pressing her fianc?e. Brian relented and told her about his conversation
with Matthew. Once he had finished, Jessica leaned back in her chair with
a shocked expression on her face.
"An alternate reality?" Jessica asked. Brian nodded. "And you believed
him?" Jessica continued. "Of course I did," Brian said crossly. "He's one
of my best friends and you know that Gemma works in some sort of lab.
Matthew isn?t likely to make up a story like this." Jessica sighed and
got up from her chair and walked over to Brian. She leaned over him
placing her arms around him pulling him into a hug. ?Honey I?m sorry ok?
It?s just that it?s a lot to take in." Brian sniffed and nodded
remembering that he had been confused when Matthew had first mentioned
it.
?So?? Brian asked looking up at his fianc?e. ?What do you think?? ?Well
I?m intrigued," Jessica admitted. ?All though I?m not sure that I?d like
living as a man for very long." Brian laughed. ?How about we do a deal??
he suggested. ?I?m listening," Jessica replied. ?We go for maybe one or
two weeks and if by the end of the trip you still think men have it
easier. Then I will do anything for you for the next week when we get
back," Brian offered. Jessica eyes lit up at that. ?Anything?? she asked.

of thing,? Brian finished. Jessica readily agreed. The thought that Brian
would have to do anything that she wanted for a week, was an opportunity
that was too good to miss. There was no way that she could lose.
Brian and Jessica shook hands, cementing the deal. They finished their
meal and then Brian cleaned up the dishes. Once he was finished, Jessica
grabbed him and pulled him into a passionate kiss. After a few minutes of
making out, Jessica then picked up Brian and carried him upstairs to
their bedroom where they spent the rest of the night making love.
The next morning Brian and Jessica woke up. Jessica got up, scratched her
bum through her boxers and then went and had a shower. Brian noticed that

At 12pm Brian and Jessica headed out to the drive and got in their car.
Jessica drove them to where Gemma worked. Brain, wanting to look
professional yet stunning, wore a pink peasant blouse with a beige pencil
skirt and matching shoes. His handbag also matched his skirt and he wore
gold earrings. Jessica on the other hand wore a simple white dress shirt
with black trousers. On her wrist she wore a stylish watch and she wore
black shoes.
When they arrived at the place where Gemma worked, Jessica parked the car
and they headed into the lobby. As they approached the building they saw
the company sign hanging above the entrance. The sign said ?MANY WORLDS

When they entered the lobby they approached the reception desk where a
young man with his brunette hair tied into a professional bun and wearing
a skirt suit greeted them. ?Good afternoon, and welcome to Many Worlds
Inc. How can I help you?? he asked greeting them with a smile. ?Hi, I?m
Brian and this is my fianc?e Jessica," Brian said introducing themselves.
?We?re here to see Mrs Roberts. We?re friends of hers.?
?Ah yes, of course," the receptionist replied checking the computer for
their booking. If you would like to take a seat over there.? He motioned
to a sitting area to the left. ?I?ll let her know that you?re here."
?Thank you,? Brian said smiling at the receptionist. They left the desk
and went to sit down. Brian smoothed his skirt before he sat down and
then crossed his legs.
They didn?t have to wait long before a woman wearing a white lab coat
with brown hair approached them. ?Jessica! Brian!? she called from across
the lobby. Brian and Jessica got up. ?It?s good to see you guys," Gemma
said as she reached them. She gave Brian a quick peck on both cheeks and
then shook Jessica?s hand. ?It?s good to see you too Gem,? Brian replied
smiling at her. Jessica nodded in agreement. ?It?s been a while Gem,? she
said. ?You know, we?d hang out a lot more if you joined us girls at the
bar," Jessica told her. Gemma laughed. ?Oh Jess, You know that I don?t
drink beer. Come on.? She motioned. ?Let?s go to my office.?
?So Jess,? Gemma started as they entered her office. ?Brian?s told me
what universe that he wanted to visit and I?m surprised to say that you
all of all people agreed to this. I mean you?re the most womanly woman I
know." ?I know,? Jessica replied, ?but after thinking about it. I thought
that it would be interesting to see how the other half lives. Plus Brian
gave me an offer I couldn?t refuse," she said winking at her fianc?e.
?Let me guess,? Gemma replied with a smile across her face. ?He offered

?So moving on,? Gemma said. ?We?ve got everything set up. So just to
confirm, how long are you planning on staying?? ?Two weeks,? Brian
confirmed. Gemma typed in the details and hit enter. ?Great? She said
?Everything?s ready as soon as you are. You will be placed into that
universe and everything will appear as if you had already existed in that

?What sort of lives will we have there Gem?? Jessica asked. ?Ah good

down a hall.
They entered a big room where there were two reclining chairs in the
middle of the room with a lot wires attached to them. Gemma motioned for
Brian and Jessica to sit in the chairs and they complied. A couple of
scientists came and attached some wires to their brains and then Gemma
walked over to what looked like the main terminal. ?We are about to start
the process,? she announced. ?Are you guy ok?? she asked. Both Brian and
Jessica nodded. ?Great,? Gemma replied. ?See you guys in two weeks.?
Gemma pushed some buttons on the terminal and then the chairs began to
hum and vibrate. Suddenly Jessica and Brian blacked out.
