Jake awoke the next morning feeling wonderful; she kissed her lover Bob
gently as he began to stir. It was great to feel so sexy. She padded
over to the mirror and looked admiringly at her - at Amber's body.
'Well, in many ways it was tempting to see if Amber would be willing to
trade bodies and lives,' she thought, 'but I love most of my own life
too! I'm rich, have a great job, my income from all sources is 500,000
a year, I drive a hot car, I have the respect of my peers. True, I'm
not handsome or sexy and my wife is divorcing me. But the pluses far
outweigh the minuses.'
She closed her eyes for a moment, then continued thinking as she saw
her reflection again.
'Maybe if I offer Amber enough money, maybe after the divorce she will
be my wife and we can trade back and worth from time to time? Or if I
cannot convince her to marry me, maybe for a few days a month we can
swap.'
"Not a bad idea at all," without realizing it Jake said the last
sentence aloud.
A sleepy Bob said from the bed, "What's not a bad idea at all, Amber?"
'Amber' started, then smiled at the gullible male. "First, I make us
breakfast and then we have some morning sex. How does that sound,
lover?"
It was one of the best mornings of Jake's life. Being Amber was a trip!
But even though she enjoyed Bob's admiration and sex and being so
beautiful, she couldn't hide from the fact that being Amber was okay
for a visit but she didn't really want to BE Amber for the rest of her
life! Jake reflected after Bob drove her home.
She had to smile as Amber's Mom asked excitedly, "Did you get that
marriage proposal? Get him while you can, dear! You can't be a PA all
your life!"
She sighed regretfully when 'Amber' told her, "No, not yet, Mom."
'Her' sister Beth was disappointed. "I sure hope you marry soon and get
out of the house! You're such a pain!"
"You're such a bitch!" laughed Jake. And as usual, Beth went storming
off to her room and slammed the door.
"I wish you two would get along," sighed Mrs. Chase.
The world was upside down. Jake shook her lovely head and reached for
the phone to call her cousin Max.
"Any change or word, sir?"
"I'm afraid not, Amber. Their demands - which I am sorry I can't tell
you - have absolutely no touch with reality. I didn't know that Jake
gave you my private number?"
Jake had to smile even though she was very worried.
What if 'Jake' would be killed by the SHITS? With her analytical
engineering trained mind Amber sat down with a cup of java, her world
class legs curled underneath her. She listened to what was said.
Max was kind to Amber. "I know you are devoted to Jake. If you promise
not to tell the press, I'll fill you in on what the FBI and the police
told me."
'Amber' agreed. After Max hung up Jake was worried. It did not look
promising! It looked like she might be Amber Chase the rest of her
life!
'I would lose so much... wealth, a strong male body, respect of peers,
job security. I would have to face periods and eventually babies, be a
wife and cater to some unworthy man, listen to my sister's whining and
try to control a mother's drunkenness. I would lose a Ph.D. in
engineering.' All this would be gone.
Jake smiled charmingly, and thought, 'I can just imagine me trying to
get my wealth and degrees back by saying that I am really Jake Watson
in Amber's beautiful body. I would be committed before the ink was
dry!'
"It's great being beautiful and sexy, and but I must be practical," she
concluded aloud.
So Jake formulated some strategies based on the possibilities that her
real body would be killed. The way Max said the feds and police were
talking, they didn't have much hope. The SHITS were nuts! Jake got
dressed for the occasion in a tight, short black leather miniskirt and
a snug red silk blouse, the top two buttons of which she undid. She
wore sexy pantyhose, and of course Amber's sexiest high heeled black
boots. Jake greatly admired the image in the mirror. There could be
worse things than to be stuck looking like this for the rest of her
life! That made Jake feel better. Looking great helped her morale and
feeling of power.
She got into the Civic carrying a large briefcase. Inside was a laptop
from work. God, she hated this car and missed her Porsche!
Jake went to her former house and showed ID and one of the detectives
also recognized her as Mr. Watson's PA. One good thing about being a
beautiful woman was that she could charm the watchers and sneak out
with her personal laptop replacing the one she brought in. The cops of
course couldn't tell the difference! Back home at the Chase's, Jake
punched a special number into the laptop. It had to be her personal
computer, as no other would do what she wanted. Soon her instructions
were sent on their way.
Jake sighed and ran her hands through luxuriant hair. "I sure hope I'm
doing the right thing," she whispered.

The days dragged for the frightened captives of SHIT. (Super Heroic
Intelligent Tarzans)
Doris clung to her strong husband. Thank God he was with her, otherwise
she would be having a nervous breakdown. The members of SHIT enjoyed
ordering 'Jake' and Doris around. They were surprised though when the
servants didn't like waiting on them. They thought for sure they would
rather be their servants than work for the ball busting Watsons.
During the night the gardener timidly approached 'Jake'. "I know this
is silly, sir. But the staff asked me to ask you if we are still being
paid even though we all captives together?"
Amber laughed Jake's booming laugh. "Of course, Harrison."
He was relieved. "Thank you, sir."
Doris freshened herself up and checked herself in the mirror. Not her
best, but hopefully still sexy enough. She dragged her husband off to
bed. She needed the reassurance of sex that her husband loved her
enough to protect her.
Meanwhile, the members of SHIT were worried. They were running low on
beer!

Saturday night Jake had another wonderful evening with Bob, though she
was a little piqued as she felt the man took her a little too much for
granted and also patronized her. But still it was great to get all
dolled up wearing sexy and beautiful clothes and go out to dinner and
have sex afterwards.
Jake noticed that Bob seemed rather commitment shy.
Jake went in to work Monday with still no word on the apparent Jake,
Doris or the servants. She tried to find out what the demands were but
the FBI was even more clothed mouth that the police had been. At least
the FBI men weren't foolish enough to be suspicious of HER! It was a
horrible day. No one listened to her ideas - not even Bob, which made
her furious. That idiot Hart made some decisions that cost the company
four hours of production and tried to blame it on others. There was a
tremendous row in the engineering department and it was still not
settled when Jake left for the day. She was glad it was over. What a
day dealing with Miss Adams! When she got her body back the bitch would
have to go. The woman was a real witch! She made life as miserable as
she could for 'Amber'.
Getting home, Jake sighed happily when she took off her heels and
soaked her tired feet in warm water.
The rest of the week was hardly any better. Bob ignored her and went to
ball games and drinking with his buddies. The only good thing was that
George Hart was hit by a lift truck while walking BACKWARDS in a no
walk zone. By Wednesday Jake and Adams were screaming at each other.
Both were reprimanded by Max, and Amber begged for and got her own
office.

Doris clung to her husband more fiercely every day of their
imprisonment. "Darling, if we get out of here alive I will be the best
wife in the world and devote myself to your happiness. I don't know
what I would have done without you this nightmare week."
Amber was touched, and felt so strong and protective. The poor helpless
female needed him.
"We'll get out of this, darling," he said reassuringly.
But how? He was wondering. It was hopeless when all four of the SHITs
were here guarding them all. And they never left - wait a minute - they
left when they were low on beer. Amber snuck into the kitchen and
emptied out two cases of beer.
He laughed when he heard them arguing about who had drunk more than
their share.
"Look, be quiet, we'll just get more. We still have plenty of money
from what we took from the Watsons," said Arthur Q. Dobbs.
He sent two of his men into town for more. That left only Dobbs and his
biggest follower Joe to guard them. Amber in Jake's powerful body
attacked Joe, and he got the first karate chop in on the surprised
giant. Desperately, Amber savagely hit the man in the Adam's apple and
he choked and collapsed on the floor. Unfortunately, Dobbs picked this
moment to walk in on them and gave a cry like the bellowing of a bull
ape. He raised his gun, pointing it at Amber, who desperately rolled
out of the way and the shot went wild. Amber grabbed the gun from the
fallen Joe and fired at Dobbs.
The bullet hit him in the chest and he fell, muttering, "Shit! You
can't do this to Arthur Q. Dobbs! I'll sue!" Then the rest was silence.
Doris hurled herself sobbing into Amber's arms! "My hero!" she cried to
Amber.
That made Amber feel great. Using Dobbs' cell phone they called the
police. They came up along with TV reporters and newspaper reporters.
There was plenty of coverage of the two returning SHITs being greeted
by the waiting cops. They were in time for the six o'clock news.
At home the real Jake was stunned to see her old face on TV. Amber was
alive. The members of SHIT were dead or captured. 'He' was a hero. It
was unbelievable. Jake shook her head. Amber had escaped with his life!
She could get back to her real self. She ignored Mrs. Chase and Beth
talking as she walked into her room and stared at the mirror.
'To be honest I will miss this body, but it will be good to be myself
again and not be a lowly employee making only 35,000 a year.' Jake
smiled Amber's most charming smile. 'Hell, we still have the medallion.
Maybe I can bribe - talk Amber into swapping from time to time or even
marrying me?'
The next morning Jake took extra care with her appearance. She didn't
want Amber to think that she had neglected this body.
It took time for Jake to be alone with 'Jake'. It was a busy morning
with everyone coming by to congratulate Jake on his heroism and escape.
It wasn't until well after lunch and indeed near quitting time that
Jake managed to be alone with Amber, even then she had to break in on a
conversation. She was tired of waiting.
In the privacy of her old office she sighed. "Well, all's well that
ends well. Shall we switch back now, Amber?"
'Jake' looked puzzled. "I don't understand you, Amber?" he said.
"You know, switch our bodies back!"
'What was with Amber, anyway?' she thought.
'Jake' laughed. "Is this some sort of a joke, Amber?" he asked. "I
don't understand a word you're saying. It makes no sense. It's almost
like you were saying that you are really me - Jake Watson, and I am
your PA Miss Amber Chase."
Jake couldn't believe it. Doris came into the room. Shot a glance of
dislike at Jake and them kissed her 'husband' lovingly.
"Let's go home, dear, remember you promised me you wouldn't overdo it
your first day back. You've been under a terrible strain this week.
Besides, we have to get ready for 60 Minutes, they're coming at eight
to interview us."
'Jake' kissed her fondly back. "Right you are, Doris dear." He turned
to his PA. "See you tomorrow, Amber?" he said.
He left the new Amber standing in shock. She couldn't believe it. 'So
Amber wants to be me!
'Well, he and Doris sure seem lovey dovey!' thought Jake.
She went to the safe. As she suspected, the combination had been
changed.
"Well, no use crying over stolen bodies. There's no way I could
convince anyone I was Jake Watson - especially with Doris so in love
with the new me," the New Amber laughed ruefully since she was alone in
the office. "Amber gives up this young sexy beautiful body for my life.
Well, it might have been worse!"
She went back into her office. She steeped her fingers. The new Amber
even suspected that the new Jake hoped by his pretending no body swap
happened to either convince 'Amber' that 'she' had imagined the whole
medallion thing at best or at worse convince 'Amber' to keep her mouth
shut or be committed.
Briefly she considered using her skills and the plant equipment to open
the safe, but it as too risky. The new Jake might be expecting this and
be ready to trap her in illegalities. In any event she didn't believe
that the new Jake would be dumb enough to leave the medallion in the
safe. No, it was probably in the river or a dumpster. She could of
course kill the bastard, but what good would that do?
'Amber' crossed her legs and started tapping her perfect teeth with a
pencil.
Bob came up and smiled. "I can tell you're deep in serious thought."
She looked up startled, then smiled. "How's that?"
"You always tap your teeth when you're thinking deep thoughts."
Amber's smile widened. "Do I really?" That was interesting.
"Dinner tomorrow night?"
"Are you sure you can spare the time away from your buddies?" she said
coldly. And how dare he ask at the last minute like this?
Bob didn't know what to say. It wasn't like Amber to be this mad - she
was used to it by now.
"I have other plans, Bob," the new Amber said, and swept by the
flushing man.
Elsewhere, the new Jake was chuckling inside. He had it made. He hoped
'Amber' would accept her new life with good grace. He wasn't a monster,
he didn't want to have her committed. He smiled at his devoted,
worshipping wife. His slightest wish was now her command. It sure beat
being a submissive woman! Sure, he would miss his youth and beauty but
millions of dollars, a loving wife, social position and the power at
work were a good trade.
'Originally I had hoped to marry someone well off,' he thought. 'But
now I've cut out the 'middle man', I'm the rich man myself. The mayor
and governor are holding a banquet tonight in my honor for my escape
and capturing or disposing of SHIT!'
Doris was dressing happily. Her life was wonderful, it was so good to
be alive! She didn't think they would make it out of that dreadful
situation alive! But they had thanks to her wonderful husband! AND to
add sauce to the Crapes Suzette he seemed far more agreeable attending
social functions - if her intuition wasn't off, Jake now actually
seemed to enjoy it! Why? But she wasn't going to look a gift horse in
the mouth. She was in love with her husband!
'Jake Watson' was surprised Monday when 'Amber Chase' walked in with a
pleasant smile on her beautiful face. "Good morning, Jake," she said
sweetly.
He wondered if she really believed she was Amber, but couldn't ask her.
He looked her over. God, what a babe! She was so sexy and beautiful. He
wondered if she would be agreeable to an affair, but doubted it.
She handed him a letter. He read it. Amber was resigning effective in
two weeks.
"Why?" he asked. But he thought he knew.
"Well sir, it seems like I got my picture in the newspapers and a
modeling agency has called and thinks they can get me work in New York.
It's nothing personal. You've always been the world's best boss and
sweet and kind to me," she said with apparent sincerity shining out of
her matchless eyes.
The new Jake was only a little surprised. "Well, good luck, Amber. I'll
miss you."
He would, too; he was hoping 'Amber' would help him do his job. Now he
would have to make other arrangements. He couldn't just say, "Stay and
help me steal your life easier and I'll give you a buck an hour raise."
But he was glad Jake wasn't making a fuss. He really didn't want to put
her into a nut house.
"Thank you, sir." She smiled brilliantly. "A favor, Mr. Watson, could
you kinda keep an eye on your - my family, I mean, while I'm gone?"
"Of course, Amber. May I ask, what about Bob?"
"Oh, he's not happy but he's also not willing to marry me so he doesn't
have much say in the matter. Don't you just hate it when men refuse to
commit? Oh, sorry, 'Sir', you being a man couldn't understand how women
feel about that."
The new Jake had to laugh grimly. "No doubt about that, Amber. Perhaps
your leaving will force him to commit?"
"Perhaps, but it might be too late. I am such a beautiful girl, I'm
sure I will not lack for admirers."
The new Jake had to agree. He certainly admired her beauty.
Epilogue
The new Jake Watson and Doris Watson are very happily married. Jake
loves living in luxury and being a boss. His wife is pleasantly
surprised he goes to all the high society functions. She loves him more
for it as he obviously is only doing it because he loves her so much!
She knows how Jake hates them.
Max Schimdt is worried about his cousin. His engineering skills seem to
have deserted him and he had to hire a really expensive engineer with a
masters to help out. Maybe Jake had a nervous breakdown during his
kidnapping? Though he is still an effective manager. He's rather hard
on Bob, though.
The three surviving members of SHIT went to prison where they were
regularly beat up by other inmates for using racial slurs. Some people
never learn.
How is the new Amber doing? Is she bitter?
NOT ON YOUR LIFE!
She's doing VERY well. Not only does she love being beautiful, but she
is very well off financially. You see, one of the reasons the new Amber
left to go to New York is that it would explain her new income. She had
transferred as much liquid cash as wouldn't be noticed into her
numbered Swiss bank account which already had 500,000 dollars in it and
which she could use in her new identity still. Then she had the Swiss
bank sell Schimdt stock short. She knew Jake Watson's kidnapping would
cause prices to fall. By the time she cleaned out all her transactions
she had almost a million in Switzerland. Which was a good thing as she
didn't hit it big as a model for six months. Then she started making
about 80 thousand a year. It was quite an ego boost. Eventually Bob
visited and proposed, but Amber turned him down. She was engaged to a
famous Broadway agent's son. Not only was he handsome and charming but
the man adored her!
He did in truth, as not only was she beautiful, but unlike every other
woman he had ever met she was very logical. Such a mind was rare even
in men, but very rare in a woman. Amber always gave him and his father
sound advice. His dad adored her as she also had no desire to be an
actress and could talk them both almost man to man.
They plan on a June wedding.
Amber wasn't surprised that she hardly had to send any money home as
Jake Watson was kind enough to support the Chases left behind. Beth was
glad her sister was in New York and now she could be appreciated in her
own light and not thrown into the shade by her sister's gorgeousness!
She thought, 'At least the bitch gave me her car before she left.'
Amber now drives a Porsche. Her mother wonders how she can afford it,
but is afraid to ask.
What happened to the Medallion of Zulo? The new Jake put it in a bin to
be made into scrap metal, but somehow it fell off and was casually
discarded. Strange, isn't it?
