Time dragged on, seconds accumulated into minutes. Urgent voices were being carried over from the bay area through the door.
“You two, move all cargo, except two red containers, and be quick,” ordered Malvani to his men and headed towards the control room.
The door to the cargo hold slammed open, and a man appeared on the other side. A giant of a man, donning black skintight clothes and a ski mask covering his face. Vincent relaxed a bit, covered faces in pirate raids meant the crew would live.
He swept the control room with his gaze, ignoring Vincent and stopped at Vera, measuring her from head to toe. She was trembling as well as crying now.
