I was not a devout Christian but I did believe in the Christian teachings. So I agreed to meet her and at least listen to her side of things.
I walked in the pub about 2 PM. It was very dark inside compared to the brilliant afternoon sun. It took me several moments to have my eyes adjust to see Kim sitting at our old favorite booth. She was wearing the bright yellow sundress that I had loved on her.

Kim finally said, "Dan, I have to explain to you what you heard and why what you heard it is not really anything to be upset about."
