A few hours after surgery as a groggy Paul tried to awake from his

The nurse explained to Paul about the catheter and explained what was to

didn't know this was Paul they were working on I would have thought it

We actually had to wait until the next day for "the results". Paul was

next day, Dr. Turnbull asked if she might have a private consultation
with me in her office. Turnbull told me Paul was healing fine and due to
the fact his calorie intake has been cut along with the special drugs to
heighten his metabolism and his rigorous exercise routine Paul has been
losing weight right on schedule. Paul is actually getting weaker not
stronger due to the effects of the female hormones he has been on for a
about a month now!
Dr. Turnbull added, "Mrs. Mangione I believe the pre and postoperative
drugs are having their desired affects. Paul is showing tenderness in
his breast tissue, meaning his breasts are beginning to grow. Now I
believe it is time to tell him of his "unfortunate setback." We both
started laughing. This is so much fun I thought to myself.
Dr. Turnbul said she will proceed with the rhinoplasty, Adam's apple

Paul was resting in his bed reading a book when we walked in. I
explained to him Dr. Turnbull wanted to explain the results of Dr.
Newton's exam.

immediately" Dr. Turnbull said handing Paul a pen and the legal papers.
Too bad Paul didn't read the all of the legal papers. What he was
actually signing were papers explaining his agreement to finish his
sexual reassignment surgeries. Documents explaining this was voluntary
surgery. Papers explaining how he felt he was a woman in a man's body
ect. There were also preliminary divorce papers as well and documents
transferring to me all his shares in our companies. Documents that said
Paul wanted nothing to do with the businesses and wanted to start off a
new life as a young woman. It will be as if the male Paul never existed!
All the documents explained what was about to happen to him in very
detailed legal language however Paul just signed the back page handed
them back to Dr. Turnbul, closed his eyes and sobbed even more.
"Now Paul,ah, this will be a delicate subject and you must listen
closely, my dear" Dr. Turnbul said. " As we have discussed since the
Spirilextradual cells feed off a protein in testosterone. This was a
lie but Paul was not a medical doctor. Turnbul further explained, "Since
testosterone is your dominant hormone, and since we did miss some
Spirilextradual cells with the first surgery, we will have to lower the
levels of your testosterone hormone to ensure no new spindles grow
again.
After this surgery we will be introducing some strong forms of female
hormones into your system. The female hormones will help the other
medicines you are currently taking kill any and all stray
Spirilextradual cells. There may be some dramatic side effects though.
None is life threatening. You may experience rapid growth of the hair
on your head, while all other hair follicles on your body will fall out
including your beard. None of that hair will grow back during treatment
and in ninety five percent of our patients it never does.
"You will not be able to be cut your hair or you nails during the

The hormones being introduced to your body will be tricking the cancer
cells, but Paul, ah, when a young woman develops enough to begin her
monthly cycle, she experiences different discharges from her vagina
depending where she is in her cycle. Your voided area will react much in
the same way. However, a few of our previous patients actually develop a
monthly cycle somehow. You may notice some discharges in your panties, I
mean underwear coming from your voided area. Do not be alarmed Paul, ah,
your body is trying to do what comes natural for females.
Also you may also experience some wetness in your voided area at certain
times. This may happen if you become amorous. You may see a pretty nurse
or think about Katie in that way, just normal male behavior. Please do
not be alarmed Paul, ah." Dr. Turnbul sounded so clinical but the look
on Paul's face was priceless.
Dr. Turnbul then finished explaining the other probable side effects.
She continued, " There may be other very noticeable but not life
threatening side effects. You may develop some breast growth in the B,
C, or D cup size range. Actually 9 in 10 of our patients have experience
this side effect. The other patients showed a small amount of breast
growth, only to an A maybe a smallish B cup. The cup size of their
mother's breasts was the best indicator for size of their breast growth.
When this happens to you Paul, ah, understand you will have to use some
sort of a support wear. When your treatment is done and all your scans
come back negative for Spirilextradual cells, you will be declared
healed. We can have a mastectomy; as well cut your hair and nails if you
choose".
Paul then uttered in a quiet shaking voice, "Let me get this straight
doc. I still have the cancer in me that will kill me soon if I don't
have more surgery. You have already cut off my penis and I now have what
to all the world looks like a vagina. I will now be put on female
hormones to lower my testosterone level to that of a typical woman, as
testosterone feeds the cancer that is trying to kill me. It may take up
to four or five more months of treatments, in which time I may lose all
my body hair, but grow long hair on my head that cannot be cut along
with my finger and toe nails, while I am receiving treatments. There is
a huge chance I will grow good-sized breasts since my mother was a large
busted woman. To top that off, due to my high estrogen levels, my voided
area may have secretions throughout the month, and I may somehow start
having periods like a woman. And to top everything else off, if somehow,
I get turned on sexually, I will get wet inside my voided area!" By the
end Paul's voice was really cracking and he had started crying
uncontrollably again.
Much to my surprise after a few minutes and though the sobbing tears
Paul said in a soft voice, "Doctor I just want to live. You have said
all of this is reversable. If that is what it takes to survive so be
it."
