Answer: Hmmm, doesn't seem as if you're a candidate for the
author's "fan club" but you raise some interesting points. In
addition, the author must confess certain of your criticisms of
the work are not without merit. (Fair enough?) You are not the
only concerned party. Certain "agencies" are forced to do
contingency planning in this regard (e.g. number of males
"suitable" for military service, etc.). The author is unsure
what the likely sociological impact would be as that would be a
function of the rapidity with which the concept was embraced by
the female population. If expanded gradually over a protracted
period, the author does not anticipate any severe dislocations
from the proliferation of the lifestyle. This gets to the
crucial question implied in your letter, namely what happens if
this becomes an overnight sensation, a sort of "TGurl boom." The
author would cite the only similarly significant short run (a
few years) societal shift in living memory. That would of course
be the mass entry into the workforce of female workers during
World War II. That "happening" altered forever they way women
viewed themselves and to a greater extent the way in which they
were viewed by men. It was in fact the REAL birth of the
"Women's Lib" movement that got so much publicity a few decades
later. The political and societal repercussions are still being

didn't mention if your gurl was dating men yet. If not it MAY be
