"Hi sweetie, how was practice?" George's dad asked as he walked through

just got back home from practice after school. George's dad Stephen was

George nodded and headed upstairs to his room to get changed. Unlike most

room which George figured it kinda was. The walls were painted a light
shade of blue and there were pictures of athletes on his wall instead of
girl bands. While there was a vanity table in the room, George didn't
have much on it as he didn't usually wear makeup.
George took off his uniform and dropped it on the floor. He'd tidy up
later. Dressed in just his bra and panties, he opened his wardrobe a got
out a white t-shirt and some jeans and put them on. George then headed
downstairs to the living room, grabbing a drink from the kitchen as he
did so.
The next day at school, George entered the cafeteria. After grabbing some
food he looked around for either his friends or an empty seat. He
eventually spotted Hannah, sitting on her own. George went over to join
her. George and Hannah were best friends and had been since kindergarten.
Hannah was always friendly to George despite his Janegirl tendencies. She
looked out for George whenever he got into trouble or fights with girls.
Little did George know but Hannah had started to develop a crush on him,
although she would never tell him that.
"Hey," George said as he sat down at the table opposite Hannah. Hannah
looked up from her plate. "Hey," she replied. Hannah was wearing a red
"the Flash" t-shirt and denim jeans. She was a bit of a geek but that's
what George liked about her. Her hair was short and ruffled. "What's up?"
George asked. "Oh nothing," Hannah replied. "Dad's got a date tonight and
he asked me to babysit my brother." Hannah's dad was single with her
mother leaving them soon after Hannah's little brother James, was born.
Her dad had recently tried getting back on the dating scene but it was
hard juggling between family and the late shift at the local diner.
"Do you want any help?" George offered. "I could come over if you'd
like." George was an only child but throughout the years he had spent so
much time over at Hannah's house so he knew how much of a handful her
brother could be. Hannah thought about it for a moment and then replied
"Yeah that would be cool. Thanks," ahe said. They were soon joined by
their other friends Laura and Linda.
"Hey guys!" Linda greeted them as she sat down. George and Hannah
returned the greeting. "So who's up for a gaming night tonight?" Linda
asked. Laura replied, "Sure, I'm in." George looked at Hannah and then
replied, "Sorry guys not tonight." "Aw. Why not?" Linda asked. "Hannah's
got to babysit her brother and I said I'd help out," George replied. "Oh
ok, no problem," Linda said, turning to Laura. "Looks like it's just you
and me then." Laura nodded and the two drifted off into their own
conversation about what they were planning on playing that night.
Later that evening after dinner George got ready to head to Hannah's. He
kept on the clothes that he had worn to school; a black tank top which
hung loosely off his body, some white short shorts and white sneakers. He
styled his pixie cut a little and then grabbed a small handbag, a black
jacket and headed downstairs. "Bye dad. I'm off to Hannah's" He announced
to his father. "Ok sweetie," he replied. "Don't be back too late. It's a
school night." George rolled his eyes "yeah, sure Dad" he said as he left
the house.
George didn't live too far from Hannah's house so he walked over. Once he
reached Hannah's house he knocked on the door. "Oh hi George I thought
you were my date," Hannah's father said a bit surprised as he opened the
door. "Sorry, Mr Kent," George said apologetically "Don't worry dear.
Come on in" Mr Kent replied letting him in. "You look great by the way,"
George said as he entered the house.
"Aw, thanks hun" Hannah's father replied. He was wearing a royal blue
dress that finished a few inches above his knees. He wore matching shoes
with tan colored stockings. His hair was a deep shade of brown and styled
into a neat updo. He wore white earrings and had a matching bracelet and
necklace. His makeup was done expertly. "Hannah is in the living room.
You know where it is." George nodded and headed in that direction.
"Hey" George said entering the room. Hannah was sloughing in the middle
of the couch with her legs spread out wide and she was in the middle of
playing one of her games on the PlayStation. "Hey," Hannah said not
looking away from her game. George sat down next to her and placed his
handbag down beside him. "What are you playing?" George asked. "Call of
Duty," Hannah replied matter of factly. George nodded and watched her
play for a bit.
"Georgie!" A loud voice cried and in came running Hannah's 3 year old
brother James. "Hi James," George replied getting up and receiving a big
hug from the boy. Letting go, James was smiling "I've missed you," he
said. "I've missed you too sweetie," George replied. Although he was a
Janegirl and didn't really like doing a lot of things that boys did.
George got on rather well with Hannah's brother. He guessed it was
something to do with him being an only child.
"Georgie, guess what?" James asked George excitedly, he like to call him
Georgie. "What?" George asked playfully. "I got a new Ken doll the other
day! Wanna see?" George looked at Hannah who was still playing her game.
"Yeah sure, show me," he said and James dragged George to his room.
Unlike George's room, James's was exactly what you would expect from a
boy his age. The walls were painted bright pink and hanging on the walls
were pictures of Disney princes in their gowns. James's bed sheets were
that of the Ken doll.
James picked up the doll off his bed and excitedly showed George it. It
was your typical Ken doll and this one was dressed in a cheerleader
outfit. "Oh wow James! He's beautiful," George said not really meaning
it. He never cared for wearing dresses or making himself look pretty for
a woman but he humoured the young boy all the same. "Do you wanna play
with him?" James asked. George nodded and they sat down and played for a
while.
Soon they heard a knock on the door. "That'll be daddy's date," James
said giggling and he got up and rushed downstairs to say goodbye to his
father. George followed after him. As George reached the top of the
stairs he saw Hannah and James standing at the door saying goodbye to
their father while he gave Hannah strict instructions on looking after
James. Standing at the top of the stairs George couldn't quite make out
the date so she moved down a bit further.
Standing outside the door waiting was a very handsome woman. Her black
hair was cute short and styled slightly. She was wearing a red dress
shirt underneath a black blazer and wore black trousers with shiny black
shoes. Once all of the instructions were given Mr Kent said goodbye to
his children, he kissed Hannah on the cheek who grimaced as he did so. He
gave James a big hug and told him to be good for his sister. "I will,"
James replied which made Mr Kent smile. Carrying a cardigan that matched
his dress in his arm and a handbag hanging off his shoulder, Mr Kent
turned and took the arm that was offered by his date and they walked over
to her car which was an impressive looking Audi.
Shutting the door Hannah said, "Ok its 6 o'clock and we've got two hours
until its bedtime." James nodded. "What shall we do?" Hannah got on
fairly well with his brother, it was clear that he got on her nerves
sometimes but they had a good relationship. "How about a movie?" James
asked his sister. "Oh, I don't know," Hannah replied mockingly. "I mean
I'm in the middle of game and it's getting really good." "Please!" James
pleaded making puppy dog eyes to his sister. "Ok, ok," Hannah laughed
putting her hands up pretending to give in. "We'll watch a movie, you go
and pick one." "Yay!" James yelled and rushed off to pick a movie.
Watching the exchange from the stairs George smiled. It was great to see
Hannah and James getting along. He wondered what it would be like if he
had a sister. Reaching the bottom of the stairs George asked "I wonder
what he's going to choose." Hannah laughed "Do you even need to ask?" she
said grinning at George. Soon enough James came back with a DVD in his
little hands. He handed it to his sister who looked at it and then
smiled. She showed it George "What did I tell you?" George looked at the
box, it was Frozen. Of course, it was James's favourite movie.
They entered the living room and Hannah turned off her console and then
switched to the DVD player where she put the disk in. While Hannah was
setting up the film George went into the kitchen and poured some popcorn
into a bowl. James sat himself on the floor in front of the TV, the
petticoats in his dress rising gently as he did so. George placed a small
bowl of popcorn beside him and then sat down on the couch next to Hannah.
As they watched the movie, Hannah reached for some popcorn at the same
time that George did. Their hands met and they looked at each other, they
stared for a moment before blushing and then both focused their attention
on the movie. Throughout the movie George couldn't help but notice that
Hannah would keep stealing looks at him when she thought he wasn't
looking. George didn't mind though, he was beginning to have feelings for
Hannah.
Once the movie ended Hannah announced that it was bedtime. "Awwwww,"
James whined. "Now now, you heard what dad said. You have to be in bed by
8, it's now quarter to. So time to go mister" Hannah ushered her brother
to bed. George followed them and watched from the doorway of James's
bedroom as Hannah helped her brother get ready for bed. He admired the
way that Hannah looked after her brother and felt a strong sense of
attraction for her then. He blushed and then looked away hoping that
Hannah hadn't seen it.
After James had been put to bed Hannah offered George to stay for a bit
longer but George declined. He didn't want to make anything more awkward
than they were if it was going to be just the two of them. As he left
George stopped on the doorstep, turned to face Hannah and as he said
goodbye he placed a kiss on Hannah's cheek making her blush. George
smiled and then waved goodbye as he headed home.
