giggled loudly as they dragged James back to the bedroom. James played at trying to escape, but allowed them to guide him from the room. A moment later the door slid shut.
"Well, that should keep him there for a few hours. Hopefully he'll take the same advice he gave Captain Narvaza and rest," Bethany said. "Now we should probably grab some sleep as well. I think we might need to consider staggering our sleep cycles in the near future, so that at least three of us are awake at any time."
"Will that really help?" Tina asked. "After all, other than Yvette and maybe Amanda the other citizens don't really have enough concubines to always have a member of the household awake."
Once we passed through the airlock, Tyson put his arms around Cleo and pulled her to him. "Run along, girls," he said. "I think it's time I got this lovely lady pregnant again." Mickey and I giggled and then ran off down the hallway. Behind us, we could hear Cleo's cheerful squeal as she twisted around to kiss Tyson. "She sounds happy with the idea," Mickey said as we make our way through the passages. "I think she is truly happy about it," I replied quietly. "Tyson loves his...
For the next week, every citizen had concubines hovering around him or her. If a citizen showed any fatigue, they were dragged back to their pods and forced to sleep. James and Yvette grumbled a bit about the concubines taking over, but the rest was definitely doing them good. Once again, gathering in our large recreation room became a popular pastime. Tyson, Terrence and Brad even came up with rules for three-person hockey. Teams were formed from a citizen and his concubines. Janice and...
My opponent abandoned his attempt to take over the teleport pad after about twenty minutes. I stood at the controls, waiting for the next attack. I was checking to see if I could set up some filters to help limit the scope of the attacks when I heard someone clear their throat behind me. I froze, but a hand kept me from turning around. "Don't panic," I heard Brittany say. "I just didn't know how to get your attention. You were concentrating." The console signaled that another attempt...
It seemed to take forever to make our way to the passage that used to separate our home from the maniacs who had been dropped on Ishtar with us. When we arrived, the informal guard kiosk stood empty in front of a closed pressure door. We paused to wait for the doors to open when a young female cried out. "Wait!" We turned to find Lily, the ten year old daughter of Linus, pushing a double stroller. I tried to figure out what the issue was as she came to a stop in front of us. "Esther...
Terry commed Sean that they had visitors. He had picked up the group coming in across the grasslands from the west on his trip up to the ship on Monday morning. A group of thirty-eight people made up of Burgis, Pix and Prol’s were turning up on their back doorstep. Lee suddenly asked Sean to call up his troops. Nine were still on the planet. She called Kyle, Tony, Philip and Haf. Lee also asked for Doc Von and nurse Grace. She also wanted a medical scanner to be put on one of the platforms....
Mark Two weeks before the Grand Opening of the Club Infinity, I stood in the middle of the dance floor and looked around at the beehive of activity going on around me. Elsa and Stacy stood on the stage with a tall handsome man named Lee Olerich – the new club manager that Stacy had hired on my behalf. They were auditioning female and male strippers. Stacy had a clipboard with one page for each girl or guy who had applied to her ads. There was a boom box on the corner of the stage with...
As I sat there enjoying watching my wife being fucked by two other men at the same time, men we had only met the day before, I thought back to how this had all started and evolved so rapidly after we moved to Colorado. Carol and I had just recently moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We are both artists and decided that it was where we wanted to live and work. We love the snow, skiing and especially cuddling and making mad passionate love in front of a big roaring fireplace in the harsh...
Brittany and Kitty relaxed slightly once James had disappeared from the viewscreen. Kitty looked a bit frustrated. "I want to help him, but I can't move fast right now," she moaned as she put a hand on her very pregnant belly. "I felt the same the last weeks before giving birth," I admitted. "James understands." Kitty nodded sadly as she claimed an empty chair and sat down. She quickly rolled the chair next to mine and threw her arms around me as I continued to watch the viewscreen...
James waved at the ceiling. "End this call," he muttered. "The communication has ended," the AI replied. "Please note that Major Bonham is looking for ways to conduct surveillance of this side of the colony. Do you wish to block his attempts?" "I should," James replied with a snarl. "But if he only sees rooms and not the hallways it shouldn't matter too much. Just make sure he doesn't find out about our little hold out tunnel. I'm beginning to fear we might have to use it...
"Go ahead," I said, putting my left hand up next to my ear. "Meiko," Maggie's voice said. "We have a teleport unit near Morrigan, but we are going to have a problem. The gunner is barely conscious and won't be able to get out of the pod without help." "Can someone from Morrigan do it?" I asked. "No," Maggie said. "I already asked. The grid is charged so anyone setting foot on it would be killed." I considered the situation. "We've done that kind of teleport before, but...
It was nearly midnight as the three men walked through the campsite on their way back from the pub. It was an early Spring moonless night with a chill in the air so they were walking at a brisk pace, chatting and joking in low voices along the way. One of them happened to glance to the right and noticed that a caravan in the near distance was rocking.“Look!” He exclaimed, pointing at the caravan.“There’s fuckin’ goinig on on in there in there!” Said the second.“I know who’s that is,” said the...
It was the rest day, and everyone was happily kicking back, taking it easy. It had been a busy week, and Lee and Sean were thinking of taking the faeries and Drako and going home. The new residents were now part of the scenery and all happily employed. Their addition had helped immensely. Dye now had two Pixs to help her out, and they had taken to the new banking and contracts system like ducks to water. Other Pixs were now running the replicator. The new families of Prols were split...
Just Another Set of Visitors----------The morning has passed quickly, people checking in, getting the assigned horses and then heading out to the trails for their rides. Most visitors were repeat customers and it was not necessary to administer the basic instructions on riding and horse handling. However, this afternoon at 1 pm, there was a beginning training session scheduled for two riders. There was no information on the riders, so when they arrived all the release and information forms had...
They were starting to get the gear not required, packed up when Terry commed Sean. “More trouble is coming Boss. There is a large party coming in from the same direction the others came from. With horses and wagons,” he told them. Lee and Kyle looked at each other. Their medallions had gone from warm to very warm. Lee had thought the sickness was the danger, but after she had cured the little girl, her medallion was still warm. Obviously, the illness wasn’t the threat it was warning her...
A few weeks have gone by and the camp is still talking about the tasty but strong bruga that finally ran out two days ago. I let the remainder be rationed until it was gone and only at dinner. I was given the word from the ‘Grapevine’ that most people were pleased with the celebration, but everyone was looking forward to the next such event in the future. I was thinking that I would have some reason to make a party happen, when a reason showed up all by itself. All the men in camp like to...
True to her word, as soon as Beth had regained her pose from the first spanking administered to her by her roommate, she promptly switched places with her. Just a few short moments later, and it was now Beth that had administered a good hard spanking to Misty. To be sure, both of their bottoms were sore, but they also had, for the first time, experienced what it was like to be the one giving a spanking, rather than just the recipient. It gave them each an exhilarating feeling of power, unlike...
SpankingAnna has me come over. She tells me it's been days since I had sex with her, and she understands. I'm not so young, I can't fuck as often as the younger men, but that's okay. She enjoys it very much when I just watch her playing with herself, when I help her pleasuring herself. She likes sucking on me, she likes me inside her even if I don't want to fuck her hard and come inside her.She then says she wants me to do something special just for her. She will suck me until I'm hard, and then...
Visitors By J. Setak This story that I am about to re-tell to you is the events of June 23rd 2050. It was/is a day that shook the world as you are about to hear... Chapter 1: I had finished school for the summer. I loved summer holidays so much. Just last month I had finished my exams for secondary education, and me and my mates had gone and got so drunk in the middle of the park. We had hung round there until the red sun had hidden behind the horizon, which turned out to be...
If you saw a SpaceShip land nearby, and the doors opened, and a ramp lit up invitingly at your feet; would you step inside? Satisfy your curiosity and go in to meet the Visitors? Crazy question; i know... but this is exactly what happened to me just 3 days ago.. if you are ever going to hear my tale.. let alone believe it.. then you must accept the whole of it.. and not some random parts of it to be true.. for everything that i experienced upon that fantastic, and futuristic...
The first indication I had that something was wrong came when the two security cameras at the cabin showed someone was poking around. The cabin cameras were low priority. Alpha monitored them, but just barely. One of her security systems would spare a few milliseconds of attention every five minutes or so to make sure nothing had changed. One camera's field of view included some of the driveway and the spot where we would leave our DC superheroines to wake up. The other camera showed the...
Ty was sitting in the library enjoying a drink. He was reading one of Willow’s many books. She had a whole section on Nordland and Ty was brushing up on their history, as they were the dignitaries that were coming for the Winter Season. The fields were bare, and they had already had a light smattering of snow. As soon as the product was packed into the crates, they would head to Bavindor. One of the big barns was heated, and the bags of leaves were packed flat in set weights, on the racks...
By two thirty in the morning I was sitting next to Anne on the patio and we were drinking coffee and chatting about the night's activities. My father was in bed snoring his head off and Connie's room was burning the only light in the house while she was in the company of Michael who at her insistence had decided to spend the night. I was wearing a pair of cream coloured slacks and a yellow sports shirt while Anne was dressed in the white skirt and matching bolero jacket Connie had dressed...
The shrill chirping of a bird outside the window brought me into that halfway state between sleep and wakening, and I felt Carol spooned behind me with her breasts pressed up against my back and her arm wrapped around my chest. It felt so good - I had forgotten how good it felt to cuddle, just sharing skin and couldn't remember just how long it had been... Then she moved her hand to caress my breast, thumb and finger teasing my nipple and I could feel my clit engorging, my nether lips...
I glanced over at her for the fiftieth time. Two rows ahead of me, two machines to the left. I quickly forced myself to look back at the row of TVs hanging from the ceiling, not wanting her to catch me looking at her again. Not that she had any idea I was even alive, mind you, maybe I was more afraid of being embarrassed by someone else catching me ogling the ultra-fit redhead with the ponytail effortless gliding away on the elliptical machine. So instead I kept sneaking peeks every 30 seconds....
The next morning James woke us up for the final time. Madoka had fussed during the night when she was hungry, but each time I managed to fall back to sleep. Beside me, I could hear Kitty and Brittany complain mildly about the movement. James, however, would not be denied. "Sorry my loves, but the AI just said that Bethany is awake, and I thought I'd collect her. Janice, I'm sorry I couldn't come and collect you when you woke," he said as he left the room at a near run. "Hey, I woke up...
The brief baby boom ended eight days later and the population of our colony had increased by forty-eight children. Every one of the original thirty-seven female concubines gave birth although only Madison, one of Linus Van Stern's concubines, gave birth to twins. She was thrilled to have her third and fourth children and was soon offering to set up a day care and baby-raising clinic for any concubines needing a break. Her master simply glowed that he now had two sons and a new daughter to go...
Whitney was still hugging Tamara when a man entered the command post from the teleport room's passageway. "Hey! It's the unattached slut! Are you giving it out now! You refused me on the ship! You're unattached and can't do that!" The man reached out to grab Whitney. His hand had barely touched her when James burst from his chair and in a flying tackle slammed the man against the wall of the room. "Tamara, get her out of here. Xavier! Get me whoever is in charge of the Tintagel...
Tina and I made our way to the doorway and headed out. It was clear that the conversation had turned to technical matters regarding the repairs and James would be tied up for some time. He waved as we left but was quickly pulled back to one of the panels to start reviewing the damage and suggested repairs to Tintagel Castle. In the hallway we found Alexis walking with a couple of the concubines from Tintagel. Both were wearing splints and bandages obviously created by tearing up a shift. She...
The next week it seemed I spent much of my time finding excuses to hide in the household pod or the Concubine's refuge. James had locked William in an otherwise unused habitat pod near the original command center, but the crew of Tintagel Castle proved to include nine more men who refused to keep their hands to themselves. Most of the concubines figured that out the first night when these men spent much of the welcome party drunkenly calling for Lindsay, Bonnie and Cleo to perform lap...
Life settled down again once Tintagel Castle left for home. As expected, Brent's retest scored him as a five nine and James quickly ordered him thrown in a recycler. After that, the citizens appeared to be concentrating on the slow expansion of the colony and setting up the new living area for visiting crews. The musical practice was now all about perfecting the dances and singing. As we could all see it coming together there was a contagious enthusiasm creeping into the concubines. Anytime...
Just then the AI started to sound an alert. "We have ship entry jump points forming." "One or two," James shouted as he stood up, carefully lifting me up and setting me down as he did. "Three," the AI stated. "One is along the vector leading to Borneo. The other two ships jumped from within Sa'arm controlled space." My master barely paused. "Tyson, Linus, to the gun controls. I'll take laser one, gunners, get to the laser chambers and suit up. Tam, Tif, get to the command center...
James shook his head and looked up. "Terrence, start bringing all the injured from Freya over. Coordinate with their staff and bring the hurt ones over when gurneys are available. Let's get them medical attention quickly." "We're already on it," Donna said. "David, Elle and Robert are standing by with gurneys. Lindsay and Ed have headed to our multi-use room and are going to set up to treat the non-critical cases there. Craig and Tom are setting things up there." "Maggie has the...
"Bit of a walk isn't it?" Tanya said with a smile. "It's outside the citizen zone," I admitted. "But you had wounded so we teleported you in at our command post. I'm not sure we have a teleport near here yet. This is new." "Will all my crew be here?" Tanya asked. "Probably not," I said. "The walking wounded you had were directed to one of the rooms we have near our medical center. If there are free pods they'll rotate the people through." Tanya nodded. "On that note, how...
Bethany had my daughter on a changing table when I walked in. She smiled at me. "Don't worry, I don't mind changing babies. Especially when it's the child of my sister." She lifted Madoka up and carried her over to me. With a gentle touch she laid Madoka in my arms. I looked down at the child I had brought into the world. She was now just over two months old and still spent the majority of her time sleeping, but right then she was awake and reached out her tiny hands to grab at my...
The departure of Freya brought peace to Ishtar. Janice continued to lead rehearsals of the musical. We now had a complete show that lasted just over seventy minutes. It was almost ready, and we were becoming increasingly worried that the secret would be revealed. Janice insisted that conversations about our work be kept to the Concubine's Refuge to prevent accidentally revealing our plans. The citizens seemed rather distracted though. James and Yvette seemed to spend hours in the command...
My master appeared to shake himself awake. "Damn, we don't need more trouble here. Michelle try to contact Borneo, we need to see if Admiral Himmel knows anything about this Chief Scientist." "Is that even a rank?" Tiffany asked. "Who knows," Yvette responded while massaging her temples. "But from the attitude on that man, he believes it means quite a bit." Janice looked around. "Are these alien artifacts really that important." I heard a snort. I turned to see where it came...
For the next three days, the colony was bustling with activity. Under the direction of Marina, who proved to have been a hotel maid back on Earth before becoming Shawna's concubine, thirty pods were organized, cleaned and prepared for occupation. Most were set up so they had multiple dwellings each set up like a hotel suite with a central meeting and relaxation room and two separate sleeping areas. Others were organized more like barracks with enough beds to handle one of the squads the vice...
Nightmares caused Janice to toss and turn most of the night. I held her close and tried to kiss the dreams away, but her mumbled words made it clear she was worried about the musical. During the first part of the night she woke me four times, before finally settling down sometime during Devil hour. After the dreams faded she was sleeping so peacefully that when Joy woke up hungry early in the morning I fed her myself rather than wake my friend. I ended up having to go downstairs to wake...
Madoka was hungry. Once I offered her a meal, she drank it down. Afterwards she fidgeted for only a moment before closing her eyes again. I was not completely surprised, as she had been awake for the last hour as I memorized the seating chart. Once she was slumbering in one of the cribs set up in the backstage nursery, I hurried back to the theater, prepared to lead the citizens to their seats. Janice met me at the curtain. She seemed a bit distracted, but held up a hand for me to pause. I...
I slowly climbed back to consciousness. Fog seemed to cloud my head, clearing briefly as a loud hiss broke through my muddled thoughts. I tried to sit up, but a firm hand on my left shoulder kept me lying flat. "Don't move yet," Shawna's voice instructed me. "Open your eyes and look at me." Bright almost blinding light caused me to gasp, but I held them open and turned my head towards the voice. Shawna stood next to me. My position put me about her waist level. Glancing down I could...
James looked over at Janice and me. "Are you sure you can perform?" he asked. Janice giggled. "Why wouldn't we be able to perform? It should be easier the second time. We won't have as many first performance jitters." "And we won't worry about disappointing you," I whispered. "I missed so many notes while I was playing." Janice looked at me. "I thought the orchestra was struggling a bit. What was going on?" I shrugged. "Rather than using the sheet music, the AI was...
The next morning I woke slowly. Arms were draped over my body, pressing me into the mattress. Raising my head, I found that Kitty was snuggled in tight to my right side while Bethany was on my left side. My motion caused Kitty to shift in her sleep and I was able to crawl out of the intertwined limbs. The door to the bedroom was open and I could hear a baby stirring in our living room. Taking soft steps to avoid waking my family, I eased my way to the door. In the living room, I found all...
After we finished feeding our children, Mickey, Cleo and I took them back to the cribs before we each grabbed some lunch. During our meal we talked a bit about the music we were playing. "I knew music like this existed, but this is more fun than I ever imagined," Mickey said. "And last night was ... wow! I could feel the way the audience reacted." Cleo nodded. "It is powerful. We need to be feeding that by playing our best." I blew out a raspberry. "More practice." The others...
Mickey, Cleo and I were the last three to leave the theater. We exited the airlock to find our sister concubines waiting. I found myself showered with hugs and kisses. "That was so much fun!" Tina squealed. "We have to do that again." "It was definitely fun," Bethany said calmly. "And there is no question that James and the others liked watching it." "Totally" Kitty said. "You realize that every citizen snuck in to watch it a second time." "Every one?" I asked. "Who was in...
"You need to get that fire out!" I heard Timothy shout. "It's too close to your missile magazine." "The magazine is empty!" a female voice called back. "We shot everything during our breakout from Ursus!" "I'm not worried about an explosion," Timothy called back. "The smoke from that fire will be poisonous if it reaches the loading tubes. Those tubes contain heavy metals that you really don't want to breathe." "Everyone here is in suits!" the voice cried back. "We...
I returned to our home hallways in time to catch James coming out of the command post. With Diana and Ingrid's help I cornered him in the hallway and ordered him to throw me over his shoulder and take me back to our home to ravish me. He did after telling the AI to order Bethany home. James did not really ravish me though. He jumped into the shower while Bethany and I fed our daughters and then pulled us into the hot tub for an hour of playful fun. Bethany held onto him at the end of that...
The next four weeks passed peacefully. We saw visits from several ships, but none were heavily damaged. The longest stay was the corvette Aspen, which arrived with a missile jammed in its starboard tube. Terrence and Louis spent four hours with the AI carefully manipulating the missile until they could pull it free from the launcher. My tapestry was completed, and now hanging near the first door separating the enclave from the visitors part of the colony. Janice had claimed the loom and was...
Kitty staggered one time when a powerful contraction wracked her body, but otherwise we were able to reach the medical bay without problems. The door slid opened as we approached and Shawna dashed out. "It's nice to have some good news," she cried as she gave Kitty a quick hug before taking my friend's right arm and offering support. "How bad are the contractions?" "I've only had one," Kitty moaned. "At least only one I felt. Ooooh." "Two," Brittany chirped with a...
We raced up the hallway. Ahead, I could see smoke and hear shouts. The shouts were filled with panic. The smoke quickly got thicker and I nearly ran into Patty when she stopped. "Patty!" I heard Reggie shout. "What happened to Craig and Robert?" "The AI reported that a section of the ceiling collapsed and trapped them," Patty said as she pushed the gurney against the wall. "Meiko and I brought gurneys though." Reggie nodded and seemed about to say more when the AI spoke....
I wanted to speak up once we were past the marines, but before I could gather my courage James turned to Yvette. "It's clear that our friend the governor is out to cause trouble. We should not let him know about the fact that we have access to the three common rooms just yet. However, make sure that all citizens use the ice rink to move back and forth for now. I don't want us confronting his goon squad just yet." Yvette nodded. "In fact, I'd take that further and stop all transit...
The statement from Governor Johanes lowered the temperature in the room even as James shifted his weight. My master seemed ready to lunge forward across the table and I held him tighter, trying to keep him from getting in trouble. It seemed he was not going to calm down and I was starting to lose my grip. "Excuse me, James?" a feminine voice said. I had my eyes closed as I strained to keep James in his chair and had not seen anyone approach. James tensed one more time and then seemed to...
I held Brittany in my arms as the door to the skating rink opened. Esther and the male concubine Petey stepped into the hallway. Kitty immediately noticed the young man. "Oh, a loincloth. I like the look." Petey blushed and stepped a little away from Kitty, who immediately turned to Esther. "The AI suggested that Brit and I be here now. What's happening?" Esther sighed. "Let's just say that Governor Johanes offered us an extremely clear example of the kind of leadership he offers....
Janice and I arrived home to find Bethany, Tina and Kitty sitting around the table. Bethany looked up from the game they were playing and waved us over. "We'll deal you in next game," she told us. "James is right now giving Brittany..." "Four hours of bliss!" Kitty shouted. Bethany smiled at the interruption. Tina ignored the interplay and began moving cards on the table. The game they were playing was an elaborate card game where cards on the table were purchased with cards held in...
I woke back up slowly. Around me I could hear the gentle breathing of my sister concubines. I peeked around to find them slumbering with me in the bed. Rising further, I was disturbed that James was not sharing the bed. Immediately I started to climb over Tina, who was lying by the edge of the bed. My left foot was about to touch the floor when Tina suddenly rose up and grabbed me around the waist. I sucked in my breath to scream only to find a hand slapped over my mouth. "Don't," Tina...
James jumped away from the laser and waved to Tina and me. "Head to the briefing room," he ordered us. Tina dashed off, but I waited among the hanging fabric panels that shielded the ready room from the spray designed to counteract the acid atmosphere as James walked toward the exit. "Who was that?" the major snapped as James approached the exit. I slipped a bit deeper but remained close enough to hear the conversation. "Sounded like Ulla," James said. "I've looked over the list of...
I ran from the command post. Behind me, I could hear that the conversations had definitely calmed down. Ahead, the hallways were silent. My progress to my home was uninterrupted as I rushed to Janice and Bethany. I arrived to find Janice laying Madoka on the couch. My sister concubine looked at me and laughed. "Great timing. I just changed Madoka and was going to bring her to you so you could feed her." "Where are Kitty, Brittany and Bethany?" I asked as I walked over to pick up my...
In the command post, everyone continued their frantic work to help save the ships and their crews. I could hear Ulla and Tiffany talking with Captain Travis and Captain Gates. Ulla was a bit confused at one point, but Tiffany's quiet confidence kept her at her post. James had finally dragged Janice and me over to a padded chair. He flopped into the chair and I quickly pushed Janice into his lap. My sister concubine quietly held on to our master. I was looking around for another chair when...
Bethany walked forward once Brad had left the room. I was puzzled by her action until she reached down to pick up something. It took just a moment for me to recognize that it was the uniform Captain Gates had been wearing when she first arrived. "We definitely should return that to her soon," I said. Bethany nodded, but made no move to exit the transporter room. Instead, she walked over to stand next to me at the control panel. I turned to ask her a question as the speakers started to...
