When Derek's parents had operated this location as a Christian book store before their deaths, the income they had provided the Church had been a welcome addition to furthering the Lord's goals. Her actions in closing the outpost of faith in favor of this place had grated on him in more ways than just financial. But he had to admit, looking around at what she had built in its place, that before she had been sent to her richly deserved punishment in hell, what she had built was much more successful than what Derek's parents had owned. Now of course the Church would not miss the contribution this place would have made to them, but when he succeeded in returning Derek to the fold, he would feel great satisfaction that Derek's sinful Aunt's work in life would be returned to its proper role in supporting the advancement of the faith. "Nothing really, what did you have in mind?" she asked him leaning a little toward him. "I wanted to know if you wanted to have dinner at my place," he blurted out. "I've been to your trailer so many times now and I really haven't asked you over and I thought we could just hang out there." Jenny raised a finger and held it up to his lips. "Shush," she said. "Of course I'll come over," she said. "We've been eating out together almost all the time already. So what could possibly make you think that I suddenly wouldn't want to come now." He turned and stalked back into the coffee shop. As he went into the door she shouted to him to make sure he left enough for her to kill when he was done. Mindy fake cowered and retreated to the back room with Derek in hot pursuit. Jenny put her forehead into her hand and just laughed at them. She should have been feeling a little embarrassed by the commotion, but she felt too happy to care.
