Part 1
Ah The Great Shift. It was a great shift indeed. It totally changed my
life, along with the rest of the world. So I'll start from the beginning.
My name is Steve. I'm your average 15 year old kid. Not to popular,

During Math class one day, Rob, one of my best friends, turned around and
asked "So are we still going to the movies tomorrow night?"

"Don't worry man, I'm not gonna steal her away from you", I say. "I

"That's true", he said sounding relieved.

The next day I arrived at History a little late. After running down the hallway
I finally reached the room. I peered in to see what was going on. It didn't
look like the teacher was in there so I started to walk in. A hand grabbed me

"Why are you tardy Mr. Edwards", he scolded.

class you wouldn't have caught me now would you?", I said being the wise

I ran to my seat and sat down. I always loved first period because I sat right
next to Rachel.
"Ya know, you have to stop coming to class late. Your gonna LC", Rachel
said.
"Aw Rooney's a pain in the ass anyway, don't worry", I said.
I love sitting with Rachel but the class itself is so fucking boring. I have to
fight to stay awake. So after what seemed like 2 hours the bell finally rang
and we all left the room. Me and Rachel walked out arm in arm.
"Ya know I really don't want you to LC the class. Its the only class I get to
sit next to a cutie like you", she said smiling.
There she goes again. She's always tempting me into thinking she likes me.
She's a real flirt sometimes. Don't get me wrong I like the attention, but
knowing that she already has a boyfriend drives me insane. I had to say
something to her.
"There ya go again! Why do you do this to me?", I asked releasing my arm
from hers.
"Do what?", she asked, a little startled.
"You always say things like 'Oh your such a cutie' and 'Your the sweetest
guy I know' and shit like that! How can I help but like you? I mean sweet
fucking Christ its like your tempting me 24 hours a day. I like the attention
and all but deep inside you love another. How do you think that makes me
feel? Your all that I've ever looked for in another human being. Next to Sam
you have the coolest personality of any girl I've ever met. I have never had a
girlfriend before, and its because I'm looking for just the right girl. Someone
I can relate to, someone who likes my sense of humor, someone who's a lot
like me! And you fit all those categories. I love you Rachel and nothing can
stop me from loving you.", I said starting to cry.
I could tell she was hurt. Tears started forming in her eyes. I was starting to
regret saying all that but I had to let it out. Then she looked me in the eyes
and said "Fuck you" and stormed off.

Later that day I was walking down the hall with Sam explaining what had
happened with me and Rachel. God I felt horrible. But whenever I need
someone to talk to, Sam is the first person I go to.
"I had no idea you felt that way about her", Sam said to me.
"Yeah well I fucked that up so what does it matter?", I replied.
She could tell I was upset.
"Steve I've never seen you like this before", she said becoming more
concerned.
"Yeah well I've never felt so hurt before", I told her, tears forming in my
eyes again.
"Aww come here", she gave me a big hug.
Then I heard a familiar voice.
"Oh look at Steve getting his freak on with Sam"
I looked up to see Tommy, Paul, and Alyson. Tommy was a huge black guy,
not really attractive, but not ugly, plays football, and could probably tear my
arm out of its socket. Paul was Rachel's older brother, he's a sophomore
while we are all freshmen but he's cool to hang out with. And Alyson was a
cute little Asian girl that was Sam's best friend.
"Dude I'm not in the mood right now", I said to Tommy.
"Sorry about you and my sister dude", Paul said.
"You know about that already?", I asked, a little surprised.
"Yeah I saw her in the hall crying and she told me what happened", he
explained.
"What did you do to that poor girl?", Alyson asked.
"I told her how I felt!", I explained. "Jeez is that a crime"
"Aww I'm sorry Stevey", Alyson said comforting me.

"Thanks for caring", I said feeling somewhat better.
"Steve the pimp", Tommy joked.
I managed to smile a little. I was starting to feel a little better. Then Rachel
walked by. I knew I had to apologize to her. I ran up and grabbed her arm.
"Rachel, I'm really sorry. What I did was wrong and stupid. I shouldn't of
put you in that situation. It was unfair.", I apologized.
She looked at me in disgust. "I don't even want to look at you anymore"
She turned to walk away and I tried to pull her back. Suddenly the ground
started shaking. We bot looked around in confusion until it went black.

Part 2
I woke up feeling extremely odd. My body ached all over. I sat up feeling
extremely dizzy. I tried opening my eyes but it was all blurry. I waited for my
vision to clear. I looked around and saw everyone passed out on the floor. I
saw a few kids who were awake and feeling their bodies as if they've never
seen them before. One of them was Alyson. Her face was almost white with
fear. Then she looked at me.
"Rachel what the fuck happened?", she asked.
Rachel? Why did she call me Rachel? I brushed my back away from my face.
Wait! Since when is my hair long enough to dangle in front of my eyes? Then
Alyson stood up and looked down at Tommy's body.
"Holy shit!! That's my body. That's my body!!!", she screamed pointing at
Tommy's body laying lifeless on the ground.
I thought Alyson had finally lost it until I looked down at myself. I had on a
tight brown shirt with two little lumps poking out on it. Breasts? They
couldn't be. Then I recognized the shirt I was wearing. It was the shirt
Rachel was wearing earlier before that earthquake hit. The earthquake! I
completely forgot. I started to stand up but almost fell over from all the
dizziness. When I finally got my balance I saw something I really didn't
want to. It was me. My body! But how is that possible? Then is started
making sense. I finally said something to Alyson.
"Alyson, what the happened?", I asked startled at the sound of my own
voice.
"I'm not Alyson!! I'm Tommy!", Alyson's body screamed. "What the fuck is
going on here?"
Then it hit me. I was Rachel! Somehow people had switched bodies. But
how is that possible?? Maybe it was that odd earthquake. It had to be! Since
when are there earthquakes in Maryland?
"This cant be happening to me", I said exploring my new body.
"You? Look at me! I used to be huge, now I'm a small ass little GIRL!!",
Alyson's body screamed. It then hit me that it was Tommy in there.
"Tommy? Is that you?", I asked Alyson's body.
"Yeah", he said starting to cry.
Well at least I know who someone is. I am now in Rachel's body and
Tommy is in Alyson's.
"Who are you?", he managed to say in between sobs.
"Its me Steve, somehow we all switched bodies", I explained.
"This is fucking crazy!", he screamed.
Then Sam started waking up. Or I guess I should say Sam's body. There
could be anyone in there. Then she looked at me.
"Oh my god Rachel your ok!", she screamed and ran up to me and gave me a
hug and wouldn't let go. "I hope that earthquake didn't scare you"
And then without warning Sam's body kissed me hard on the lips. I was a
little startled at first but then kind of got into it. Then she broke the kiss.
"I'm so glad we survived th..", she said trailing off. She was so happy to be
alive she didn't notice the sound of her own voice. "What happened to my
voice?"
"Who are you?", Tommy asked.
"Holy shit! I'm a girl!", Sam's body said grabbing at her breasts.
Then Tommy's body slowly awoke. He looked around in confusion then
saw Alyson's body and his eyes got bug eyed.
"That's my body!", Tommy's body screamed at Alyson's body.
From the looks of it Tommy and Alyson had switched with each other!
"Oh my god I'm huge......I'm Tommy!", she screamed. "This cant be
happening"
"Well I'm afraid it is", I said.
"Rachel?", she looked puzzled.
"Nope, Steve", I said.
Alyson in Tommy's body ran up to me. She stared at me hard.
"Steve? That's you in there?", she asked.
"Yeah, creepy huh?"
The we all heard some screaming down the hall way. Apparently this
affected everyone in school.
"This is fucked up man!", Sam's body screamed.
"Who are you?", I asked.
"I'm Zach, your boyfriend, for some reason I'm stuck in a girls body! You
have to believe me", he explained to me thinking that I was Rachel.
"I'm not Rachel, I'm Steve, Steve Edwards", I said to him.
"Your the asshole that made Rachel cry! I'd kick you ass if you weren't in
my girlfriends body.......and I wasn't a pansy ass girl", he said.
This has been quite the day.

Part 3
After hours of confusion we figured out who most people were. I was now
Rachel, the girl I love, Tommy and Alyson switched bodies, Zach, Rachel's
boyfriend was in Sam's body, Sam was now Paul, and Rachel was now me.
We figured that since me and Rachel were holding hands during the
earthquake, that's why we switched bodies. Same thing with Tommy and
Alyson. Everyone else was mixed up beyond confusion. People just ended
up in random bodies.
"I could get used to this", Zach said rubbing his new boobs.
Rachel smacked him in the back of the head and said "Knock it off!"
"Ow ya bitch!", he screamed back.
Then Rachel looked at me. "Well I guess you got what you wanted, and
that's me", she said. "And now you ARE me"
I could tell she was still upset. I didn't know what to say. I just hung my
head in shame. This whole thing was driving me crazy.
"You think I wanted this to happen!", I screamed at her. "You think I want
to be a girl? This is the weirdest fucking thing that's ever happened to me.
I've got tit for Christ's sake!!"
I started crying. "I just don't want this to be permanent"
Rachel could tell I was upset about this whole thing. She walked up to me
and we started hugging me. What was really weird was that I was hugging
myself. I was so much shorter than my old body. But I just kept on crying.
"Its gonna be ok", she said comforting me.
I started to get a hold of myself. Then I heard more crying, but it wasn't me.
I started walking toward the crying. When I turned the corner I saw my
friend Ashley curled up in a ball sobbing. I knew it wasn't her in there.
"Hey are you alright?", I asked.
"Oh my god, Rachel, you have to help me! I'm not Ashley. Its me Rob"
Holy shit! I completely forgot about Rob. Well at least I know he's safe.
"Dude its me Steve", I said trying to calm him down.
"Steve?", he looked at me shocked.
I nodded.
"Your fucking hot", he managed to say while still in tears, trying to lighten
up the subject. I couldn't help but smile. That was Rob alright. He was
always cracking jokes. It seems that it doesn't matter what body he's in.
"Your not that bad lookin yourself", I smiled. "Come on, I'll bring you to
the others"
"Ok"
I helped him up. He still seemed to be groggy. He could barely walk. So I
put one of his arms around my shoulder and walked him to the others. His
dangling hand brushed up against my chest.
"Hands off my tit", I joked.
He laughed.
When we reached the others Rachel came running toward Rob.
"Ashley are you ok?", she asked.
"Rob's fine, I don't know about Ashley though", I said.
"That's Rob?", Tommy asked.
"Yeah"
Rachel hugged Rob trying to comfort him, he was still a little shook up. Zach
started playing with himself again.
"Sweet Jesus your perverted!", Rachel screamed at him.
"Sorry babe, its not everyday I have these things", he said indicating his
breasts. "Your just jealous cause you never had much of a chest anyway"
Rachel seemed really upset by that remark. Why would her own boyfriend
say that about her? She walked up to Zach and smacked him across the face.
"You bastard", she screamed.
The impact sent Zach strait to the floor. He wasn't used to being so Weak and
Rachel had no idea she was that strong. She seemed amazed by Her new
found strength.
"Damn that was cool!", Tommy screamed. "Hit him again!"
Tommy was getting caught up in the moment.
"Don't you dare", screamed Sam "That's my body your knocking around"
I walked up to Sam and said "Ya know technically we are brother and Sister.
Pretty weird huh?"
"Yeah I never thought about that", she said.
Then something hit me like a pile of bricks. If me and Sam were now in the
bodies of a brother and sister, what about all the other families? I mean, I'm
guessing that the switched affected everyone around here.
"What about all our families?", I asked. I guess no even thought about that.
Everyone stood in silence. I could tell they were as worried as me.
I continued "I mean what do we do? Do we go back to or real families or The
ones of the bodies were now in?", I asked.
"I say we go to our original homes first and find out where our parents are",
Rob suggested.
I had to agree with him "I'm with Rob, I'm going home"
Part 4
Me, Rachel, and Tommy walked home together since we all lived in the
same neighborhood. We decided to stop by Rachel's house first. When we
walked in the house it was all trashed from the earthquake.
"Mom!", Rachel screamed. "Are you home?"
No answer. We decided to check out the house.
"I'll go upstairs, Tommy you check out back, Rachel you check out this
floor", I ordered.
Tommy went into the backyard. He saw two bodies laying lifelessly on the
ground. They were the bodies of Rachel's mom and little two year old
brother. He walked over to Rachel's mom and started shaking her in an
attempt to wake her up. Her eyes started to open. Then she looked at Tommy
as if he recognized her.
"Alyson?", she asked. "Where are we?"
"I'm not Alyson, I'm Tommy", he said.
"Tommy?", she said confused. "But how?"
"Do you remember the earthquake?", Tommy asked.
"Yeah, kind of, why?", she said, still a shook up.
Then she glanced down at her chest.

Rachel searched around the kitchen first. Didn't seem to be anyone in there.
Then something rammed into her leg. She saw her cat. It started running
around hysterically. Rachel realized that that wasn't her cat.
"So this thing had caused people to switch with animals too", she thought to
herself.
She continued looking around until she found the body of her older sister
Dara lying on the floor. She looked badly bruised. Just the sight of her sister
looking this way brought tears to her eyes. Then it dawned on her that that
wasn't even her sister in there. Rachel burst out into tears. She never really
thought about how this would effect their family. Knowing that her sister
could be in any body in the world. Hell she could be the CAT for all she
knew. She walked over to her sister's body and hugged it. There she just sat
and cried.

I figured I was going to find a lot of confused people in this house
considering Rachel had 5 other brothers and sisters. I checked Alexis's room
first. She was 12 years old, the youngest of the daughters. As I opened the
door I heard a scream.
"Who's there!", the voice screamed. "Show yourself"
I slowly walked into the room. I saw Rachel's sister. She was about 12 years
old and had her sisters looks.
"I'm not going to hurt you, I know your not who you appear to be", I said.
"In fact I'm a guy"
"You are?", she seemed a little relieved. "So am I, well at least I used to be"
"What's your name?", I asked.
"Craig. Craig Edwards.", she responded.
My heart sunk. I couldn't believe what this girl had just told me. The name I
hadn't heard for years. The man who left my mother when I was 10 years old
and left my mom to watch over me and my younger brother all by herself.
The man in this girl's body was my father.
"Dad?", I asked starting to get a little shook up.
"Excuse me?", she was a little puzzled.
Part 5
"Dad its me, Steve, your son", I said, my heart beating rapidly.
"Steve?", he said, now looking more scared than he was before.
"Yeah", I said, smiling with Rachel's lips.
He ran up to me and we hugged. He started crying heavily. I was trying to
hold it in. Then I remembered that this was the asshole that abandoned us a
long time ago. I quickly broke the hug, pushing my father to the floor.
"Steve, what's wrong?", he asked as if he didn't know already.
Now I was starting to cry. "You know damn why!", I screamed. "How the
Fuck could you leave mom to raise us all by herself? You should see her!
She's a wreck. I'm the one that's had to be the man of the house ever since
you left. Always watching out for my little brother"
He could tell I was hurt. By the look on his new feminine face I could Tell he
knew I was pissed. Just then Rachel walked in. I didn't even Notice her
come in. I just continued with my screaming.
"You give me one good reason why I shouldn't beat the shit out of you right
now?", I screamed. He didn't say a word. He just looked at the floor in
shame. "That's what I thought", I said as I walked over and smacked him
across the face he now possessed.
"Steve!", I heard a familiar voice scream. The voice of my former self. The
voice of Rachel. She took me by surprise. I didn't even hear her Come in.
Probably because I was screaming to much. I just looked at her. Staring into
the eyes I once had, now don't.
"I..I ..I'm sorry", I sniffled, trying to hold in the tears. I sat down on the
floor. My face buried in Rachel's soft feminine hands.
"What happened here?", my old body asked.
"That's my father", I said pointing to the body of what used to be Rachel's
sister.
"I've never even seen your father", she said.
"Yeah well that's cause he ditched us along time ago", I explained.
"Look Steve, I never meant to hurt you", my father tried to explain.
"Then why did you leave?", I asked.
"I'm afraid I cant answer that", he said.
Then I got up and stormed out of the room. Rachel and Craig just stared at
each other in complete silence. Finally Craig broke the silence.
"So this is what my son looks like now", he said staring at Rachel.
Examining the body she now wore.
"Used to look like", Rachel said, leaving the room.

I stormed down the hall. I was furious! I tried to keep calm. This isn't The
best time to worry about my bastard of a dad. I was in a girl's body for shit's
sake! Suddenly a hand grabbed my shoulder and pulled me back. It was
Rachel.
"I'm really sorry about what your father did to you", she said.
"You would know how I feel", I mumbled.
"Well I can tell your upset", she said. "Is there anything I can do to make

"Its good to see you to", I paused. "Who are you?"
"Its me Paul, I'm in mom's body. I know it sounds crazy but its true. And
that's Tommy! He's in Alyson's body.", he was starting to get hysterical.
"Paul its alright, everything will be just fine. Now why don't you lay down
on the couch again and get some rest", I said.
"Thank you Rachel, you were always good to me", he said.
"I'm Steve"
"What!", he screamed. "Your in my sister's body!"
"Looks that way"
"Oh my god this is so bizarre", he said. "Then where's the real Rachel? Is
she ok?"
"I'm fine", my former body said.
"Rachel? Your Steve?", he asked.
"Looks that way", Rachel said. "But don't worry, I'm still your sister, its
just that I'm a boy now"
Paul fainted.

What a confusing mess this has become. I have no idea what were going to
Do with our lives. Should we find our real parents? Or live the lives of the
bodies we now inhabit? It would be easier on me because I'm still a teen and
haven't lost any youth, only my manhood. But poor Paul, he has to live the
rest of his life as his mom! I mean, she's an attractive women, but how
would you like to get up in the morning, look in the mirror, and see the face
of your own mother. I could still tell Paul was freaked by all of this. He

I had to agree. I mean, being Rachel is kind of cool! I love the way my skin

body further but not with everyone around. Especially Rachel. I don't think
she'd approve of it. Now that I thought about it, none of us have been able to
really get the feel of our new bodies. Its been way to hectic around here to
even care about it. I've been to worried about my family and if were ever
going to get back to our original bodies, that I never took the time to notice
