Seen any shoes you like?? Paula was struggling to decide. ?Any styles that go with anything?? ?Some colours will go with anything, but sometimes you need certain colours," said Joanne. ?That doesn't help. I like that white pair, but then I like that pair of straw coloured sandals too," said Paula. ?I'll leave you to struggle sis. I'm after some swimwear," said Joanne. ?Swimwear!? said Paula. ?But should we go away for the summer, I'll need some too!? She quickly turned and followed Joanne to a store which specialised in swimwear. ?You need a swimming costume too," said Joanne, noticing her. ?A bikini would look good on you.? ?I know it would," agreed Paula. ?And Kelly would certainly agree.? ?I most certainly would!? came a familiar voice. Paula turned to see Kelly approaching. ?What are you doing here?? she asked. ?My mom is having that job interview. It was either come out with her or spend the day indoors, plus I had an idea you'd be about. I just noticed you walking in here and decided to follow," said Kelly. ?So, which one do you think?? asked Paula to Kelly. ?Any which shows off those curves of yours," said Kelly. ?Which is roughly all of them.? Paula was looking at those that barely covered the nipples, but thought twice. They all left the shop minutes later after further browsing and met Laura in the high street. ?Oh hi Kelly," said Laura on noticing the extra member of the group. ?Hi Mrs Smith," she replied. ?My mom has got an interview. Don't mind if I hang around?? ?No, I'm sure Paula is all too happy to have you along," said Laura. ?Mom, I've seen some shoes I like plus Jo and I have been looking at bikinis," said Paula. ?Ok, so you want me to look at them? Go ahead and take me to them.? ?Mom, where have you been?? added Paula, as they made for the shoe shop first. ?That's for me to know and you to find out," said Laura pointing to her nose. Paula knew then that an answer was not coming any time soon, so dropped the subject. They arrived at the shoe shop and Laura was shown the pairs that Paula had taken a liking to. Paula had to be content with just the one pair for now. When it came to the bikinis a while later, Paula was left disappointed. ?I'll get you one later," said Laura. ?I don't think they'll sell out in the next few days.? They then found a cafe and had lunch. As the weather was nice, they sat outside. It also allowed Miriam to find them. ?Hi mom. When Laura came back with another cup of coffee, she asked Miriam if she had seen the story on the newspaper. ?They said the decision would be made at the end of the week," said Miriam. ?I'm not sure if the papers are right but they don't seem to care about those involved. Mark has been worried these past few weeks and here they are putting the nails in the coffin.? Paula and Kelly had finished their meals and were keen to do some more window shopping. Laura was more than pleased for them to do so and let them. ?Now that they've gone, I can tell you that I've ordered the rings," said Laura. ?And they'll be ready in two weeks.? ?Oh thats great. How much do I owe you?? asked Miriam. ?You don't. You'll be needing the money just to live," said Laura. ?Thank you. But I would prefer to pay for the one," said Miriam. ?Anyway, did the store say anything about the inscriptions?? ?They did give me a strange look but accepted it anyway. It's custom for them. They're going to be identical except for size.
