Sunday night "Where the hell are you B?" Faith said as she dialed his number for the fifth time. Pacing back and forth she caught sight of the digital clock next to her bed, which read that it was nearly midnight. "Dammit B," Faith said leaving a fifth message on his voice mail. "You said you would call me back by ten o'clock and that almost two hours ago. I don't care where I have to go or what I have to do, I am going to get another one of those devices. You can either send me somewhere to try and track one down, or...or I'll go out on my own and find one. B..." Faith said changing her tone to calmer one, "Agent B, I know I am sounding crazy right now, but I have to help my sister, she's the only thing that matters right now. Please just call me and let me know if there is even the smallest possibility of a device being used anywhere on the planet and I will go there, find it and bring it back. Call me any time." Faith hung up the phone and wanted to put her fist through the wall. Pulling back her arm, her hand in a fist, she stared at the wall, but then let her arm fall loose to her side. She picked up the bottle of Jack Daniels that she had stolen from the liquor store earlier and took a large swallow. "Oh god I want to break something so badly." A knocked sounded at the bedroom door. Opening the door Faith saw her new roommate Michelle, a mirror perfect duplicate of herself, minus the slayer powers, who until yesterday had been a high school student named Matt. "James...oops, I mean Faith, there is some guy at the door." "Thanks Michelle." Faith said hurrying down the hallway. "Hi Faith." Agent K said as Faith opened the door. "I need to rent the apartment next door." He said with a smile. "Two hot brunettes, and twins no less, in the same apartment, you're going have guys lined up around the block trying to get in here." "I can take care of myself, now what the fuck do you want K." Faith said annoyed. "I am sure you can, but even a vampire slayer can use a little help at times. And that's why I am here, to offer you my services." "Well, if I need anyone shot, you'll be the first one I call." Faith said as she went to close the door. "Come on Faith, you need a friend now more than ever and I am willing to help you track down one of the...you know." Faith stopped the door mid slam and stared at Agent K for a moment. "Alright, come in." Matt/Michelle sat in the living room watching as the man in black enter the apartment. His eyes came in to contact with the man's and Michelle shyly looked away, redirecting her attention back to the enormous DVD collection at the entertainment center. "So how's the twin." K said indicating towards Michelle. "What can you do to help?" Faith said "Could we find some place a little more private to talk?" K said indicating towards Michelle. "I really want to keep this as quite as possible." "Come on." Faith said walking towards her bedroom. Agent K followed close behind as they entered the room and sat at the computer desk chair as Faith closed the door. "What can you do to help?" Faith said seriously. "Alright James, all kidding aside, I want to do what I can to help get your sister changed back. I know that I give you a hard time a lot, but I really want to help. You're my partner and I'm here to help." Faith looked at Agent K for a long moment then softened. "Kyle, I really fucked up." Faith said fighting back a wave of suppressed emotions. "If I had just taken 'the device' away from John when I had the chance then my sister would still be my sister and none of this would have ever happened." Faith said sitting on the edge of the bed fighting back tears. "But your dream..." "We don't know that my dreams can really see any part of the future. For all we know I could have taken the device and still..." "But now Linda would be dead instead of turned into John." Agent K interrupted. "We don't know that." "Yes we do." Agent K paused. "You know that it's true. At least she is still alive and you can...we will find another device and change her back." "Maybe your right, but I still feel like I have destroyed my sister's life." Faith said as tears began to run down her face. "Hey come on." Agent K compassionately as he got up and sat next to Faith on the bed. "We can still fix this. Linda is still alive and well, and as soon as we get a hold of a device then she will be back to normal." "What if we never find another one? What if that was the last working one on the planet?" Faith said and began to cry. Agent K gently turned Faith into his arms and she sobbed uncontrollably into his shoulder. "It's alright. You're going to get through this." He said reassuringly. Holding her tightly she cried into his shoulder for sometime. "I don't know what to do Kyle. Everything I seem to do is wrong, I feel like I can't do anything right." "It's alright Faith, somehow will fix all this and make everything alright." Faith pulled away and looked up at Kyle who looked at her with genuine concern in his eyes. A tear ran down her face and he reached out and tenderly brushed it off her cheek. Her heart pounding, Faith looked up into Kyle's face and stared into his eyes. Before she knew what she was doing she was leaning forward to kiss his lips. She slowly closed her eyes and slightly parted her lips in anticipation as she leaned her head forward. Suddenly Faith eyes snapped open and she stared bewilderedly at Agent K. "Faith?" Agent K said slightly surprised. Faith blinked and stared at Agent K in wide-eyed realization of what she had just tired to do. "You have to go." Faith said suddenly springing to her feet. "Faith, look its..." Agent K started to say, but Faith cut him off. "I'll talk to you tomorrow." Faith said storming over to the door and opening. "Faith?" Agent K said hesitantly. "Can I just say..." "Please?" Faith said looking at the floor. Without another word, Agent K got up and walked through the door, but stopped once he got to the other side. "I still want to help you Faith. I'll do whatever I can." "Thank you Kyle." Faith said shyly looking up to meet his gaze for a moment and then she closed the door. Faith stood listening at the door until she heard the front door open and close. "Oh my god." Faith said just under her breath as she paced around her room. "I almost kissed him. What the hell is wrong with me? I am guy, a man, a male. I am not attracted to men." Faith froze as she saw her reflection in the mirror. Her eyes fell to her chest and she stared at the two very erect nipples straining against the fabric of the top she wore. "I am turned on." Faith said surprised. "This isn't happening." Stunned, Faith was lost in thought for a moment until she remembered something and raced over to a manila envelope that sat on a dresser. She quickly tore it open and number of pamphlets fell out. Frantically she started going through them. She quickly through aside 'Finding out who you are now', then set to one side for reading one that said 'Dealing with your new gender', and then stopped when she saw 'Approved Counseling Services.' Quickly dialing the number hoping for an answering machine, Faith was surprised when a voice answered. "Dr. Greens answering service." A female voice said. "Uh, yes hello. I was calling to make an appointment." Faith said surprised. "Name please." "Faith...uh." Faith still wasn't sure what her last name was. "Ah yes, Ms. Faith." The woman's voice said. "The doctor can see you first thing in the morning at nine o'clock." "Tomorrow?" Faith said surprised. "If you would like a later date that can be arranged." The female voice said. "No, I am just...surprised that I could get an appointment so quick." Faith said and then thought of how efficient these government men really were. "Do you need directions?" "Uh, no. I have them here on the paper work." "Alright then, we will see you first thing in the morning. Goodnight." "Goodnight." Faith said numbly. Faith hung up the phone and then turned and looked at the mirror. With a scream she picked up a book and threw it at the mirror and watched as it shattered. "I don't want to like men." She said and collapsed onto the floor and began to sob uncontrollably. Monday morning Faith hadn't slept all night long and was exhausted when she went to meet her sister Linda. Faith felt a wave of depression wash over her as she saw her once beautiful sister, now an overweight class outcast named John, when she went to pick her up. She had wanted to cheer her up, but found that her sister was very optimistic about the whole experience. She believe that her 'Big Bro' would come through for her and find another device and change all of them back to normal. After spending some time with her Faith felt better and knew that she couldn't let her down. Faith had wanted to tell Linda about the strange feelings she was having and how she almost kissed Agent K the night before, but decided not to burdened her sister with it. "I'll be seeing you." Linda said getting out of the car in front of the high school. She closed the door and headed off towards the high school. Faith watched as one of John's friends approached Linda and started talking to her. Faith looked at the clock and headed off for her appointment with the therapist. Faith stared at the attractive older woman who sat opposite of her. The woman was neatly dressed. Her auburn hair was shoulder length and her eyes shown a shrewd intelligence. "So where do we begin?" Faith said. "Where ever you would like to start." Said Doctor Samantha Green. "Well, I would like to know how long you have been doing this, working for the government, I mean, and have you treated other...people like me?" Faith asked apprehensively. "I have been under a special governmental retainer for fifteen years. And if your are referring to other people who have transformed themselves in a similar manor as yourself, then yes I have treated quite a number." Faith sat quietly for a few minutes lost in thought. "So why have you come today Faith?" The Doctor asked. "It's a really long story." Faith began. "Well, take you time. You have as long as you need." Faith reluctantly began to tell the whole story. She told her of everything, in detail, that had happened to her from her initial transformation, what had happened to her friends, how she had to eventually 'slay' them, what happened to her brother, her strange dreams, what happened to her sister and finally, with much difficulty, the strange new feelings she was beginning to have and how she almost kissed a man the night before. "Faith what you are feeling is actually a very natural feeling." "Natural! I was turned on by a guy..." Faith protested, a slight quiver of anger in her voice. "That is not...normal for me." "Let me give you an example. Say you had chosen to turn yourself into a man with a dependency for crack cocaine. You being yourself you wouldn't want to use this drug and you ego could supersede your desire for it, but your body would still have a craving for it. And as time went on, you might find your willpower weakening as your body's desire grew stronger." "So what are you saying? Pretty soon I'm..." Faith's voice trailed off in a realization. "Not necessarily. Let me ask you a very frank question. Do you masturbate?" "Uh what?" Faith said embarrassed. "You mean as a woman?" "Yes." Dr. Green said frankly. "If you could turn back this very second, would you?" "I...couldn't." Faith said frustrated. "Why not?" "I can't until Linda is returned to normal and Dan is cured. It's my fault that they are...the way they are and I have to fix it." Faith said starting to cry. "Faith, they are not your responsibility." Dr. Green said. "Yes they are. I'm their older Brother. If I don't fix it, who will?" Faith said feeling emotionally exhausted. "Can we stop here?" "Of course we can." "Thank you." Faith said standing and heading for the door. "Should I make another appointment?" "That is up to you, but I think you should." "Can I call when I am ready?" "Of course you can." Doctor Samantha Green watched as Faith left the front office and headed for her car. She watched as she got in the car and drove away. A man dressed in black stepped into the room. "Did you hear?" Dr. Green asked. "Every word." The figure said stepping out from a room on the other side of a two-way mirror. "What is your recommendation? Is she malleable or will containment or extreme measures be necessary?" "I have a few concerns about subject James/Faith. I have done some extensive research in to the archetype he used to model himself after. From the television show, the Faith character has a deranged mind and is capable of all sorts of sadistic violence and cruelty. Subject James/Faith's files show several instances where she has lost control in a situation and resorted to mindless brutality. When I asked him about these episodes, he said that he just sort of 'blanked' out for a second. This could possibly become a more server trend as time goes on." "Then are you recommending containment?" "Could you even guarantee containment?" Dr. Green asked. "The 'area 51 boys' have come up with something that should work. Its recovered technology from the 'other source' and our people believe that they have found a way to adapt it for our own uses. She might be the perfect test case and we don't even have to keep her ourselves. Any facility would do." "That won't be necessary at this time. Luckily, Faith has two anchors that are keeping her rooted in reality, her sister and brother. As long as they are in need, that should keep her from submerging into the violent nature that is inherent with her rouge slayer persona." "Excellent! She would make the perfect operative until the final objective is obtained, but we have to be sure that we can control her. She will be no use to us otherwise." "Of course. The guilt she feels towards her brother and sister's predicament is the key. As long as we can promise them a possible cure, she will do as she is told, but if we were to ever loose that advantage, then she would start to become to unstable and my recommendation would be to eliminate her, but of course you can test you containment measures if you are so inclined." "You recommendation is noted, but remember, Faith is my concern and her future is mine to determine. Perhaps we can hedge out bets a little." The figure said and left the room. "I can't believe this!" Faith screamed when she had again gotten Agent B's voice mail. "B! I need your help. Call me. I saved the world from a vampire plague, you owe me!" Faith hung up the phone. Reflexively she reached for the bottle of Jack Daniels that she had stolen and took a swig. Surprised, she looked at the bottle then took another, longer drink. After several more drinks Faith felt a serious buzz and she made her way up to her bedroom. Setting the bottle down on the dresser, she looked into the mirror and sneered. "Listen you." Faith said drunkenly as she pointed at herself in the mirror. "I don't want to be you anymore. I am sick of looking at you. I just want to be me again. I just want to be James again." Faith took another drink then looked back at her reflection. "Why I couldn't I have turned myself into Willow, at least then I would still like girls." Another drink. "You...I almost kissed at guy. I don't want to...Kyle just seemed so...god, I really wanted to for a moment there, but I'll just have to make sure that never happens again." Another drink. "Like crack cocaine. Thanks a lot Dr. Green. That was a big help. Pretty soon I am going to be craving a dick? Not likely. When was the last time you masturbated you bitch?" Faith screamed at the mirror. Faith set down the bottle of Jack Daniels and looked at herself in the mirror. Slowly she reached down and pulled the shirt she was wearing over her head and let it drop to the floor. Her erect nipples could be seen the material of her sports bra. She ran her fingers across the surface of the bra and felt her firm nipple under her fingertips. She exhaled deeply as she pulled the sports bra over her head and dropped it. Staring longingly into the mirror, Faith let her hands find their way to the belt of her pants, which were quickly unfastened. She slowly unbuttoned the pants and unzipped them, letting them fall to the floor. Always keeping eye contact with her own reflection, she stepped out of the pants and stepped back a few feet to the bed. Slowly she brought her hands up to her breasts and gently began to fondle them. "Oh yes." Faith said breathlessly. Closing her eyes she leaned back on to the bed and continued to touch her nipples, gently squeezing them. Slowly, almost of it's own accord her right hand started to inch its way down to her underwear. Her hand slipped beneath her underwear and made contact with her womanhood. A tingling sexual spark shot through Faith's body making her toes curl slightly. She let out a gasp as she slowly manipulated herself. She let out a small whimper as the pleasure began to increase and then thoughtlessly she moaned. "Kyle." Faith's eyes snapped open and she sat up abruptly. "What the hell?" She said jumping to her feet and running into the bathroom. Quickly she turned on the shower to ice cold and with out even removing her underwear she stepped into the frigid water. "Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck." She screamed as the ice cold water ran over her body. For ten minutes she stood shivering, her teeth beginning to chatter as she tried to banish her sexual desires away. Eventually, goose bumps all over her body, her fingers and toes beginning to prune up, she step from the freezing water. "That's better." Faith said shivering as she grabbed a towel and dried off. "Now that is something to be erect about." Faith said drunkenly to her nipples, which were standing more erect than she had ever seen them before. She put on a robe and made her way back towards her Jack Daniels bottle. "Maybe I can at least drink away this problem?" She said picking up the bottle and heading down stairs. Her eyes instantly fixed on the blinking light of the answering machine. "B!" Faith said hitting the play button. The message began, but the voice wasn't Agent B, it was instead the adolescent male voice of John, who Faith recognized as her sister Linda. Linda's message told the story of her having a great first day, that she was doing really well pretending to be John, that everything was going great and that she planned to just walk to school on her own tomorrow. Faith couldn't believe it. "The voice sounded ok, but not even my sister could be doing this well in such a bad situation." Faith thought. "I still haven't come to terms with this...how could she?" Dizzily Faith stood up, walked back up the stairs, stripped off her wet clothes and collapsed on the bed. Tuesday Faith looked at the clock, which read 6am. She had gotten up twice and thrown up through the course of the night. "At least the room stopped spinning." She said focusing on the clock, her head was slightly throbbing. In the bathroom she could her the sound of a shower going and realized it must be Matt getting ready for school. Pulling a robe on Faith went down stairs and stared at the answering machine. Playing the message again she was sure that Linda was faking her calm demeanor. "Something must have happened yesterday and I have to find out what?" Faith thought as she went up stairs to the bathroom. "If Linda is lying to me, then it must have been something bad. If those football players are still giving her a hard time I'll..." Faith pounded on the bathroom door. "Matt I need to talk to you." "Give me a minute." Was heard from the other side of the door. Faith grabbed a pair of sweats and a t-shirt and pulled them on. The door eventually opened and Matt walked out wearing a pink teary cloth robe and a towel wrapped around his head. "It's all yours." Matt said hurrying to his bedroom. "Wait a second Matt. We need to talk." Matt paused and then slowly turned around. "About what?" Faith's mirror imaged smiled. "What happened yesterday?" "Oh that. I got on the cheerleading team. I am wearing the uniform for a rally we are having today." Matt said as he turned and headed in to his room and started to get ready. "Not about you. What happened to Linda yesterday?" Faith said following Matt. "Which one? The original or 2.0?" Matt said evasively. "The real one." Faith said becoming annoyed. "Do you mind? I need to get dressed." Matt said looking at Faith. "OH come on! We have the exact same body, I have seen it all before." Faith said frustrated. "Well, it's still new to me, so do you mind?" Faith turned and looked the other way, but didn't leave the room. "So what happened?" Faith asked. "It was so weird. I mean, looking like...'we' do and going to school. Guys all kept checking me out. At first it was really disgusting, but I got used to that, well sort of. And John is doing really well. He..." Matt changed the subject. "And we saw Eric and he is hating being the class slut, but it serves him right." "What happened to Linda?" "Well, Linda, the real one, helped me get on the cheerleading team." Matt said as he hurriedly finished getting dressed in his cheerleading outfit. "Is that all?" Faith said standing in the doorway in blocking Matt's way. "Well, she did have one minor run it with Josh and he started yelling at her, but she took care of him. She knocked him off his crutches and could have kicked his ass, but just left him on the ground for everyone to see." Matt said with a laugh. "She really put him in his place, you should have seen the look on his face, it was priceless." "Was that all that happened?" Faith asked. "Yeah, that was pretty much it." Matt lied. Faith stopped and laughed. "That's my sister. She doesn't take crap from anyone." "Yeah, she really showed him." Matt said trying to get by Faith. "I bet he was really mad, huh?" Faith asked purposely staying in front of Matt. "I guess...but I'm sure it is no big deal." "You saw what Josh and his friends did to Linda at the pool the other day and they didn't even have a reason. Now he has a reason and I can't let him hurt her again. Matt, I hate to ask you this, but take off you clothes." "What?" Matt stammered then backed away. "I'm sorry Matt, but I have to pretend to be Michelle today, so off with the outfit." "What if I say no?" Matt said warily. "Then I will have to take the cheerleading outfit off you and I can promise you won't be conscious when I do that." "OK." Matt said glumly as he started to strip. "I can't believe I am going out in public dressed like this." Faith thought as she looked in the mirror before she left. "This sweater is ridiculously tight and this miniskirt doesn't leave much to the imagination." Her reflection showed the tight sweater hugging the curves of her breasts and the skirt only went part way down her thigh, showing off her toned legs. Faith hurried from her apartment to where Matt said he was going to meet John. Faith took the precaution of reversing the doorknob of Matt's bedroom and locking him in. "I'll have to make this up to Matt later, but if Josh tries anything on Linda, I'll be there to protect her. Faith had almost wished she had practiced some with make up, but decided that she would just go without. She saw John in the distance and slowed to jog and tried to look a little winded. "Sorry I'm late." Faith said as she jogged up to John. "I was just about to go on with out you, where have you been?" The perfect duplicate of his sister was asking. "I slept in. I still haven't gotten used to the new alarm clock I have and I think I didn't turn it on or something." Faith lied and pretended to catch her breath as they walked. "You look great in you uniform." John said thinking he was looking at Matt. "It fits you really well." "Thanks, but I feel really exposed in this. These skirts are ridiculously short." Faith said tugging down on his skirt. "I guess I'm just getting use to it. This was the first thing I wore as Linda." John joked. Faith paused as she looked at John. "Speaking of Linda, what happened yesterday?" Faith asked. "What do you mean?" "I think you know what I mean." Faith said in a concerned tone. "Well...after everything that's happened with Josh, I figured that we should keep our distance from Linda. You know, for her own safety." John said sweetly. "That makes sense...I guess, but is that all?" Faith asked trying to confirm Matt's story. "Well, we don't want to attract any attention by acting different, do we?" John said reluctantly. "I guess not." Faith said satisfied that Matt had told her the truth. "This is a nightmare! Or maybe I am in hell." Faith thought as she went to another one of Michelle's classes. "Not only am I back in high school, but I am back as a girl and a cheerleader to top it off." Faith caught the lusty leers of a number of guys that watched her as she followed John through the crowded hallway. "All these guys keep checking me out and I don't like it. And I only caught a glimpse of Linda earlier today and it seemed like she went the other way when she saw us. Why?" Faith suddenly felt a hand pinch her ass and she turned around angrily, but stopped herself. "I can't loose it here. I have to pretend to be Michelle for the rest of the day, at least until I know that Linda is safe." A couple of guys made catcalls as she and John walked towards them in the hallway. Faith did her best to ignore them, but she could feel her blood boil as she walked by. By the end of the day, Faith had done her best to keep an eye on Linda, but it had only been from a distance and only briefly between classes. Faith had wanted to tell his sister at lunch who he really was, but never caught sight of her. It then occurred to Faith that Linda might be mad that her big brother didn't think she could take care of herself and had spied on her, so she decided not to tell her unless she had to. "Now I really am in hell." Faith thought as the rally was about to start. "At least I know that Linda is safe, all of the football team is here and she hopefully went home." "OK, this has to be worse than hell!" Faith thought as she ran out in to the gymnasium and the whole student body jumped to their feet cheering. "Everyone is looking at me and I am in a miniskirt. I hope Linda appreciates this, even though she will never know that I was here." Faith jumped up and down, cheering like the rest of the cheerleaders as the football team ran into the gymnasium. "I feel like a complete fool." She thought as she imitated John's enthusiasm. Finally Faith was grateful when all of the cheerleaders sat down facing the students in the bleachers. Faith noticed John staring and followed his gaze and caught sight of Linda in the crowd. Faith noticed that something seemed wrong with the way that Linda looked away when their eyes locked. "Matt was hiding something." Faith thought. "Well, I'll just have to get it out of John after the rally." Faith thought waiting for the rally to be over. Faith had followed John who was bouncing around like a hyperactive child who had just eaten a fist full of pixy-sticks and finally got him to talk as they were leaving the gym. "That was fantastic, wasn't it?" John shrieked as they exited the gym. "It's like we're rock stars or something." "I guess." Faith said disgustedly. "Are you kidding? I'm the...we're the coolest kids in school now." "So." "So isn't this the best?" John said giddily. "Not really. This is just stupid popularity. It ends when you graduate from high school, then you go out and live your real life." "But this is what I always wanted." "To prance around half naked, as a girl, in front of a bunch of idiots?" Faith said. "No, to be the most popular kid in school." John said angrily. "You're not the most popular kid in school, you just look like her." Faith said angrily. "Matt what the hell is wrong with you..." They both stopped as they heard a shout for help coming from the direction of the baseball dugout. Turning, Faith saw the figures of a couple of guys in lettermen's jacks excitedly watching something that was happening behind the wall of the dugout. "Linda!" Faith thought as she took off at a full sprint towards the six-foot fence that surrounded the baseball field. "Michelle, wait!" Faith heard John yell. Running at a full sprint, Faith didn't slow as she came running up to the fence, but when she came within five feet of it, she leapt up into the air, grabbed the top of the fence, somersaulted in the air and then landed on her feet still going at a full run. Faith sprinted to the corner of the dugout in time to see an incredibly large football player landing a punch that sent Linda stumbling backwards in Faith's direction. Faith leapt forward knocking two of the players aside like rag dolls and caught Linda in her arms. A profuse amount of blood from Linda's nose smeared across Faith's sweater as she caught her and eased her to the ground. All of the players momentarily froze in surprise. "Help me." Linda cried in wild-eyed terror to Faith. Faith turned and started to run at the boy who had just beaten her sister. A blood red haze of rage enveloped her vision as she threw the first punch, which connected with the surprised face of the large football player. Without a conscious thought, her body moving on instinct and anger, her fists and feet delivered blow after blow knocking the various forms that were around her to the ground. Linda managed to stagger to her feet as she watched Faith viciously move from one opponent to the next. The young athletes first stood surprised and then tried to get out of her way, but within seconds they were all laid out beaten and unconscious. Linda saw as Josh threw aside his crutch and chocked up on the baseball bat he carried. Hobbling forward, he was coming up from behind Faith getting ready to swing at her from behind. "Look out Faith!" Linda screamed as she ran to get between Faith and Josh. She stood in front of him ready for him to swing at her, but before he could she felt as if a truck had hit her from behind, and the last thing she heard before she lost consciousness was the sound of a large snap. The blood rage cleared from Faith's eyes as she saw her Sister hit the ground and she looked up at the baseball bat in Josh's hand. In an instant she had moved to him and knocked the bat out of his hand. Angrily she snapped kick Josh in the chest, which sent him flying ten feet back into the chain link fence, which strained against his weight, then sprang him back forward where he collapsed unconscious. "Oh my god!" The voice of her sister screamed behind Faith. Faith spun around to see John terror stricken, looking at Linda's body on the ground. John rushed toward Linda, but stopped and slowly inched forward looking at his old body. "Linda?" John said, tears welling up in his eyes. "Don't touch her!" Faith snapped and frantically searched the unconscious bodies around her for a cell phone. "Finally!" She said and quickly dialed 911. Within a short time an ambulance had shown up and the paramedics frantically worked on Linda's unconscious body. A neck brace was wrapped around Linda's neck and she was carefully placed on a straight- board stretcher. Within minutes the ambulances, along with John as a passenger, was closing its doors to leave. Agent K stepped up to talk to Faith. "Listen to me Faith. Don't say a word." Agent K said in a whisper to Faith. "I will handle this. Just go home." "But the police?" Faith said looking around at the police that were now talking to some of the football players. "Don't worry about them. I will handle this. Just go home and I'll be by later to talk to you." "I...ok." Faith said numbly. The windshield wipers methodically swiped back and forth as the rain pour down upon the car. Faith didn't think, she just drove. She had honestly planned to wait for Agent K at her apartment, but when she seen her car parked in its place, she got in and just started driving. The tears that had run down her face had dried and now only a look of grim determination was left on her face. She turned down the solitary dirt road that had now turned to mud. The car fishtailed about as Faith pressed down hard on the accelerator. She was almost there. She saw the run down trailer up ahead where she knew that Eric now lived. "I might have killed my Sister." Faith thought and a new wave of tears began running down her face. Faith slammed on her breaks and slid to a stop in front of the trailer. Just then the doors burst open and two figures came tumbling out and landed in the mud. A large breasted, half-naked blond teenaged girl scrambled to her feet and ran screaming to the passenger side door. She frantically tried to open the door, but it was locked. "Unlock your door." The girl frantically begged, as she tried to open the passenger side door. "Call the police, let me in, help me." She screamed hysterically as she turned and saw that man behind her was getting up. Faith's fists tighten around the steering wheel and she exhaled a sigh of disgust. In a flash she was out of the car and circling towards the man starred at her with wide-eyed surprise. As Faith approached him she could clearly see that he was drunk. "She's gone crazy." The man said pointing at the girl who until a few days ago had been Eric, Linda's boyfriend. "She started coming on to me and I was throwing her out." Faith glanced over at Eric who was desperately trying to refasten the bra, which by the looks of it, had been nearly torn off of the body that Eric now had. Faith turned around and looked up at the much larger man, who stood well over half a foot taller than her. The outside light of the trailer illuminated the dull angry look in his eyes as the rain mercilessly poured down on all three of them. "You're a real piece of shit, aren't you, you sick fuck!" Faith said looking up at the man. The man gave an enraged sneer and snapped, ""Shut the fuck up you little cunt or I'll..." In a fluid motion that surprised even Faith, she backhanded the man across the chest which knocked him back five feet where he collided with the trailer wall and crumbled to the ground. "You'll what!" Faith said coldly as she walked over to the man lying on the ground and kneeled beside him. Grabbing his greasy hair in her hand she pulled his ear close to her mouth and whispered, "You piece of human garbage, is this how you get you kicks? Raping your own step- daughter?" The man stared at Faith with hatred in his eyes and suddenly swung his right fist at her face. Faith caught his wrist and flipped him over so that he was face down in the mud. Pinning him down, she held his wrist tightly and then bent it hard. A loud cracking sound of bone was heard, that instantly sickened Faith and took her immediately back to the similar sound she had heard earlier that day. The man screamed loudly and begged for her to stop. Faith turned him around to face her again and pulled his ear once again so that she could whisper in to it. A look of near terror was on his face as she spoke. "If you ever fucking even think about touching another girl, I swear to God, I will track you down and cut your dick off with a rusty hacksaw. I will show you a meaning of the word pain that even dictionaries won't print. I will hurt you in ways that you can't even imagine, but I won't kill you. I will leave you alive, but so broken and damage that you will wish that I had killed you. Do you understand, you piece of shit?" The man quickly nodded his head up and down. "Don't you ever forget what I have said to you hear!" Faith said grabbing two fingers on his left hand and broke them. The man let out another scream and began to whimper. Faith stood up and brought her fist down against his face, knocking the man unconscious. The blond girl ran up to Faith and through her arms around her. "Oh thank God you showed up. He was going to..." But the girl couldn't say anymore and she began sob. Faith stood in the trembling embrace of the boy who had stolen the alien transformation machine away from his sister, which left her trapped in John's body. Faith looked up at the taller girl and stiffened in her embrace. If Eric hadn't taken the machine away from Linda, she would be normal now, their brother may have been cured and Faith would have been normal, she would be James again. Faith shoved away Eric's arms and snatched a first full of hair from back of her head. In terror the girl's eyes snapped open and she stared in shock and surprise at Faith. "You fucking bitch." Faith said pulling Eric up close to her face. "I didn't come here to save you, you fucking monster. I came here to kill you." "Why?" Eric pleaded and desperately tried to pull away, but was held firmly in Faith's grasp. "Look at the blood on my shirt." Faith said forcing Eric's head down to her chest where Linda's blood had stained her sweater. Faith trembled in anger as she held the girls hair tightly in her hand. "Look what you made me..." Faith paused only for a second, then continued. "Look what you caused. You just had to steal the fucking device away from her didn't you?" "Linda?" The girl said horrified. "Oh god, she's not..." "I promise you this, you son of a bitch, if she isn't alright, you'll wish I had killed you." With that Faith shoved Eric to the ground, turned and headed back to her car. "Please Faith. I am so sorry. I never wanted anything bad to happened to Linda." The girl said as she hurried to get up. Faith paused momentarily and stared at Eric. "Please Faith, I am sorry for whatever happened to Linda, but you have to help me. You saw what almost happened here. You have to call your men in black friends and have them pull me out of her. I don't want to live as Shannon anymore. It's not fair." She pleaded. "Don't even think of asking for my help, Eric. Have a good life." Faith said coldly. Faith was completely drenched from the rain when she got in to her car. Within seconds she sped away leaving Eric behind forever. Faith got home and wanted to collapse. She stopped when she heard the pounding up stairs from Matt's room. She mechanically walked up the stairs and let him out. Matt began to scream at Faith, but after taking a look at her, he quickly turned went back in to his room and closed the door. Faith still in the wet cheerleading outfit called the hospital to check on her sister, but was told that that information could only be given out to family members. Faith began to cry as she hung up the phone. She went up stairs to her room, striped off her wet clothes and collapsed into bed. Epilogue Agent B hurriedly rechecked the paper files he had just received with the computer screen readout. "This is impossible!" Agent B said in utter disbelief. "How could a mole get this far into the agency? Why didn't I see this earlier?" Agent B reached for the phone, but then stopped. "If he could get in this far in to the organization, who knows how far up this goes? Who can I trust? Who can I be sure hasn't been compromised?" Agent B thought of the few past attempts to infiltrate the organization. Rank amateurs who didn't understand the nature of the organization had attempted most, but a few had been done by more sinister forces. Most had been enemy governments, one a terrorist group and another he was still trying to find more information on, but was sure that it was a group that had figured out how to keep one of the machines active for an indefinite amount of time. He had planned to use Faith to... "Faith! Of course!" Agent B blurted out and reached for the phone. "With her help I can..." "I am afraid she's won't be helping you." Said the figure in the door that was holding a gun pointed at agent B. "She's my puppet to control now." Outside the rain poured down. There was a flash of lighting, which was followed almost instantaneously by a loud thunderclap. Inside the non- descript building that housed Agent B's office a single shot was fired and a lifeless body dropped to the floor.
