Bobbie and Georgia were waiting for Kit and Larry. Bobbie took Larry to
a small room.
Bobbie said, "Nicole is suffering from shock, internal bleeding, pulled
muscles, and several small cuts. She is also depressed. Right now she
is in a hospital gown and in bed. She liked the fact you gave her your

Larry said, "I got some cloths for Nicole. Also some nightwear. Is

Bear Doll. She always liked Winnie the Pooh when she was a kid and did

Bobbie said, "That is a good thought Larry. However there are no stores
near that is open. I will ask Kit to give the keys of the car I
borrowed from Scott to Barry. He can find one in the morning and pick
one up. What will you do until then?"
Larry said, "Hold her hand until morning. She needs to see someone who
cares for her there when she wakes up."
Bobbie said, "That is good. Let us go to her after I talk to Kit and
Georgia."
Bobbie explained things to Kit and Georgia. Kit agreed and Bobbie went
with Larry to Nicole's room.
Larry said, "Knock knock sis. Can we come in?"
Nicole looked and saw Larry and Bobbie. "Sure but I look and feel like
crap."
Larry said, "If you want, you can get out that paper gown. Here is
something you might find more comfortable. I will wait in the hall.
Bobbie will help you if you want."
Nicole said, "Thanks Larry. You want Godzilla back?"
Larry said, "Not now Nicole. You need him more. I could not find Pooh-
Bear."
Nicole said, "Larry you do have a heart in you."
Bobbie said, "Nicole, Scott has promised a Spa-Fest minus the Spa. But
everything else will go. Anything special you want?"
Nicole asked, "Why no Spa?"
Bobbie said, "Not enough room."
Nicole said, "Good tunes, friends, finger foods, wine, brandy, beer,
cigars, and a massage or two will be nice."
Larry saw that Nicole was in her nightshirt. Larry said, "Roll over
Nicole."
Nicole did so and asked, "Why Larry?"
Larry said, "This is why Nicole. Just relax and keep your arms
comfortable." as he started a basic backrub.
Nicole said, "Larry if you ever quit brewing, you best open a massage
parlor. You can make a mint off the cops. Mmmph. Where did you learn
that?"
Larry said, "Two places. The Wellman and Helga. The Wellman clinic did
it to keep me busy and not drive the nurses nuts. Helga because she
likes a good rub or two. She also can give a good rub or two. Maybe if
we all sat in a circle, we could have group back rub."
Nicole giggled and said, "There's a thought. ZZZ."
The Next Morning.
Barry walked in the hospital. He went to Nicole's room and gently
knocked on the door. Bobbie was awake, but Nicole and Larry were
asleep.
Barry said, "Here is the Pooh Bear. What gives with Larry and Nicole?
That deputy is spitting nails over the fact he can't touch Larry."
Bobbie said, "I don't know. I will try and find out. Nicole has been
asleep for two hours, and Larry just nodded off. Here comes Nicole's
Doctor."
Dr. Holiday. "Good Morning. I am Dr. John H. Holiday. I see the patient
is resting well. She can go home today. Just let her have bed rest for
the next two days and a week of light duty. For her pain, she can use
any over the counter pain relief aid. She should hot pack the thighs
and shoulder regions. Bay Gay Heat Wraps will work well. No odor, long
lasting, and nonvisable under street clothing. No heavy lifting for the
next ten days. You are all set to go and her bill is taken care of
already. Any questions?"
Larry was awake and asked, "Who paid the tab? I want to thank that
person."
Doc Holiday said, "The same group that is driving a Deputy Marcus Reno
nuts. The U.S. State Department. They said Thank you for ending an
international incident before it got out of hand."
Larry asked, "Say Doc, will massages help Nicole?"
Doc. Holiday said, "Yes if applied to the affected areas."
Larry said, "Thank you Doctor."
Bobbie said, "Barry you and Larry get the car and a wheelchair. I will
wake Nicole and get her dressed. We will take her back to where I am
staying."
Barry said, "I know where it is. Helga is there and she beaming with
pride."
Bobbie asked, "What about?"
Barry said, "I promised I would let her say. However Kit said tomorrow
you and Nicole have to leave the school. The word got out and the
college decided to close out your investigations. Higher powers have
taken over."
Bobbie said, "What did we do? Never mind, I will find out in due time.
Tomorrow after we pick up Nicole's things we will drive to Scott's
place in Oswego."
Larry asked, "Can we do that today? Nicole looks like she will sleep
the rest of today anyhow."
Bobbie said, "I will have to get Nicole's keys and badge today anyhow.
None of that is evidence and her cloths that she had on she could never
wear again. So we will do it tomorrow and let Nicole sleep."
Barry said, "You need some rest too Larry. I also found an IHOP."
Bobbie said, "Sounds good to me."
Nicole rang in. "Me too. It is simple and we don't have to get dressed
up."
Larry added, "We don't have to worry about what to order."
Scott's Aurora Camp.
Helga said, "Larry you are wonderful. Marry me you wild and crazy guy.

Larry said, "I love you to Helga, but what is up?"
Hedi spoke, "I want you to know Larry, that Eric is recovery and doing
well. He also wants to thank you and Nicole. Larry you need to get a
tux and Nicole a gown."
Nicole asked, "Can we rent them?"
Helga said, "Yes you can. Hedi, Belle, and I are going to be fitted
today. Bobbie you will need one as well."
Barry said, "Bill is renting a tux and Scott has one. Larry, you and me
will be fitted for one. I wish I knew, for I would have brought mine
from home."
Larry said, "What is up? All I did was beat the crap out of a bitch who
harassed me and Nicole in school. That same bitch was hurting a kid who
is someone I never saw and never knew."
Barry said, "Lets get fitted Larry and find out when we find out."
Bill and I walked in. Bill playfully took a swing at Larry. I was
beaming with pride and happiness. I said, "Larry, do you know what you
are? Eric has tried your test ale and has placed orders for it for his
nation. Your ale is a success. He has placed this card on it. This card
will make it sell anywhere in Europe."
Larry looked at the card. It said, "By appointment of His Majesty ".
Larry said, "This can't be all. I can brew beer but there is more
Belle. Please tell Nicole and me."
Nicole said, "Yes Belle. Larry's brews will sell anywhere, but you are
acting like Larry is a SuperHero."
Larry said, "Nicole, I am not an over sized sandwich."
Bill said, "Joke if you want Larry, but you and Nicole will be at Wells
College in two days at High Noon. The place is in front of Admin
Building."
Wells College Main Administration Building.
Eric was at center stage. Flags were everywhere. A band was playing
patriotic music.
Eric spoke, "This is a very good day. I know this is an honor for me. I
wish to honor one of your citizens. This award by your nation's law is
an honorary award only. I wish to do more. Nicole and Larry Sargento
please step forward."
Nicole and Larry did so. Larry wanted to know and Nicole was worrying
about Larry.
Eric said, "Please knell. Larry Sagento. In recognition your bravery,
gallantry, and spirit, I knight thee. Nicole Sargento. In your devotion
to duty above and beyond the call, I proclaim you Dame. I thank you
both."
Larry and Nicole were struck with awe. Eric Royle was a Prince. The
name Eric Royle was his cover. I am not allowed to say his true name.
Larry did brew that ale and called it ' Black Knight's Ale ' and it
sells well. The label shows a knight in black armor and the card that
Eric gave Larry.
Scott's place back in Oswego
I was happy. I said, "Nicole a Lady and Larry a Knight wow."
Bill said, "Hold on Belle. That is good, but this mission is a bust. "
Bobbie said, "Why Bill? We caught the bad guys."
Bill said, "Yes you did. However there were students who felt they had
to leave the school. There are students who will need help for a long
time because of the actions that were taken here. At best, we made a
technical victory."
I said, "That was to be expected Bill. You care a lot. Don't give up
caring. Just accept sometimes, you can't save everybody."
Bill said, "I know that Belle. It still hurts. The ones we failed to
save, will still hurt even if we did save them."
Scott said, "That is why I cooked up this Spa Fest. We may not have a
Spa, but the time with good friends and relaxing music can heal the
soul. Good food and drink just makes things better. I know smoking is
bad, but we need to burn off steam some how. I do like a cigar or two
once and awhile."
Larry said, "I can grow to like this."
In walked Georgia and Chesty. Georgia kissed Scott and Chesty picked up
Nicole.
Larry said, "Scott your pipe services will be needed soon. Helga wants
you to pipe her at the altar when Helga and I get married. MMPH." Helga
just kissed Larry and left him speechless.
Helga said, "Lets circle up everyone. Group rubs"
Sure enough that is what we did. Everyone was given somebody a backrub.
Nicole was right on one thing. Larry was good at this. Nicole had
Chesty under her control and Georgia was keeping Scott in bliss.
