The Demon King was attacking the world... one of many down a long line, really. In truth, no one in the world could quite remember when a demon king, or lord, queen... and that one odd time when the bishop of darkness came... but, I digress! Nobody could quite remember when some dark lord wasn't attacking the kingdoms for some reason or another.
Once more, a hero rose, possessing power beyond those that the normal population possessed. Chosen by the gods, strongest willed, or maybe just that fellow that had one to many 'herbal suppliments' to his diet when he was young. Leading a band to the holy city of Rem, the one kingdom that always held back the darkness. Sure, nobody ever questioned their heavy expansion, imperial nature... because it was always Rem that held the darkness [back.
It would be from here that the hero, let's call him Hiro, had gathered his party. It was looking... well, quite female really. It seems Hiro was going for the harem ending, and had managed to recruit every fine piece of ass from the lands he traveled.
There was the childhood friend, who somehow received enough martial arts training to put disciplined monks to shame... despite her young age, and overly developed breasts. The dark haired beauty kept her hair in a long pony tail, while large blue eyes looked about in wonder. The brown haired mage, having large, doe eyes, and a body that... well, it seemed like she'd be having some terrible back problems later on in life. Honestly, her breasts are bigger than her head, and you might as well just tattoo 'child baring' on them. With a short skirt, and low top, no wonder monsters were always after her. She said it was spells, but I think they had very lewd intent. Despite this... she is not our focus.
No... our focus was this sad excuse for a creature. Standing an arms reach below the hero, Prince Ribbiton Croaksworth, of the far kingdom of Swampland.... yes, I know, they weren't very inventive when they named it. This squat creature, dressed in royal finery, and a silly crown is our focus. With a pudgy body, and long limbs, and a distinctly frog like face, the only remarkable thing about him was the heavy crown he wore on his head.
In truth, Prince Ribbiton was a Boggart, one of the few demi humans that had never joined up with whatever dark lord at the time. It was impolite, after all, to want to genocide all other races because they didn't like your face. Boggarts were, if nothing else, polite creatures. Strange, most definately. Odd customs? Indeed! Giant Dicked, with the ability to have multiple orgasms and both male and female? Why yes indeed. While it wasn't publicly known, Boggarts had always been sexual beings by nature. But most other races found such subject taboo, so Boggarts politely kept such information to [themselves.
As for why Prince Ribbiton was in Rem... well, he was coming of age, and needed a bride. While the creatures reached adulthood at 15, they were expected to marry, and have tadpoles by the age of 20. Young, perhaps, but that was custom. He had come to see about marrying the princess... but had been politely refused at the door. And currently, he was missing his royal sword, as well as his traveling money.
The hero and his companions, seeing this poor creature, stopped. For perhaps no other reason but to gawk at it, and wonder why one of the demon lord's minions was... well, standing perfectly out in the open. Finally, the silence was broken.
"Is... is that a 'frog'?" The childhood friend blinked, and Prince Ribbiton scowled in indignity. He was about to give this girl a long lecture, until the second girl spoke.
"No, he's a Boggart." All was forgiven by that beaming smile.
"So... what's a Boggart doing here?"
"Looking for a princess to marry, to further my kingdom." Bowing, he introduced himself. He was charming enough, for a frog. And Hiro was taken with him. I think. To be honest, Hiro doesn't talk much. But his companions did. And then, the item of his current misery came up.
"Well, Prince..." The mage, outspoken, stated. "Shouldn't you be in some fancy inn?"
"Alas, I cannot!" Which was true. While the sword was a trinket, few people took credit from a monster like creature. "For it was stolen.. perhaps... perhaps you may fetch it for me?"
While the others debated, Hiro finally, silently nodded. "Alas, I must also ask another favor... you see, I don't feel safe alone."
That was also true. "Without my trusty sword.... I am quite defenseless."
That part was false. For Lord Ribbiton was a... well, worthless swordsman would shame worthless swordsmen around the world. But as a mage, he was gifted enough. Especially with status effects, such as charm, and forget. In truth, he had avoided most fights simply by making monsters and demons forget he was ever there. The real reason was simple. He was horny, and it dawned on him that perhaps one of these lovely vixens could be a 'princess' candidate.
While for most, such an endevour was a long courtship. Holding hands, bashful looks, for a tasteful and heartfelt love scene at the end of it. But Boggarts were different They loved sex, but needed to test their partner's compatibility to, well... take them.
