Chapter 14 -- Jimmy Has a Great Idea But First Checks with His Bosses
At the shop the next Saturday, Ms. Oberdorfer asked Jimmy if he could
possible spare a few hours on Sunday for "a special project". He agreed
right away, pleased that he could spend more time with Ms. Oberdorfer or
Yvette, and was eager to hear about the project.
"Well, I am faced with a problem at the lower-end store where we first
met, basically that too many bras and panties are collecting in the bins
there and that the eBay outlet is not keeping up with the influx. I don't
want to undercut the reasonable prices that I and other online resellers
have maintained, so I'm thinking of shipping the excess items off to
thrift shops outside LA just to be rid of them. What do you say Ginnie? I
think it would be criminal to throw them away-- most are quite nice and
many women would love to have them."
Jimmy was excited to be asked by his boss for his input-- it just never
seemed to happen, as valuable as he knew he had become to the smooth
running of the shop. Even better, he had an idea that just might appeal
to Ms. Oberdorfer, based on discussions he'd just had at the library. Ms.
Butler had asked her staff to think of a way that the Acquisitions group
could participate in the next "Booster Day" event at work, where booths
were set up by library staff and outside volunteers to sell donated books
and other things of value that have been given to the library over time.
It did raise significant amounts for library outreach activities, even
though the "merchandize" now had gained a certain predictability to it
over time--mostly donated books, books and more books.
"Ms. Oberdorfer, I have an idea but I must get my supervisor's buy-in
before I suggest anything to you," Jimmy offered. "I don't know if she
would like it, but I hope she would approve. If she does, I would do all
the work to set it up, not for pay, of course, but on my own time. It
would be totally fun."
While Ms. Oberdorfer resented a bit the superior place Ms. Butler
obviously held in Jimmy's universe, she also delighted in his enthusiasm
and was truly curious about this idea he had come up with. Also, she
could see this as a chance to meet the supervisor who held such sway over
Jimmy's life and hopes.
"Of course sweetie, but I have to say you have me really curious about
this plan of your's-- it must be great." She intentionally did not raise
the topic of meeting Ms. Butler. But she did get Jimmy's agreement to
work at the other shop on Sunday to "shape things up" on the assumption
that Ms. Butler would agree to the mystery plan.
Early on Sunday Ms. Oberdorfer picked Jimmy up and they drove to the low-
end shop. Ms. Oberdorfer sketched out the need to clear out a minimum of
six of the two-by-two-by-three-foot collection bins they used for
storage, but only with "duplicate" stock to the extent possible. Jimmy
understood immediately what she meant, and his new but deep expertise in
choosing and sorting items allowed him to proceed quickly and
confidently. Soon, he had a system working to put aside the better bras
and panties in each new size, color, and construction type of bra, and
then matched it (by brand where he could) with a set of panties. At a
certain point, any equivalent sets were consigned to the removal bins.
For the most part, these were just as nice to those he'd saved, and he
made a judgment call to create a third pile of those that looked too
"tired" be be chosen by any shopper. They would simply be discarded.
This took him hours, with Ms. Oberdorfer leaving him to it, but they
stopped for sandwiches that she went out to get while he worked. He so,
so appreciated her confidence in his knowledge of the underwear
collections and what the store needed. He didn't once think it strange
that his new "avocation" was in choosing the bras and panties that women
wore-- he knew he was helping women with their intimate needs and that was
his devoutly desired fulfillment.
Chapter 15 -- Take Your Child to Work Day
Jimmy sat at his desk the next Monday, marveling at how busy his days,
his whole life had become. He mentally catalogued all that lay ahead in
the next week. On Saturday, Yvette and he had arranged to visit the hair
salon where Blake worked to re-style his hair now that it had grown out a
bit. Blake had sent two photos that showed young Japanese boys (he
assumed) that wore a style similar to his, but with the bangs swept to
the sides, plus a long bit of hair sweeping down just in front of the
ears to frame the face. In a way, it was more childish than his current
style. In one of the pictures, the boy was wearing blue plastic barrettes
to hold everything just so. Jimmy worried that this could lead some
people to mistake him for a youngish girl. Even more worrying, Yvette had
remarked on how she could retain her long hair if only Jimmy would adopt
a ponytail -- a bit short still -- or, even better, pigtails sprouting from
the sides of his head.
Almost every day now, Ms. Butler directed him to clean up the unisex
bathroom at work, because she had once again urinated carelessly. She
expressed sincere gratitude to him for doing this chore for her, and said
it left more time to work on the importance of the acquisition group's
portfolio, although concrete results were not apparent to him.
On Thursday, of course, he had the same duty at her apartment, more
challenging because it seemed like her bathroom floor and toilet only got
cleaned, by him, on a weekly basis. A new wrinkle had emerged last week
when she told Jimmy that her period was arriving in the next day or two,
and she asked on a Wednesday at quitting time for him to visit the drug
store and shop for tampons and panty liners, and to bring them to her
Thursday. She added that she was well supplied with sanitary napkins,
which she used only for the first night when her flow was at a maximum.
Deep down, he felt all these chores made him closer to his boss. He even
was working up the nerve to ask her when her period actually started and
how often it came, so he could keep track of her menstrual cycle and buy
all her supplies.
He'd had the germ of an idea that he would raise with Ms. Oberdorfer on
Saturday at the shop. Since the chance meeting with Ms. Emiko and her
daughter at the outdoor market, he had speculated that the radical dress
designs, especially those for pre-teen girls modeled by her daughter,
might become a "signature" item at Ms. Oberdorfer's upscale stores, where
young mother's visiting the store might want one for a daughter, and
their essentially exhibitionist styling might be the hook. He had noticed
on certain L.A. celebrity/gossip websites that celebrity mothers often
seemed to dress their children in provocative outfits, even at ages
younger than 10.
At the store, his role was fast becoming important. On the previous
Saturday, when Yvette was busy with a big sale for a regular customer,
Jimmy had offered to help a woman who entered, dressed stylishly and
nursing her child, who turned out to be a three-year-old boy who
apparently had not yet been weaned. The boy was dressed in bright yellow
bib shorts and nothing else, as Jimmie could clearly see at the side
openings.
"Here, hold Jamie for a moment, would you, while I look over the bras?"
his mother asked Jimmie as she handed over the boy. Her large and
sloping, pendulous breasts, complete with dark protruding and moist
nipplesconfrontedhim; she unconcerned by her display, because "Ginny" was
a "girl", of course. As Jimmie reached for her son, he could see up the
boy's shorts and make out his tiny penis and testicles. Jimmie was struck

Ruminating as he was over all the dimensions of his new life, with
seemingly endless paths open to him (and probably "chosen paths" selected

his supervisor placed a hand on his shoulder and inquired "Jimmie, are
you with us?" It was spoken in a friendly way, and Jimmie gratefully
nodded. He barely noticed the strong oder Ms. Butler was giving off from

cotton confection of ruffles and ribbons. "Very lovely, very Lolita," he
thought.
"Remember Emiko, our friend from the street market we visited?" she
asked. Without waiting for a reply, Ms. Butler continued "We've been
talking about getting together, and I have had had the greatest idea. We
have the "Bring Your Child to Work" day tomorrow, and she and I agreed
that her daughter Charlotte could come as my putative 'child'. Wouldn't
that be great?"
Jimmy did not know what "putative" meant, and he'd look it up later, but
he knew he should enthusiastically agree. "Oh yes Ms. Butlerutler, that
would be a lot of fun for him," he gushed, but he meant it completely. He
wanted to see Charlotte again, see how he was dressed, and guessed it
would be one of the tween shifts he had worn at the market. Jimmie loved
being able to refer to the "girl" as "he", although he did not know why.
"The rules don't say that the child you bring has to be a relative, just
that the child has to be accompanied by a relation or guardian. So, Emiko
will come too."
This was a lot to take in, and Jimmie had the now familiar feeling of
being on a raft floating down a wonderful, exciting, river, with the
steering done by a female who understood him and his deepest desires.
Life couldn't be better. "If I can help, I want to. If you or Emiko needs
help, just say the word."
And so it was that Emiko and Charlotte appeared in mid-morning the next
day, and Ms. Butler and Jimmie met them at the library entrance. He was
dumbstruck at how wonderfully, how outrageously the two of them were
dressed. Charlotte looked just like any other 11-year-old girl, perhaps
in thrall about princesses and ballerinas, and her "costume" -- the only
word for it -- consisted entirely of a sleeved pink leotard, gauze angel
wings on her back, white ballet flats, and a garish tiara to complete the
effect of a angel come to earth. It suited her "innocent child" look
completely, except that "her" tiny penis and testicles bulged rather
noticeably from her crotch. Wow, double wow -- this was laying it on
thick.
The bulge -- the size of a walnut -- was emphasized by the tightness of the
leotard. Probably intentionally, Emiko had dressed her in a much-too-
small leotard and the leg openings reached up to Charlotte's waist at
each size, and that focused attention on the genital bulge below. To top
this off, Charlotte's buttocks were almost totally exposed at her rear.
And yet, she was an "innocent" it seemed.
Emiko was also dressed outrageously. She had on a skirt and abbreviated
crop top, both in a muted lemon-yellow color, but with a tie-dyed pattern
from the 1970's. Her skirt was tiny, not quite covering the bottom of her
buttocks, with the top of the crease between her buttocks showing at the
top rear. Her top was held up by two simple shoulder straps, but was so
loose that her breasts would certainly show if she ever bent over -- the
bottom hem was also loose. Jimmie predicted that he and others were in
for a show.
Ms. Butler was about to read to the 15 or so boys and girls assembled in
the reading circle on the floor. Ms. Butler took her place on the cushion
before them but, instead of sitting Indian-style, she extended her bare
legs toward the assembled kids and had Charlotte sit between her
separated thighs, leaning back onto her torso. She was braced upright by
a book shelf just behind. Charlotte held the book she was reading, and
turned the pages at just the right time -- she was obviously intelligent.
Her "wings" did interfere a bit with this arrangement. but Ms. Butler had
a bit of mischief in mind.
Surprisingly, no parents or staff were present, and so Ms. Butler took a
chance and placed her hands on Charlotte's tummy, essentially embracing
her (or him?). As the reading went on, she slipped her hands downwards
until she touched the bulge in Charlotte's leotard, and then covered the
tiny package with one hand. It seemed no one noticed, and Ms. Butler

This was what thrilled her about Jimmie, and how utterly she was steering
him into things that challenged his manhood, especially the cringe-worthy

Jimmie's style preferences were evolving, and more and more, he resisted
Ms. Oberdorfer's selections and suggestions. He was polite about it, but

offered him didn't really appeal. Ms. Oberdorfer got a big hint of
Jimmie's deep-down urges when he mentioned to her that the denim, bib-
overall shorts Ms. Butler had dressed him in for trips to the market made
him "feel really good". So, she thought, he liked casual, youthful
outfits, which she had never stocked at the store where Jimmie worked.
However, at the bigger store Jimmie had first visited, she had a broader,
and more budget-conscious selection of clothes, including tween and teen
fashions. Maybe the teen fashions would fit him. She visited that store
on a Tuesday before it opened and spotted two items that she thought
would fit "Ginny", as she unconsciously thought of him. Both arguably
looked male, sorta, and they were large enough to fit him, she believed.
One choice was very light grey denim overalls, with the standard bib
front and over the wide shoulder straps that crossed in the back and
looped down to the the waistline of the pants. However, the legs flared
somewhat at the bottoms, giving them a not too subtle feminine look
overall. The second choice was a burgundy corduroy romper that really
looked childish, particularly the loose, flaring area at the hips that
looked a lot like a skirt, or maybe a "skort". She thought Ginnie would
love both new outfits.
And yes, Jimmy loved both outfits, and wore the grey overalls to work
right after Ms. Oberdorfer offered them at the staff discount of $15. On
top, he wore a bright white, ribbed cotton tee with capped sleeves, so
short that inches of his midriff showed. For shoes, it was his comfy Mary
Janes and white anklets. The footwear was a new addition he had been
given by Ms. Oberdorfer. Taken as a whole it was definitely a daring
outfit but, at this point, he had thrown caution to the winds -- that was
the expression, right?
Deep down though, he much preferred the romper, its childishness pulled
at him, but the big problem with wearing the outfit were his hairy legs.
When he had worn the bib shorts to the market, with Ms. Butler's beige
panties showing at the open side slits, he wanted to register distinctly
that he was a guy and the hairy black growth made that statement
convincingly.
But recently, he had shifted to simpler work clothes and a favorite
outfit was the white cotton capri pants Ms. Oberdorfer had found for
him, matched with a variety of colorful tops. With them, he wore one of
two pair of simple leather ballet flats (one dark blue, one tan) that
completed the outfit, with unadorned short white socks. To wear the short
socks without attracting unwanted attention, he had been shaving the
lower portion of his calves for a couple of weeks.
This was a dilemma. Shaving his legs entirely was a statement of
femininity, no doubt about it. He simply didn't want to go there. So far,
he had outwardly convinced himself he was wearing androgynous clothes,
although he had acknowledged internally that they were, in fact, women's
clothing without exception. What to do?
Another strong urge was to wear some wonderful, bright green leather
"sling backs" that he located in the "shoes bin" at the store. They were
a woven weave and had pointed toes, and he was in love with them. He
guessed both Ms. Butler and Ms. Oberdorfer would applaud his choice, and
they were truly amazing looking, but they were not in the slightest
androgynous -- they were very "girly". Again, What to do?
