"Just some cherries and some cream," said Paula. Kelly was now beside her and trying to look innocent. "Planning on doing some baking, or making a trifle?" asked Laura. "We're just going to eat them," said Kelly. "Cherries and cream, yum yum!" Laura looked at them with a wry smile. Her face seemed to suggest, in their opinion at least, that she may have figured out what they were up to. Even if she had, she didn't say anything. She didn't say any more on the subject till they got home. Until then, she turned to the subject of Linda's presents. "So, you need to get her some gifts? Any ideas?" she asked them on the bus "I might get her a new vanity case," said Kelly. "Or some bath accessories." "I might get her some make-up," said Paula. "After all, she uses it often, just like us." "Well, as long as she appreciates them," said Laura. Once they got home, Laura once again mentioned the cherries and cream. "Don't tell me you are thinking of using them in the way I think you're going to use them?" "So what if we were? We bought these items and we would like to use them," said Paula. "Mom, Kelly and I want to make this first time a good one and we're going to do that, even if it is a little naughty. We intend to have some fun and that is what we are going to do." Laura just looked at Paula and smiled, shaking her head. "You make your point. But let me put those items in the fridge for you. As for the cherries, I'll have to hide them from Joanne." Joanne was rather fond of cherries and would eat a box load if she had the chance. She proceeded to put both the bottle of cream and the cherries in the fridge, then turned to the girls again. "Ok, so when you do get round to doing it, try not to use all the cream and remember to clean the nozzle. Now, go and watch the telly while I do some sandwiches." Paula and Kelly sat on the sofa together, on the television. They went straight to the film channels to see what movies were on. Kelly decided to stop when she noticed Dirty Dancing. Laura didn't mind this film either so it was smiles all round. "Another thing I want to point out, don't tell anyone what you intend to do with the cream and cherries. I'll just tell the others that I intend to use them, hence the reason I don't want you to use it all," said Laura as she handed them their sandwiches. "Ok mom," said Paula. "And another thing," said Laura. "You're not planning on using squirty cream all the time?" "Depends on how much we like it," said Kelly "I see," said Laura. "So, when are you getting us the vibrator?" asked Paula. "Give me a chance to find somewhere first," replied Laura. "Well, don't take too long," said Paula. "Be patient!" said Laura. "Can't please some, can we?"
